141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 8 on: December 13, 2019, 05:32:46 PM
It's been a while I guess, Never thought of having a vacation lol, actually I was to busy as of the moment because of the Charity and my examinations on school.
So this topic is just about the incident on some Gambling Platform, I wonder how you guys will react if you were on the same situation of the user involved.

So here's the thing...

What if you accidentally hit a max Bet, then you actually won that bet without knowing the rules, but as for the TC of the given platform, whatever and how high your bet is you can only win a specific amount and not the total amount you've been expecting.

Example:
For every $1 you can win $10
But you accidentally hit max and made a bet of $1000 but as for the condition/rules that you didn't know, you just won $1500...

So what will be your judgement and at the same time your reaction?

Too much of luck ruined the things which will be my first ever thought if I am in the situation.

I did read that thread from yahoo who won something about $11,000 but they paid only $2,000 as per the rule. But if it is their terms then we can't really do anything but if they consider about their reputation then they should paid the actual won amount and resolve the bug which happened on their system.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think Libra Coin will Win on: December 13, 2019, 04:46:23 PM
FYI,Mark Zuckerberg has regulatory issues on launching their project such as governments like USA and France has against that project maybe this will happen with the remaining governments as well so the launch will take too much time from now until that why not try any other untility coins which is something not controlled by anyone?

Why you are so much interested on Facebook's lira project when you don't even have an account there? Roll Eyes

In my opinion, @OP looks more at the opportunity side, as we know that Mark Zuckerberg has appeal in every platform he has developed and so far his platform has been a huge success. I'm sure @OP also thinks of opportunities like Mark Zuckerberg did, although Libra is still faced with regulatory issues, but I'm sure when Libra is able to overcome it all, soon this coin will develop rapidly.
Any business could bring income to the governments that is why they allowing anything from ig companies but when something could affect their soverign currencies then the oppse will stay here until Mark could become their president. Wink
Thinking is very good, especially based on the fact that it supports. Indeed I see for the development of Libra the coin continues to progress. And I think it is the underlying you think so. So it will be very good by giving positive pecan. To be a winner should Libra coin continue to improve its development and increase its ability to compete with other coins that are still above Libra coin. So keep the spirit and expand all its abilities.
Moreover libra project will be a stable coin project so I don't think it will really make attention among the investors who are existing now,but if Libra comes more institutional investors will start to arrive crypto space.

144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: December 13, 2019, 09:52:48 AM
Resolving any issues if occurs could be the most important factor for online gambling sites then only they can sustain their reputation because even most reputed site has accusations but they managed to clear the things by paying back if the fault is on their side.

Good interface is the next, don't make the things annoying keep the features simple and clean to attract more gamblers.

146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make big profits from exchanging bitcoin to altcoins on: December 13, 2019, 05:16:57 AM
So, you are a member of a pump and dump group who manipulating the price of altcoins and then shill your group here to attract members to join you and at the end the only one gaining here is you and not the members.

This is actually an old strategy, I mean traders tend to know how to trade and earn profits by exchanging btc to altcoins and vice versa. And this kind of schemes eventually been known by many thus they are already avoiding this kind of act  as it was just profitable at first then will convince you to upgrade your membership and at thr end, will give you wrong signal and infos.
These kind of groups will target low market cap coins so they can manipulate the prices but it involves lot of money and chances of making profit is also unclear so I won't suggest any groups which are dumping and bumping even if it gives legitimate signals.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: December 12, 2019, 08:38:23 PM
I found this interesting article about the current gaming industry on the blockchain, what do you think about the gaming industry currently on the blockchain and do you think it will evolve and have a future? Or is blockchain not really for gaming? If you want to read the article, you can read it on the link below.

https://www.publish0x.com/interesting-crypto-projects/games-blockchain-2019-xdqjjz?a=GELe3POa69

