141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Newbie? on: May 13, 2019, 08:28:41 AM
This is not the end for beginners to get tokens from social media campaigns that you might follow, my advice is that you should first check the projects you want to follow, make sure they have a good work map and experienced teams.
Newbies might not have experienced much loss as compared to those who started in the early time because they had not enough experience and now the current market new comers have all the experience left by the experienced ones. Newbies are now more efficient than the existing investors and traders about the new projects because they have learned more techniques and the old investors do not have much idea about newly launched projects in the beginning but newbies are efficient in exploration.
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now a stable coin? on: May 13, 2019, 07:57:34 AM
Pls guys any recommendations on ways forward as regard bitcoin trading?...the coin seem to me now as Tether (USDT )...lol

at this moment i think so. bitcoin is now much stable coin than last years. last year people thought it's over for bitcoin but we all know bitcoin didn't come for gone. now after couple of correction bitcoin too much stable than ever. people start invest on bitcoin and market going in green again.
But it is not a coin like USDT. Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is showing steady growth this year than the 2018 which doesn't mean it is a stable coin it is the better coin.
It's a better one compared to any available cryptos, it isn't stable even we are seeing small movements, the market is always an opportunity insides the investors minds, take advantage of flat movements as you won't be able to see it back when the bull begins to rush out and run strongly inside the market.
Now the small movements seem big as recently there the Bitcoin value appeared on the search engines by 10% growth. This is a moment of excitement for traders who decided to buy the previous months are now in profit while those who were in small loss are now in fine profit as well. It comes are a result by holding your coins and it must be happening much more in the upcoming days too so keep holding it.
143  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 13, 2019, 07:24:50 AM

Huge haul by hackers and this once again highlights the wisdom of the "not your keys not your crypto" saying.

Thankfully in this incident, Binance has stated they will cover all losses.

Quote
Binance will use the #SAFU fund to cover this incident in full. No user funds will be affected.

Exchanges are vast stores of crypto so are natural targets by hackers. Don't ever leave your funds on there. If an exchange like Binance can be hacked, it speaks volumes about the ability of hackers to penetrate other exchanges.

Stay safe.

This had been what have is trending for the past few days, everybody is wondering how to biggest and most secured exchange in the world could be hacked and 7000 btc stolen without them figuring out until the deed as been done. This really speaks bad of the crypto space because a lot of persons who wants to come onboard and here this kind of news would love to withdraw immediately in order not to end up losing his/her funds to scammers, I think exchanges need to take the security of their platforms seriously.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your definition of shitcoin? on: May 13, 2019, 06:49:47 AM
What actually defines a shit coin?  The continuous price decrease after listing on an exchange with actual working products in real life or a stable price and a minimal increase in price but lacking real life working products?
Well it depends on the project of the coin you are referring too, you can just call a coin shitcoin because it keeps on decreasing in price on the exchange, decrease in price can actually be caused by different factors which includes having much supply in the market than the demand for the coin, or giving out a lot of coin during airdrop, what you would check to know if a coin is a shitcoin is the project that coin was to serve, if there is no project then no value can be created, and once there is no value, the coin is useless.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Negocie Coins Exchange on: May 13, 2019, 06:11:52 AM
How many times have you be warned no to use or invest in IEOs from new exchanges? 90% of new exchanges are dangerous ,they are just trying to lure traders with fake volumes all over ,be very careful
People don't like to listen to advice until they have falled victim, we have been singing it for months now that the only way scammers could come into the IEO space is by creating an exchange promising a lot of features and security, especially now that we are seeing hacks on exchanges everyday, they use that advantage to take you to their platform and rip you off your cash all in the name of IEO, so please let's be very careful.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen To Ethereum Price in 2019? on: May 13, 2019, 05:29:19 AM
The rebound by cryptocurrencies across the board since the beginning of Q2 2019 has continued. Paying attention to the significant surge in ETH price in the last few days reveals that the second ranked cryptocurrency registered an 8% rise in value in the last seven day. This has motivated participants in the crypto market to ask the question: What will happen to Ethereum price in 2019.
Read more here : https://www.cryptofish.com/blog/what-will-happen-to-ethereum-price-in-2019/
Well, we can't say much for the price of ETH since the bull run in the Crypto market has only been focused on bitcoin which is a bit strange because once we see bull run like this, it always affects at least the first 10 coins in the market, I don't really know why we are seeing a moon in bitcoin and not other coins but I believe that ethereum will join the move too and holders will soon smile.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen to ethereum in this bullrun? on: May 11, 2019, 10:22:46 AM
bitcoin has gone up to $6200, but why is ethereum still stagnant at $170. Does this mean that ethereum won't rise again?. I was thinking of buying ethereum but if I look at it like this I might cancel it.

