141  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US Marines were sent on eve of Scottish referendum on: September 25, 2014, 04:55:25 AM
This is not entirely surprising. I would not have been surprised if there was rioting in Scottland if they had voted for independence. I believe there would also have been economic chaos if there had been a 'yes' vote
142  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: September 25, 2014, 04:54:12 AM
Your problem is that you blind, Watching USA media and you belive that your government is all good and they gave you freedom. yes we have gay freedom, porn movies right, Gamble, etc.. this is the freedom bro ?

you killed almost 1 million Iraqi, i guess if killed that number in europian country what will happen in this time.
but 1 million Iraqi lol nonne care they are a Muslims they are a terrorits.
and in other countries you fight lets talk about Japan, Vietnam, etc... Is that your success bro ?
You got all that because of Weapon, and that's why you are fear Russia now
despite Russia has bad economy and lmost nothing special just Moderon weapon.

USA like any other country mate you just blind and see its the best in all time.

Muslims killed a good bit of those! Violence against sunni vs shiite, car bombings of whole markets GTF out. You think those guys being executed by the 100's is the work of America? Muslims kill hundreds of muslims every day its worse than blabk on black crime. No one says USA is the shit it has its own problems, but this is about Islam.
This is true. Islam is by far the most violent religion that the world has ever experienced. Even their teachings advocate violence while other religions preach peach and understanding of others
143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The US is bombing Syria to destroy ISIS. on: September 25, 2014, 04:52:01 AM
The Islamic State already knew about the bombings, so all bases and headquarters were closed down, who are they bombing?
IS aka ISIS doesn't exactly have bases nor do they have any kind of headquarters. They also did not know the exact location of the airstrikes so they cannot move their "troops" away from the areas getting blown up.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visited my first Bitcoin ATM in Chicago today on: September 15, 2014, 10:50:08 PM
Usually there's a huge "spread" of buy to sell on these things, which has rendered the entire Bitcoin ATM ecosystem a complete useless joke.  Maybe that's what happened.  When he finally got in there, surprise, the markup was fucking $21 just to purchase.  Greedy ATM owners have singlehandedly made this innovation pointless. Sad

This is what happens when there isn't enough competition, people will charge what they can get away with, look at the games industry for fucks sake lol Tongue I know it's a completely different industry but I can't help but think about how stupid the prices are for games in some genres with this sort of thing since it's both to do with digital products, the prices for some digital things are just crazy.
I think this also somewhat has to do with the connivance factor. If people can just go to a restaurant or a store with cash and buy bitcoin then they will be willing to pay more verses having to have an exchange linked to your bank account and waiting days for the deposit to confirm
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: September 15, 2014, 10:36:26 PM
I would get a tattoo with the private key (encrypted) somewhere on my arm, nobody can't steal it Smiley
It would probably be better if your key was kept secret (even in encrypted form) from others for as long as possible. It would be difficult (but not impossible) to figure out your passphraise to decrypt your key and since you would likely be locked up for some time an adversary would have a long time to try to guess/hash the passphraise.
146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Just got my circle invite. on: September 15, 2014, 10:33:59 PM
From what I read about their goals are, circle is suppose to make spending your bitcoin seamless and from the user's point of view just like sending money with paypal minus the fees, chargeback risk, and crazy rules. I believe they also actually allow people to fund their account with a credit card
147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obamacare in review on: September 01, 2014, 06:33:25 AM
...
You can't just give everybody in America $1 million dollars and say "everybody gets a Lamborghini" - it doesn't work that way.  Roll Eyes
Yes, you most certainly can give them all $1M dollars.

Whether those dollars will even buy a hamburger at that point is another question.
When you give everyone in america one of everything for free/below the market cost then the value of it will go down substantially (even if it is healthcare).
148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what dont you guys get about Snowden and the NSA? on: September 01, 2014, 06:31:44 AM
bitcoin and gpg (pretty good privacy) will fix it.

i don't see how the NSA issue has anything to do with right or left wing ideology.

it just has to do with privacy and the way that it is starting to errode. if the NSA has full capabilities to know every detail of our lives, don't you think it could easily fall into the wrong hands and set up for a state of totalitarianism? not just that, but if you have all the dirt on people, that gives you a shitload of power to fuck other people over.
PGP is not used widely enough nor is there is an independently verifiable way to verify someone's key when you have very good reason not to be trusting others.
149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: us is such idiot to hasten the demise of $ on: September 01, 2014, 06:29:27 AM
Russia has already dumped a large portion of its dollar holdings. This is when little Belgium bout US bonds for more than its GDP  Roll Eyes
Take a look at this (scroll down to "The Euroclear Hoax, or how Belgium acquired over $200bln in US Treasuries overnight"):
http://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2014/08/15/is-putin-part-of-nwo/

Russia is very weak economically and they depend heavily on the rest of the world to keep their economy stable. Anything that Russia does economically would be greatly outweighed by anything the US and europe does economically.