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!
Blockchain games are not popular yet but its good way to make some cryptos while doing gaming activities. It will not give you huge amount of coins like mining so one who want to make cryptos should choose mining or trading, blockchain games for fun purpose and make some incentives while doing it.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold and Crypto on: December 12, 2019, 08:06:40 PM
Hi PEPs I am here to talk about GOLD. The valuable metal has been utilized by various developments and it has helped people to store an incentive during times of financial vulnerability. The fundamental inquiry is whether Bitcoin (BTC) will ever have the option to turn into a comparative resource for ensure clients' worth or other Coins that claimed to be backed by real gold can actually live up to that standard? willing to hear from you guys
Gold is something existing for limited quantity that is why the value of it stays contant.Bitcoin is something similar to gold due to its value coming from the demand and supply but we can't say both are same due to the availability quantity.Backed up currencies of gold is kind of lie because we can't be assured that the value is real so skip those useless tokens and invest on something real like bitcoin.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: December 12, 2019, 05:14:15 PM
Hello, I would like to know which projects have really achieved their goals after an ICO/IEO/ITO. Is there a page or statistics about it?
Checking their official site and road map will gives you what they are currently doing and what they are supposed to do.But price is also an important factor for a project should considered as successful,at least it should be near their ICO price in this bear market or it won't survive too longer in this bear market.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will binance reach $23 as per experts prediction? on: December 12, 2019, 03:56:02 PM
Did you know?

According to experts, their is huge possibility that the token will recover to the value of $23 in the best case scenario.

 https://coinpedia.org/information/bnb-binance-coin-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?
Experts and predictions in cryptos has not that much accuracy but if you are talking about BNB then yes its possible to happen due to its increasing adoption from the traders.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 12, 2019, 07:44:18 AM
The fear of dumping often makes the project team fear or avoid the payment of hunters until sometimes after the exchange listing. I wonder why the team make themselves restless on an easy thing like that when they can easily conduct their bounty with bitcoin or ethereum for payment. That will safe them of the fear that the bounty hunter will dump after the exchange listing.
Bounty allocations are in millions for most of the bounty campaigns, imagine if they are going to pay with the real money it will be huge amount to be honest for advertising and projects can't afford it so they are giving nothing other than their tokens.
152  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: December 12, 2019, 06:02:31 AM
I think having a community manager is one of the big costs of many casinos and mintdice never required it because theskillzdatklls (lol) never let us be and he helped us out all the time, we don't really know what costs they have in staff, we know there must be some costs technologically of course but we don't know who is in the team and how much people are paid and what other casinos pay to compare neither however at the same time we all know that they have been doing marketing properly so far, they have been doing proper games as well, they have been doing whatever they have done properly which shows how legit they are.

There is no way we can't trust and like mintdice because they have done more for their community than any other casino I have ever seen.
I feel like affiliate marketer is investing something more valuable than money, they are investing time. Time is not something you could make back, spending 20-30 hours to get more affiliates and earn money equals to your life having 20-30 less hours you didn't do something you enjoyed, if we all had millions of dollars in our bank account, not too rich to become billionaires and be super busy with stuff all the time but rich enough (like 4 million dollars in savings account, all liquid assets) to not care we would all spend our times enjoying life instead of working and do stuff we want to do instead of we have to do, so that 20-30 hours is not possible to make back.

If you invest money and lose, worst case scenario you could make it back some other way, but you can never take your time back so I feel like affiliate marketers are doing something much more important.
Still they are doing it for money by investing their time rather than money as their capital.Affiliate marketing is kind of smart marketing strategies because they are not going to pay anything from their pockets they are only giving small part from the total profits. If there is no profit for the house the marketer also will not get anything.Agree that time is important but when we don't have money we have to find an alternative source which is the time. 153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginner needs advice for portfolio on: December 12, 2019, 05:50:33 AM
Hi everyone im new to investing in crypto.
I have informed myself quiet a bit in the last weeks and constructed a portfolio with 10 coins / tokens.
Since most coins are way under their average worth i bet on a big rise at least to their old average or maybe to their last ATH.