does this mean that ethereum will be one of the altcoins that won't rise in the bullrun this time?
I believe so much that the price of ethereum will rise again though it might take a while because a lot of persons are confused due to the current challenges it's Blockchain is facing, though the team behind ethereum said they are working on something big that might be able to solve the problem of scalability of the Blockchain, so let's hope for the best and then possibly we would see a moon in price of ethereum, event is one thing that cause a spike in the price of a coin, people are just waiting for the right signal.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: May 11, 2019, 09:08:26 AM
I'm interest in trading and I want to know more about it. So please give me your valuable ideas and opinions. As a beginner I would like to know that Is there any special ways to do trading without losses or in a manner which minimize the losses. Not only that please tell me Is it possible to start trading with a small amount of money at the beginning.
Hope you will help me.
Thank you. Smiley Smiley
It's great that you want to learn about the trading but as I always said it is not an easy thing. You have to more patient to understand how does the thing work while trading. As a beginner, you have to start trading with smaller funds which will help you go get a deep understanding of the trading.

And starting with small amounts can become a beneficial move for you to not lose a bigger amount in trees. Sometimes people with higher amount of loss cannot try the trading again. So it has been so clear to trade with small funds until you will become experience trader. Also, don't be emotional while trading otherwise you will ruined. I hope this thing will help to start trading.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Binance have been compromised. on: May 11, 2019, 07:49:03 AM
Decentralized exchanges is the best for now, deex is also cool but there are alot of issues with their volume, probably later if they get to fixed that, they can also make their own fame but currently nothing like decentralized exchanges.
Changes are good but they take place very slowly and this is how things would go in the crypto market. The fact that Binance will cover the losses face by users will make people forget about or care less about the hack thing. But I think Binance will come back with the strong security system to make sure things like these never happen again. Decentralized exchanges are the best but you do not get things purely decentralized.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan as the Next Big Destination for iGaming Operators? on: May 11, 2019, 07:18:08 AM
I'm not Japanese but let me just share my thoughts. It's very weird that the Japanese government suddenly made a U-turn regarding their tough laws against gambling, it's a criminal offense as far as I know. Neighboring countries like Macau and even the Philippines and Singapore is the destination if you wanted to play on casino's on the Asian region so it really surprises me to see that they are now opening their doors.

That will not be a good decision by the Japanese government to ban the gambling or consider it as an criminal activity and due to online availability of gambling, it will be difficult to ban in it completely.

I am not from Japan but definitely, I can say that Japanese people are one of the most kind and disciplined individuals. They will kill themselves if they are caught with wrongful acts. So corruption is not really a problem in that country where iGaming industry is known to have that long-running problem. I believe, they will do the right things when it comes to handling this business.

Well, Japanese are people who do abide by the rules and regulations of the countries and if gambling will be banned, they will not use illegal ways to play gambling.
Well you are right. Gambling being illegal in Japan would not attract many hard rockers but I think people who badly want to gamble find ways out to gamble. Like RACE in sports is something you could gamble or bet on and there are I think four kinds of races run and gambled on in Japan prominent among which is Horse racing. Yeah there might be local casinos as well.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: May 11, 2019, 06:12:35 AM
Business is business so in crypto world we need to take the risk of it for joining lot of ico at this time. Many of them are legit project and many of them also is scamming people around here.