Russia is all but guaranteed to lose any kind of trade/economic war.
150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New evidence suggests Israel shelling of UN school was staged on: August 05, 2014, 11:52:18 PM
Now read the update on the articles you've posted as reference Hint: "No it wasn't".

It was proven with evidences that the attack did really happen, and UNRWA people were present when the attack happens, and being the UN representer in the Middle East or Ban ki Moon the general secretary of the UN condemned the attacks after checking all the factual evidence.
Not like it was the first refuge to be shelled anyway.
Even if the shelling of the school was not staged (I personally do not think it was), it is still a fact that the terrorists are keeping bombs, and rockets inside schools and hospitals so Israel looks bad when they attack places housing these war items.
151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why has the left wing abandoned Israel? on: August 05, 2014, 11:49:43 PM
On Monday Obama approved to send 225 million dollars in emergency aid to Israel.
This money is to help replenish the rockets they used in their "Iron Dome" defense system.
Do you guys think they will also use some of the money to replace rockets that they shot into Gaza to murder people?

Are you happy to see your tax dollars being spent in appropriate ways?

there was an episode on the daily show last week talking about how john kerry was urging a ceasfire (on both sides).. yet we are stocking israel with the weapons they are using to kill palestinians. that's why the U.S. has no right in policing other countries, because we enable them after all.
The Obama administration also banned flights to Israel as an attempt to strong-arm Israel into agreeing to a cease fire.
152  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real Life in Texas 70 miles north of the Border... on: August 05, 2014, 11:46:28 PM
The dead body on that article, are they being hunted down?

Probably not, it is more likely that they died from the heat and/or the "elements" while traveling. There are a lot of people that die every year trying to cross the border illegally.
153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it a bad decision to payoff mortgage early on: August 05, 2014, 11:44:56 PM
I would say it is not a bad decision. Paying off your mortgage, essentially gives you a 30 year guaranteed rate of return of your interest rate. It will also give you piece of mind that you will likely not lose your house to foreclosure if you were to lose your job or have another major financial setback (you could still lose it to tax foreclosure if you don't pay property taxes).
154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dystopian reality: GameStop taking your fingerprints when trading used games on: August 05, 2014, 11:42:15 PM
This is horrible, but it looks like they reversed it: http://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/08/04/gamestop-fingerprinting-philadelphia/

The article notes that pawnshops are required to take fingerprints, which is also interesting.
Gamestop is not quite the same as a pawnshop as AFAIK gamestop will only give you store credit while pawn shops will give you cash.

You can also get a lot more from a pawnshop then you can from gamestop.
155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israelis chanting “There’s no school tomorrow, there’s no children left in Gaza" on: August 05, 2014, 11:40:16 PM
This looks like FUD to me (aka propaganda). Palestine has made many of these types of videos praising the death of Jews, but to my knowledge Israel has not made these kind of videos, nor have they done what the OP is claiming.

It says this video is private. wtf

You can still download it with SMPlayer or something like that - it usually bypasses Youtube's limitations. But here's a better video (at least it offers more in the way of context): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pa9lTvEr32w (about 10 min long). It's probably good to stress that this doesn't represent the whole Israeli society, fortunately; but the sentiment seems widespread. So, don't be too quick to assume only Palestinians make these kinds of videos - Israelis are just as capable.

Even if the video is on youtube, it doesn't mean that it is real. As in was really created by Israelis. Palestine has long been very good at being a propaganda machine.
156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NSA, CIA, IRS, DHS, ATF, FBI, GCHQ, Federal Reserve, ISIS are the illuminati on: August 05, 2014, 11:34:42 PM
Germany rolls out surveillance-proof phone after NSA spying debacle
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbybHD30ais

The problem with these type of phone is that its software is not open source so programmers all over the world can verify that it is surveillance-proof.
I would doubt that this type of phone is actually surveillance proof, but raher "surveillance resistant" as the NSA has a lot of resources and a lot of smart employees. With advancing technology they can likely figure something out.
157  Other / Meta / Re: Update on: August 05, 2014, 11:15:22 PM

158  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [PrimeDice] Track Your Earnings! on: August 05, 2014, 11:12:17 PM
Is there a limit as to how many queries it can make per minute/second? If the forum is getting a lot of queries from the same IP address (the site) then  would it limit it similar to how it limits searches?

Blue Moon Beer. It is a very good ale.
160  Other / Off-topic / Re: Israel requires its citizens serve in military when they turn 18, 3 years for me on: July 27, 2014, 05:00:49 AM
Israel requires its citizens serve in military when they turn 18, 3 years for men and two years for women. why ?
They have the need for people to have to serve. The US used to have a draft that made most young men at the time serve in the military because we were at war.
