141  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Upgrade to 0.8.1. not working, coins missing, huge memory consumption on: April 12, 2013, 03:40:34 PM
OK, looks like I will be going via the dumpprivkey/importprivkey way.

Test migration worked well:
 Step 1:  listaccounts
Step 2:  getaddressesbyaccount for each account of step 1
Step 3: dumpprivkey for each address from step 2
Step 4: install new bitcoind daemon, delete old wallet
Step 5: start daemon, import all private keys
Stope 6: stop deamon, start daemon with -rescan

All coins are there. Perfect. Only thing missing for me to validate is that all addresses are mached to the correct account names (as I use those for double checking deposits).

All in all migrated ~10,000 private keys:   Import priv keys took 5 Minutes, rescan took 30 Minutes (on a computer with a SSD card).

We will put the stop order back online after the HW upgrades are completed and the performance of the Stoporder feature optimized.
143  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Vircurex.com - Buy and sell Bitcoins with Liberty Reserve USD and EUR on: April 10, 2013, 11:21:59 AM
correct. we are working with aurumxchange to fix the issue.
144  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: April 09, 2013, 03:08:36 PM
VouchX service is being reinstated, it had been disconnected during our outage out of security concerns, we will announce once it is up and running again.

PS: the number formating should be fixed now, the only display issue left is the GMT times in the order book. This will also be addressed in the coming day.

We have been flooded with inquiries why withdrawn or deposited TRC are not showing up anywhere on the network. This is due to the fact that the TRC network has come almost to a standstill, blocks are only found one every many hours. In addition as everyone is pushing transactions, obviously not all make it into those rarely found blocks. There is absolutely no point in withdrawing or depositing TRC at this point in time. We will keep you updated.
146  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: April 09, 2013, 02:17:45 AM
Ofcourse, the LTC are way to high, we will change it later today to .1 and the DVC to 15.

please check this again. cant be a caching issue.

Do you run a smaller screen resolution?  If yes, scroll all the way down (alternatively zoom out / reduce font size).

With many users contacting us about IXC, we have decided to put it up again,  BUT please remember there is no source code maintenance being done on this chain, USE AT OWN RISK, if the chain breaks, ultimately all coins are lost.

mmpool.bitparking.com will soon be reactivating the merged mining that there should be sufficient network hashing power to get those incoming and outgoing transactions posted again.

Vircurex is already online since 14:00 GMT 7th April.

Update:
 - API has been reactivated
 - Language display errors have been fixed
150  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: April 07, 2013, 05:04:41 PM
Check your coin daemons, they don't seem to be registering my deposits.

Which currency?  IXC?  Well, if noone is mining it, then there are no block to confirm -> no deposits possible.
151  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: April 07, 2013, 05:03:34 PM
Though the reasons for discontinuing of SC and IXC came very abrupt, this decision did not come easy. As we were working on addressing upgrading the infrastructure to larger and newer operating systems it became apparent, that those two chains had little if any support at all when it comes to source code maintenance.  Both chains had been not receiving any development support for ages and all of us providing support for these chains had been running a consistent and measurable risk in doing so. We as an Exchange have an obligation to protect our overall customers, and as such sometimes need to take decisions that might conflict with the interset of an individual.

Should you be interested and willing to run a BTC/IXC or a BTC/SC exchange, let me know, I'll be more than willing to help set it up.

All the caching we have implemented might have the one or other glitch. Our apologies, we are working on fixing it.
153  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: April 07, 2013, 04:27:51 PM
We'll investigate.
154  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: April 07, 2013, 03:19:31 PM
Dear users, our apologies for the wrong language displays, we have had like 36 hours nonstop coding changes, and tons of pressure to get this site up and running again ASAP. Our testing might have overseen the one or other item (e.g. the language issue, its identified and will be fixed soon).  No worries, all coding changes are only related to display information, we have not touched the trading engine, thus any display issue are only of "cosmetic" nature.
155  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] Vircurex (VCX) - Request for Vote - Dividend Payment Proposal on: April 07, 2013, 01:52:56 PM
This is a vote, I (the 70% of the shares) am not entitled to vote in this case. I have clearly outlined that only the dividend entitled shares (the 30% that were sold) are entitled to vote, hence the people who receive the dividends will get to say what they think about this deal. They are the ones affected by this proposal. Its a proposal only at this point in time unless they majority agree.

BTW, if your initial business plan says we will make around 10+ BTC profit a month in the near future and then whooha, we make 100+ profit with an outlook of even more then the conditions have changed dramatically thus I believe shareholders should be able to raise their voice on how they want to deal with the new situation.

Site open for trading again.

157  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: April 06, 2013, 04:18:03 PM
We will reopen the trading platform on Sunday around 14:00 GMT. We have made substantial coding changes in the past day and need some more time to test it.
158  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: April 06, 2013, 01:49:10 PM

 - All the coins are save