I prefer a lot of scams than legitimate ones. like looking for wheat in a pile of needles that makes your hand take it. Try to think again for this year, there are many that you don't want or expect.
You are right, like a box full of sharp pins only for those who are not good at finding legitimate and genuine sources or new projects.Technicalities exist in the crypto market and that is the reason only professionals and good learners can generate profit while others will always take risks. The conclusion is that there is no risk as long as you are with a crypto coin of long term trusted store of value but make sure you are a good controller as well.
152  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Has Been Hacked - Lost 7,074 BTC on: May 11, 2019, 05:50:38 AM
The loss of 7.074 BTC is not a problem for such top exchanges as Binance, but this is another confirmation that your funds on any exchange can not be safe.
But still 7k BTC is a huge loss. Big exchange such as Binance shouldn't let that happen, I mean they have to increase their security because in 2018 there was also the same accident with hacked stuff. If they don't do anything, then worse case would be happen in the future.
Exactly, it is a huge loss and in such businesses each penny matters due to a lot of user potential. But as much I think, the exchange is not much sad due to the loss but the reputation has been effected. This issue needs to be resolved and the security should be improved to 2x that will help the exchange regain both its users and the loss it has made. Still Binance has potential users and they think that the exchange will regain its position again.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 10, 2019, 12:13:12 PM
A guy bought a very big house, which triggered an argument on a telegram group.
some people were arguing on a telegram group that they guy couldn't have bought the house with only trading profit....some insinuated that he must be into other businesses.
I laughed at their ignorance.
Why? Because I know that even in this present market condition that some skilled traders are making a killing.
I'm not talking about traders who trade with small capital here.
The conclusion is that when you trade with massive capital ,you earn massively.
We certainly have higher profits if we invest higher amounts in trading as the profits will always vary on the size of investments you are putting into. if any of the individual is investing more than his earnings+savings into trading then that specific individual is taking huge risk but by any chance if he gets his predictions correct then you can imagine how rich he might be turning. There is a lot of risk even though as loosing the un-affordable amount is never a great idea and can mentality and financially disturb our mindsets. Also the budget would get spoiled if the money from savings is lost so the ones who invest such higher amounts are mostly bigger players and buying a house might not be that shocking for them.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Skam or a way to make money? on: May 10, 2019, 11:37:44 AM
you should always be alert and diversify your assets. One of other concepts is to develop your own strategy and stick to it - then you will have the opportunity to earn on cryptocurrency.
I do not think this is the direction of the market \ investment scam

for some reason I have the impression that the replacement of altcoin will primarily depend on the existing connectors of the cryptocurrency market, and the prices for autogenous will be determined by the degree of development of the project and the degree of professionalism of the team.  Based on this, I consider investments in new projects, but only those that pass through IEO.
Well to be honest, you will always have people like those around who would neither use a thing themselves and would spread negative things about crypto. It is only you who need to decide what is going on. Either you are in the game or you are out of the game.  Simple is that. Plus it is what you do with it. You can make money with your coin, save value or gamble with them.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Article: BTC bubbles repeat, but much higher ? on: May 10, 2019, 11:05:41 AM
Gday all,

Some time ago, I read an interesting article that showed how each of the BTC bubbles followed a similar well-known pattern :

The point was, each BTC peak was way higher than the previous one - like orders of magnitude higher.

IIRC:
First peak went to a few cents,
2nd peak went to a few dollars,
3rd peak was quite a few dollars,
last peak was $20,000.

But each followed the same bubble pattern, just at different scales.

I cannot seem to find it now, hoping some knowledgeable reader can recall that specific article ?
Maybe that's why some posters predict the next peak ?

Kapyong
We are definitely going to see a bubble in the price of bitcoin starting from next year, the bubble this time is going to be very massive and we might see the price of bitcoin getting to $100,000, especially when we have begin to see the economic crisis happen in so many countries of the world, we should be happy and celebrate that we were able to have patience in the crypto market and waited for the correction to occur without giving up in the crypto market, and now we are going to see a massive bull run in price.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kitcoin - Sophisticated Global Payment & Ecommerce Ecosystem on: May 10, 2019, 10:30:33 AM
Hi,

Thanks for your comment, I understand your frustration with the current crypto project landscape. First of all this project did and does not conduct any ICO, we are not taking money from investors. Second KTC does already have some adoption and users trust it, there is quite a big community of over 50,000 members currently, mostly Chinese. You can go shopping with KTC on www.bibo.market, please have a look and let us know your impressions.

