To be honest I find him to be one of the worst "Trolls" and "Manipulators" on this thread, intentionally or not.
I believe he causes more damage as the persona of the "worried shareholder" and "FUD" spreader than all of the other infamous accounts on here.
142  Economy / Securities / Re: Don't be the bag-holder! Sell me your ActiveMining shares! on: November 06, 2013, 09:52:07 AM

Thank you
I'll have a look at this Smiley

hey guys,

we've made a service that allows anyone to generate a proof-of-age certificate just like the one offered here with our coins for their own coins.

Just snap 2 shots (front and back) of a coin, upload them and then download the certificate (or have it printed and mailed to you by us).

here's the thread: [SERVICE] Roll your own Casascius Proof-of-Age Certificate

site is: http://certificates.0x0000.de

tell us what you think.

In regards to 2FA, I'd always recommend to anybody who asks to use the application Authy, it's available for both Android and iOS.

The main reason I first started using it was due to the fact it securely backs up your tokens from device to device as long as you retain the same telephone number.

145  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: October 21, 2013, 09:54:14 AM
how many devises have you successfully run with th pi? When I try to run my setup it crashes the pi every time. I have 57 erupters running on 10 d-link 7 hubs. All are connected to a Rosewill 10 port. It runs just fine on my Debian setup on cgminer.  I have been able to get one hub with 6 erupters working but no more then that.

Grab a copy of the latest pre release from;-

http://minepeon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=291

Use the default settings, so far I have been able to run 40 (that is all I have) stable.  It will be interesting to see if you can beat my record.

Neil

How about 64 USB Erupters + a BFL Jalapeno??

Added the jalapeno a couple days ago, but 64 are a star configuration to a single rhb-500 root hub, that root hub feeds the rPi (the white cable goes to the BFL Jalapeno).

That is a work of art  Grin

I was keen to see Septembers "profits", as has been done with the previous months.

That's alright.
Yesterday I'd checked what he'd previously said in regards to this which is why I remembered.

That's the thing, I'm not sure as the $1.4m was for the last quarter, whereby it was explicitly stated we'd have the sales figures for September on 15Oct.

I'm probably reading too much into it though and am just overly excited about the future of ActM.

Sorry that's not correct.
From my understanding the 3 month P&L was promised for the end of October.
Yesterday was simply Septembers sales figures.

almost nov. good news should start rolling out soon right?

Depends on your perspective.

Some might suggest that Ken failing to deliver on his promise of releasing a 3 month P&L and balance sheet yesterday means that he can't be trusted to keep his word in the future.

I, on the other hand, would settle for an apology and an explanation as to why he hasn't kept his word.

Yes you are right.  I was mistaken to mention P&L and balance sheet.  Apologies, I shouldn't post at 7am from work.  Embarrassed

So we are to assume that the $1.4M Ken mentioned the other day was in fact the Sep 15th announcement delivered early.

We already have the sale figures for the last couple of months somewhere in this thread some very simple subtraction should get you the answer to sept sales figures, if you can be bothered to search the thread, but from memory sept sales must be circa 1mill maybe a little over

Are you sure it's not 2 weeks?  Wink

I wanted to advertise it last week but held off until now as I didn't want my sale being tarnished with their "trademark"  Tongue

I don't believe that to be correct tbh.

My understanding is that it will be today:

Today's Dividends

Today's Dividend will be delayed until next Wednesday

This is due to the ongoing transfer of shares from BTC-TC to Bitfunder.  So, before dividends are paid out on Wednesday of next week all transfers of shares to bitfunder will have to be completed.  The dividend on Wednesday will be larger than normal and also we will start paying the dividend on Wednesday of each week.

"...will be delayed until next Wednesday"

Was posted on Friday. Next Wednesday may be referring to Oct 9th. Atleast that's how I take it.

In case anybody has missed this, Ken posted a reply to a question on the [VMC] Official Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion thread which I think is very positive and confident for both ActiveMining and VMC:

3) What happens if you cannot deliver my miner by October/November as stated on your website? Will I get a refund in this case?

Yes, we will give refunds if we can not deliver on time.

157  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: September 23, 2013, 04:12:29 PM
Sure, that is a possibility also.

I think BF for the immediate future is the best idea. At least it would join both the markets finally.

IMHO Havelock is a much better choice.

I'm not a big fan of Bitfunder either, but let's not complicate this at the moment. The important thing is to maintain liquidity, so immediately moving to Bitfunder makes the most sense as no setup is required.

Yes, these are my thoughts on this too.
158  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [VMC] Official Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion on: September 23, 2013, 02:15:14 PM
I have several questions regarding my order with you.

1) I noticed that you founded a company called "Virtual Mining" last year in Missouri, which was later closed by the authorities (https://www.sos.mo.gov/BusinessEntity/soskb/Corp.asp?3322736). Now there is another "Virtual Mining" company registered in Delaware, which also operates in Missouri, but with a different name (BTC Mining Corporation). Can you please shed some light on this, in particular why the authorities shut down your former "Virtual Mining" company?

Did not pay the required fee, as I did not need that company any longer.  Yes, since we are operating in Missouri, we had to file as a foreign corporation, but could not use the Virtual Mining name as it is taken.

2) On you website you state that "Fast-Hash" and "Gold Rush" are trademarks of your company. However, when checking with the US Patent and Trademark Office (http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/) I did not find any such trademarks registered by "Virtual Mining Corporation". Can you elaborate on this?

You get a Trademark by using it, then you can registered it at the uspto.gov, then it becomes a registered trademark.

3) What happens if you cannot deliver my miner by October/November as stated on your website? Will I get a refund in this case?

Yes, we will give refunds if we can not deliver on time.

That is a very good USP for VMC to have, it's really good to hear.
159  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: September 23, 2013, 11:11:19 AM
Just a quick note on the BTC-TC shutdown.

We will be looking into this problem today, and will post a solution later today.  All investors on BTC-TC should have their bitcoin address set.  Also, I would have a bitfunder account set up if you don't already have one.

On the ball, thank you Ken.

This would be a great time to show ActiveMinings forward thinking by being one of the first major securities to facilitate a working fix for its shareholders.
160  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: September 23, 2013, 07:53:05 AM
My take on this, is that it is entirely possible for Ken to transfer all Shares over to Bitfunder.
This is something I'm entirely sure he will have to do, and what I imagine every other Security will have to do.
There are too many shares and time involvement, I believe for him to turn this into a direct share like the AsicMiners ones.

I'm surprised at this announcement though.

Bitfunder is a good site, I personally prefer it over BTC-TC.
