staxxd I always enjoyed chatting with you, glad you have some kind of peace now with Zodiac.
I think the moderation tools are exemplary and I wish more sites would have tools like them. (Dooglus this site is worth checking out!) One of the reasons bitvest can be so generous, and I agree, it is by far the most generous site, is because mods have tools to stop abuse and, as evidenced by her being one, the mod family is pretty much open to most constructive and polite users. Mod actions are recorded, so while it is possible for a mod to go rogue and act opportunistically they wont be able to do so for long.
In short, the site is easily one of the best. The new feature of being able to show bets while still in chat is only the latest of many improvements with more still to come!

A coinbase article on the ETF suggested it was unlikely to be approved. Too bad, as it would really help the price of bitcoin. I agree, SEC really doesn't understand, and I think that's why they probably wont approve it. |

Everyone knew the Chinese volumes were inflated but it was hard to estimate by how much, now we know there was A LOT of hot air. This will help price discovery and hopefully make bitcoin even more legit in people's eyes.

Okay, so basic accusation is:
a. You assert you were promised a cut of the profits (5%, when the site picked up), then told it wasn't going to happen (when you asked about it two months ago), but assumed they were still going to take care of you ("so i figured that didn't mean me") and when they didn't you demanded 2.5 BTC.
b. Bitvest intentionally delays paying out winners in hopes they will continue gambling and lose back what they won.
I'm sorry you feel you were lied to. I can understand being upset by that, but it sounds like you really were not promised anything. When they didn't respond to your direct inquiry, that was a pretty good clue. They've never suggested that mods would be compensated other than a larger faucet, a point you made yourself many times in chat.
You did post a lot here for the site. As I said over in the bitvest thread I think you would have made more over time being a good vice admin than going this route. (And you can't take the moral high road here, because you were willing to not say anything for 2.5 BTC, if you really though delayed payments were intentional you should have spoken up right away. But you didn't, in fact you continued to refer people to bitvest.)
As far as the delay time, the site takes its cut "up front" it's a percentage of what players wager, not what they lose. The site doesn't care if players win or lose, that comes directly from investors, so I don't see a big incentive to delay payments to screw players. Not saying players don't sometimes wait on payments, I've tried to help players who are waiting for a payout get in touch with Zodiac, just pointing out the site doesn't have a big incentive to delay payments.
However, I like RHaver's idea about immediately debiting accounts.
You were often fun to chat with but your actions here don't make a lot of sense to me though. I hope you'll drop this.

Also wry you wouldn't know about the deal because it was offered once i became a vice-admin long before you where around.
I'm not sure if any other mods where offered the same deal but that's the deal i was offered.
I was there when you were made a vice admin, that position was created fairly recently. I'll wait for the official response before commenting on your main "announcement" thread, but I think you are making a very serious mistake. You would have made far more than 2.5 BTC over time being a good citizen there from contests, rain, and your 1000 refs!If it was your conscious that was bothering you about withdrawal speed, you sure did a great job hiding it for months constantly talking up the site and seeking referrals for it. This is so foolish I would be inclined to believe your BCT account has been hacked. |

Not sure what this is about, but can 100% confirm, mod positions are unpaid, always have been, no suggestion ever been made otherwise. Bitvest is a great site. |