Kind regards,
Weiyun
Wow, I never knew about this, and I think i'm getting interested in the project already, I believe that we should stop focusing on just the price of a coin because it could be deceiving sometimes and we should start focusing on the project itself and what it has to offer to the crypto space then buy into it as long as it is a project with great potential. I have been part of those focusing all the time on the price of the coin all the time after hitting the exchange, but I believe now that what is so important is the project and not coin price.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quarkchain Help needed. Super massive losses. Please suggest on: May 10, 2019, 09:54:50 AM
Hello During main net hype  i bought quarkchain worth 5 btc. I didnt realise what was happening then and now. The market for qkc has come to lowest at sitting at 330 sats. I bought at 1100 sats. I literally have no clue on what shall i do. Please requesting help on this. Please teach what can be done ?
Wow, are you a newbie to the crypto space or no one told you how crypto works before making investment, this is what I am talking about when I say people are been giving wrong orientation to what crypto is all about and this keep sickening me, I don't think there is anyway for you to get back your funds until that coin see a rise in price back to 1100 sats which might be unlikely if they don't have any real life value to which the project could exist even after entering the exchange, this is why one needs to study a project closely before making investment.
158  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Has Been Hacked - Lost 7,074 BTC on: May 10, 2019, 08:35:00 AM
From the same link you posted above:

Quote
Binance will use the #SAFU fund to cover this incident in full. No user funds will be affected.
I am hearing this word SAFU and I don't actually know its meaning. Is it just safe or is there a meaning behind that?
Having funds safe on this exchange, means that even though it become vulnerable to hacks, the funds of users still survives. This change my idea on that exchange.
SAFU may be like bitcoin insurance, with that they can replace leaks that occur on their exchangers, and do not affect members. but, I heard that it made the binance need to hold the WD / Deposit for 1 week. well, this might be really difficult even for companies like binance.
Of course man any company would find it very hard to deal with such a big hack that claimed more than 7000 Bitcoins worth more than $40 million. Binance is a great exchange and they are proving it again that it should be the exchange you should be part of. The security system of course is still a mater of concern but I feel they will work over it. This hack proved that a human can decode or undo anything another human codes.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: May 10, 2019, 08:32:51 AM
Is it possible to spend daily expenditure by gambling money? I think this is not possible. If you play gambling, the loss is more than profit. But yes, many people can play gambling very well and they can earn a lot of profit. But I would say gambling is never a profession. So it is better not to earn money by playing gambling. Gambling should play just for fun. You should not spend your pocket money with gambling money.

Thank you
Do not consider gambling as an income and do not use daily money to be used as capital to play gambling. When we use daily money then it is a setback. Use residual money to be used as entertainment because when we play comfortably and full of pleasure we will get incomparable satisfaction.
It is actually a very terrible idea to rely on the income from gambling for your needs. TBH, everything that has an element of uncertainty should not be something you should rely on. You need to be stable enough to have a constant source of income and some money in your bank account before you get yourself into gambling. That way, you would enjoy gambling and might occasionally win the table as well.
Yes the crypto market is not affected due to the hack of Binance and a theft of more than 7000 Bitcoins. The coins still stay in the crypto channels, not all in a single wallet but might be apportioned into numerous wallets. If they can hack Binance, they can also take care of the withdrawal keep no doubt. But this has proved than even the best exchange out there need to be alert and shielded.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to buy altcoins on: May 10, 2019, 07:58:28 AM
No need to buy any altcoins now. Bitcoin domination could grow to 70 percent in the near future. But this is my opinion, I personally adhere to this strategy, that is, I keep Bitcoin.
Keeping Bitcoin is a good strategy but it does not mean that altcoin have gone out of business. There is still great rise expected due to the bull market and that is enough motivation why should people buy altcoin. ETH and Bitcoin cash are going up. Binance Coin might gain value. Little profits are better than making nothing but of course HODLING Bitcoin is the best strategy.
