I did that with 3 wallets for testing purpose. But it shows in the GUI only the first wallet... what now?

Basically this is my problem:
I have several wallet.dat files from bitcoin core. I want to export all the privkeys of all those wallets. Then import them all into 1 single wallet.dat. I want to do this without opening the wallet.dat with bitcoin core. Because it takes a lot of time to rescan. Thank you!

Whoa, that's some explanation - thanks a lot, I understand now.

i don't agree on the part where they say that put on the same table, the suffix like "bit", "coin", "dark", and saying that they could have a bad impact, while it can be true for the latter, certainly isn't for the former
names that start like "bit" and "coin" are just abused too much and oversaturated, but has nothing to do with having a bad light for your service
exmo remind me of emo, not that great of a name, and gem is even more abused than bit...
It never hurts to have a good original name. Not sure what you mean by "gem is abused".

Just voted - after you vote, it shows how the votes stand.
It's good to know if you participate just before the contest ends.
Thanks for telling me this! It sort of gives the late voters an advantage.

Great idea but i think it's still to early. Living on bitcoin has to be painful these days with such small acceptance. Most people don't even know what bitcoin is.
Depends greatly on where you are - US, Europe, somewhere else.

Be warned, the security of this app is not great. It stores your Blockchain.info password and your app's PIN in plaintext on your phone, retrievable over USB. It also stores an encrypted copy of your Bitcoin wallet right next to the plaintext password (which can be used to decrypt the wallet). I haven't checked, but I imagine these files might be included in iTunes backups of the device too.
The sandbox keeps it safe from other apps, but you are 100% insecure on a jailbroken device.
They did add a new PIN lock to the app, but again this is not used to encrypt your private key and is only a UI lock.
That does sound pretty poor. However, if the app stores its data in /Documents and you have a lock on your phone (preferably complex passphrase / touch ID) then the app's data should be encrypted on your device. Didn't the recent "scandal" about those usb "backdoor" services show that this isn't good enough; you need to set those explicit NSFileProtectionComplete attributes? The usb "backdoor" applies only to computers you have specifically authorized by unlocking the phone and tapping "trust this computer." If you can unlock the phone, you could just transfer yourself the contents of the bitcoin wallet anyway. Well, if you have access to an unlockable phone, this would get you access to the Blockchain app's data despite the app's PIN lock

So what's the point here, that people shouldn't be allowed to communicate with whomever the fuck they want? Or that those communications shouldn't be allowed to be hidden?

What's sad is that what would fix their money woes is to manage money better. Free trade agreements, banking privacy, the ability to buy and sell more freely, foreign ownership, a better workforce (education, health), regional military cooperation to lower the cost of defense, balanced budgets ....
Some things in the modern world, like healthcare, education, seem to get more and more expensive. Some other things are essential - food, clothing, shelter, medicine ... and to have a country encourage good supplies of those things without subsidizing them takes a little finesse. Nah, let's roll out Ecuadorcoin, what could go wrong?

I agree with the other commenters in that this video is cringe-worthy for many reasons, not the least of which is the complete and shameless objectification of the "Bitcoin girl."

If it is explained in a paragraph, let alone multiple paragraphs, you're doing it wrong: Bitcoin is like Paypal, but Bitcoin is its own currency.

Made me realize how annoying it is that our price has been so stable for the last few months. Even though that is exactly the #1 thing Bitcoin needs to gain traction as an every-day currency.

By forcing it on others you're only doing it harm in the long run.
Since when is offering people info on the benefits/risks of Bitcoin considered forcingYeah, "forcing" was a bad word choice, sorry about that, but then again the Bitcoin community at large tends to be rather pushy, which is usually not very appreciated. Bitcoin is not completely unknown in Argentina, and in fact has a rather large users community (compared to other countries in the region at least), some of which are very active in promoting its use. I've seen some go a bit too aggressively about it though, like giving out waiters' tips in Bitcoin paper wallets, or talking in general about it rather disingenuously, overstating its benefits and ignoring its risks. Because of that attitude people in argentina forums, as an example, are immediately dismissive of anything Bitcoin-related. I like the idea of more widespread educational material, but I'm a bit wary of any kind of "in your face" promotional campaign. I think people who tip waiters (who don't know about bitcoin) in bitcoin are assholes. I also know that way too many bitcoiners gloss over the risks. What I think is beneficial is moving in the direction of making Bitcoin more user friendly via third party apps, easy to use wallets, things like Trezor; as well as easy-to-read, readily available educational materials to those who are curious/want to learn.

This would be a good time for an infographic in Spanish to circulate around Argentinian social media, maybe listing the benefits of Bitcoin. Even a small flyer campaign; possibly throw up a site with more info/easy tutorials for the less technologically apt.

You know bans don't work when you need a second one :-)

What's the problem with a transaction fee? I'm sure there's work involved with taking bitcoin just the same as there is credit card.
