141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for two weeks, no one confirmation! on: December 25, 2017, 10:21:27 PM
I've made a transaction of 33 dollars worth of BTC 14 days ago as of now with an abominable fee of 12 dollars and still no one confirmation! Preposterous! How long should I wait?
You're not the only one who's experiencing it my one transaction too isn't confirmed until now and if I'm correct with it's already a month. But I didn't pay the right fee so that was not confirmed as the fees now are really so no miner is interested of confirming it with a very low fee but haven't you tried to rebroadcast it to the network, you paid a good fee.

Tried several times already, no avail!
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for two weeks, no one confirmation! on: December 25, 2017, 10:19:49 PM
this particular reason why I keep holding my bitcoib and did noy making any transactions because I'm afraid that my bitcoin get stuck like this. I can't bare losing any bitcoin now because I am have important thing to use my earnings I hope this issue will finally come into an end so that I can withdraw all my bitcoin and put it where I intend it to be used.

SegWit2X hard fork...

We'll see!

For my part I made a transaction of $ 300 yesterday, I paid $ 17 fee it was valid in 1 hour, I understand not your problem can you post us links

Well here the sucker: https://blockchain.info/address/1BUw6gv3NMp1uoSzdSYizyXCebvDaD82b6

Yours is in the 41-50 range. The ones in front will all have to clear first before yours does, which can take quite some more time depending on how the hash rate stays. Sucks but nothing you can do but wait, waiting since 18th myself for 108sat/byte fee.

Aha, ok, I understand, thank you for the clarification mate! Then we wait, not big of a deal, but still, it's always good to clarify!

Cheers!

The network is grossly congested right now, you're going to have to use a TX accelerator to get anywhere or you're just going to be sitting the pool with a ton of other people. Worst case you're going to end up waiting some more time but you're at least going to be accelerated by VIABTC -- not too bad.

This is why I personally would rather use ETH if I'm on a time constraint with some transaction. It'll confirm quick, cheap, and it's accepted by a good amount of people.

Goodluck!

Another question, if I won't do anything, will it ever be confirmed, like in a month or two? I'm in no hurry!

Yes, I think I'll go with other crypto all together, starting 2018!
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for two weeks, no one confirmation! on: December 25, 2017, 09:45:38 PM
Ok, I see, but increase fee, there's nothing to increase, amount is in itself little!

But thanks anyway guys!

I don't know why your transaction has taken such a long time I made a transaction on Friday sending  $100 and paid  $12 as the fee but I had to wait for two days before it could show up in my account . Trying using an accelerator maybe it could help.

Transaction did show up instantly in the wallet, but no confirmation still!
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One currency One world? on: December 25, 2017, 09:31:19 PM
Global currency concept for popular with bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most affordable mode of transfer fund internationally with very less transaction fees

With abominable transaction fees and longest time wait per transaction, exactly!
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One currency One world? on: December 25, 2017, 09:29:32 PM
Do you guys billieve that bitcoin will become the only one currency that can use as a mode of payment in the whole world? How is this become posible in the future?

I've been always saying that the World needs one currency!

NWO FTW!!!

152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Crash on: December 23, 2017, 10:58:26 PM
Just another thread asking the same question one more time? The crash that everybody is waiting will never happen, just relax your titties because you are not even going to be alive to see it.

What should be the main reason for bitcoin crash recently??

Probably if you are expecting a giant crash you are surely a friend of Roger Ver or a guy from the Mining pools who wants to make the huge flippening from bitcoin > bcash too.

Just stop this non-sense crap, if you want a crash, invest in a shitcoin with less than 1m in their total marketcap, that is it.

I disliked Ver the instant I first saw him on a photo, ha, always trust your first feeling!

Sleekit character!
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is the new era for bitcoin? on: December 22, 2017, 10:02:16 PM
its up to your country where you wnat to cashout those amounts. and if you are legitimated fully.

selling bitcoins is the easiest, if you have already made all the paperwork due to the tax regulation of your country and talked with your bank because of the high incomes.

there are plenty of sites or even exchange platforms who offer a big invest into bitcoins where you are even able to sell 100 million in 1 shot

Ok, thank you for the comprehensive clarification! Cheers!

There's nowhere to go but sideways or up after this correction of course. After all, we've got great analysts to hype the public.

Coffee mud guessers, especially I laughed hard when coffee mud guesser has a license for guessing! Smiley
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is the new era for bitcoin? on: December 22, 2017, 09:54:56 PM
I am a long term holder too, but i have sold some bitcoins last night before the crash, aproximately at $15800 each one of them.

And i bought again at a little bit more than eleven thousand dollars, i am happy about that.

And yes, i think that bitcoin will increase a lot during the next year.

Hey, I've been wondering if one would want to cash out, say 5M bucks, which service one would use?
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano the new NEO? on: December 22, 2017, 09:07:53 PM
I took a hit today with ADA, as did every other coin. But I really think all this is due to one thing that most people haven't learned yet. Bitcoin is ancient and not scalable. That's why the fees are insane. Everything thinks because Bitcoin is not future proof, nothing else can be either. This is not the case. Bitcoin is almost a decade old now, in this space it's a dinosaur. Innovation comes every day now, Cardano will be much more future-proof.

You don't say, I'm waiting for my first confirmation still, has been 6 days now, not to mention abominable, scum of the Earth fee!

Would be great at least have a mobile optimization for people who only use tablets, like myself!
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano the new NEO? on: December 18, 2017, 12:35:45 AM
It is just pump...right now I am mad, than i did not buy it yeastarday but buying right now is a sucide.

I'm not only mad, but almost lost that I didn't buy 10 Bitcoins back in 2015, I thought even to buy 50, but didn't even get 10 which I kinda decided to buy but didn't! ☺

Now I'm like everyone else who have lost the train, thinking about little ones, but there are so many and all of them are solving the oldest World's problem!

Which one to get that's the question!

Cheers and have a good day!
159  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hassleless Exchanges on: December 17, 2017, 02:49:48 PM
Hi there!

I'd like to know what exchange website would be the best to buy Bitcoins and other coins, without all that drivel with ID verification and all that!

Simply normal stuff, where I could deposit USD from my VISA and proceed!

Thanks

George

P.S. Don't want to use Local Bitcoins atm!

I'd definitely recommend localbitcoins even though you don't want to use it for whatever reason. It is just the most seamless experience every single time, and i don't think that any exchange can rival its reliability and longevity at this point.

Coinbase can be hassleless, unless something goes wrong. In which case, you won't be offered any help. Also there are tiny limits, meaning you probably won't be able to buy more than $2k a week at max.

As i said, especially for buying bitcoins fast and conveniently, check out either localbitcoins or paxful. Both work well but i prefer Localbitcoins because of its longer history. Don't just discard the idea of using it.

Well, reason is painfully simple - price! Other than that, yeah, back in the day when I was floundering with Bitcoins instead of taking it seriously I was using LB for buying some little amounts to play in casinos and I even won half of Bitcoin!

Eh, should have bought 50 in 2015, would have been a millionaire already!

Thanks for the advice!

Thank you all guys, much appreciate the input!

If you happen to find a "hassleless" exchange, it is an exchange to be wary of and to keep a safe distance from. That's because exchanges with relaxed rules and anonymous operations are typically those that operate without the proper credentials and the trust of the community at large. The less hassle you expect from them, the more hassle they will later give you. This is the golden rule to remember before you sign up for an exchange account.

Keep this post of mine in mind and if you ignore it, come back later and let us all know. I'll be here and will try my best to offer some comforting words.

Seems reasonable, I thought about Challengy though, even market cap website is referencing it, but I heard you, thank you!