This would be the portfolio:

1. Bitcoin
2. Ethereum
3. Ripple
4. LiteCoin
5. Cardano
6. IOTA
7. TEZOS
8. ChainLink

For the last 2 Coins to complete the portfolio i need your help.
I thought about those coins:

1. EOS (because China)
2. TRON (because China)
3. Waves (Russia)
4. VeChain
5. Steem (Very low atm compared to average / ATH)
6. Energi

Since i only want to include 10 cryptos for reasons of simplicity i dont want to inlcude them all.

I am not a day trader. I want to hold the coins wait for old ATH or new ATHs and then sell.

I am really interested in your opinion. Thanks in advance.
Take out ripple and add EOS,TRON and Steem on your list by that you made a portfolio with most best cryptos available and also the diversification is important when you have too much coins onto your portfolio.I would suggest hold more than 70% as bitcoin then diversify on the remaining coins.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider gambling to be a "fun activity"? on: December 11, 2019, 09:47:52 PM
Do you feel fun when you lose $100?
What about losing $1000 or $10000 when you gamble? Does it make you feel it was all fun?

I see many posters here in this Gambling Discussion forum claiming (usually with broken English) that gambling is fun, that there is no pain nor suffering when you lose money... because it's all fun, it's great, the best thing in the world ....

So I'd like to ask you honestly - how is it "fun" when you lose money? What makes it fun - the prediction of what's gonna happen next? The winnings make it fun? But no one can win 100% of the times, right? (except for the house)

I'd love to see one of those posters explain to me, rationally, how exactly they perceive it to be fun? Please try to explain yourself rationally (with broken English if necessary).

Playing casino games or any kind of bets which has unpredictability on the results which makes us more excited than anything in this world will make the gambling as fun thing but when we are losing more money what we can afford then it is not definitely a fun.

So if you will be felt broken when you lose $1000 dollars while gambling then you should spend less money which will not make you think about that loss in future, the amount will be depends on how much the person who is going to gamble was earning.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STPT Huge 12% Price Spike Today on: December 11, 2019, 08:42:13 PM
Daily trading volume of STPT is just about 50BTC means it can be easily manipulated,Don't trust any coins price movement as real when they have less than 1000 BTC trading volume in the last 24 hours.Even 12% is not something huge which happens any day even if there is no implement related to that coin.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 11, 2019, 06:01:12 PM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

Most of the investors starts to invest on a project when someone convince them it as a good project to invest but we don't have to trust anyone even someone close to you can convince and make to you to invest your real money.Visit B&H section where you can find lot of guides regarding research about new crypto project which could help any newbies who lacks that knowledge.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Crypto Trading Tools Are You Using? on: December 11, 2019, 01:54:32 PM
I think as a beginner/newbie in trading cryptocurrencies, we ought to have some platforms, guide or something that can help us in our trading activities. Some of my friends and colleagues said that I should look into trading tools or the likes of it. Like this MintFlint that they are recommending to see. But I dont think I can manage to know how to use those platforms and it looks really dumb to begin with. What do you guys think? Should I? And if I should, what do you guys recommend?...
Trading view could be enough for any kind of trader unless they are looking for a bot to automate their trading activities other than this I don't really recommend any tools for beginner because scammers will use any trickes to sneak your account when you are installing random tools and login to your trading account.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet is best for ERC20 tokens? on: December 11, 2019, 09:47:50 AM
It is good if it is web based, i.e. similar to blockchain.com. Otherwise, installation makes it machine dependent. Its not a BIG sum. So, high security is not a priority. Ease of use is what I am looking for. Needs to work with all kind of ERC20.
Blockchain.com doesn't support tokens, so you will lose your tokens if you are using address from blockchain wallet.

MEW will be the better for token storage due to high security and free of cost.

Trust Wallet is a multi coin wallet which also supports ERC20 and BEP2 tokens so worth trying.

Building reputation is one sign of a legit site but even for that marketing is needed so they are spending what they can afford for it.But as a player just see the experience while gambling then you will feel better compared to most other sites.

If it is done by US then why the sources are in Chinese (I guess).Libra's wave is over we need something new FUD to distract or attract the investors.
