Wallet has to be more stable before new bigger exchanges
This, have done all the tricks and still have yet to get my wallet to sync. I transfered coins to my wallet days ago and they are still sitting unconfirmed. That last checkpoint they added: ( 6920, uint256("0x72129f1943af505f450e32e815e783870e33bd26b990222dcb91a837194b0a96"))it screwed up the wallets and their ability to sync properly past block 6920. ya same here. shows current block but still no sync The problem is that there is no eligible stake on the network to mint a block. Everyone has coins at the exchange. Users can help the value of this coin by moving some coins to hot wallets and letting them stake. And how exactly are we gonna do that when the wallet can't sync? |

My issue is the "stealth" changes they implement. Mining should still be going on but due to issues they cut the 14 day period way short.
So you would rather be mining even though the reward is getting smaller and smaller? Good point there argakiig, you'll probably pay more costs for mining than you would get in return. When the coin was released, I got 30-40 coins per block. Not bad for a hobby miner with only 2.5 M/H. After the second halving (2000 coin reward / block), I only got around 0.2 coins per block. That's when I stopped. It simply wasn't worth it. |

Read through the BCTANN and judge yourself. The devs have been with us from the start, providing a very smooth launch. A hiccup occured some hours ago when PoS was started out. Devs have been quick to react though and are still working on it. |

Seems we can expect something similar to Stealth Addresses as well.
If the dev team is looking for a copy/pasta from the VTC source, they'll probably have to wait a long time. It would be wiser (as you hint) to code something similar to Stealth Adresses, from scratch. |
