141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: September 13, 2018, 05:08:50 PM
Do you have a preference for collecting tokens instead of selling them?
Currently in my wallet there are more than 200 tokens with different values and I do not sell them every time it is listed. I keep them and watch them every day. I was fascinated by the fact that there were many tokens in my wallet and not paying attention to their price.
Do you think this is a crazy hobby?
In fact, I also had a similar situation last year. There, the number of coins reached up to 60 different species. But in the end I decided to sell somewhere around 30 coins to invest my money in the most promising areas.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: September 12, 2018, 03:54:40 PM
Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.

Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
Monero is a promising and popular coin with an open source code and an excellent potential for further development. I like the absolute confidentiality of transactions, while the project continues to actively improve its solutions and develop since its inception in 2014.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: September 10, 2018, 05:42:46 PM
My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?

EDIT:

I already knew the amount of money that I earned on this particular bounty. I think the money that I earned is actually good and enough for my waiting. i waited for about 8 months before they release. Actually it is already in my wallet but the token is not listed yet so I can't know for sure the actual price of the token.
It should be understood that almost always with the participation in the bounty program the amount of compensation received depends on the total number of participants and some additional factors. Usually - the longer the bounty lasts, the more participants become, and the reward for each of them will be less.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2000 Ripple or 5000 Cardano? on: September 10, 2018, 05:42:25 PM
I want to give a friend a cryptocurrency for his birthday, but I can't decide which one is better. I have 5000 cardano and 2000 ripple. Tell me that it is better to leave to keep?
In fact, it is difficult to make any unequivocal choice between these two coins. After all, I continue to believe that in the future both coins have a good potential for further development in the crypto market and a gradual rise in price. I probably spent 60% of my money on Cardano, and the remaining 40% on investment in Ripple.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you research altcoins? on: September 08, 2018, 07:00:12 AM
How do you research altcoins to invest in? I'm talking about legit/long term investing in projects that have real potential to become something that creates value.

How do you find the coins you're looking for?

What are your go to tools?
I am always especially responsible for choosing a good project with excellent potential. To start, I study a lot of information about specific altcoins on the Internet and on thematic resources. Then I study the data about the developers, the finished product and the strategy for the development of a certain crypto currency. workers, the availability of a finished product and a development strategy.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: September 06, 2018, 05:34:20 PM
Of course too early to invest in the cryptocurrency was more profitable than it is now. But nobody said that the growth of the cryptocurrency has stopped
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ready to bounce back? on: September 05, 2018, 03:41:33 PM
Found some technical analysis taken on ethereum and with the report, it is looking real good as it seems ETH has prepared to take on the train and prove itself once more that it is th king of alts. Well, lets hope the TA becomes real and we see our dearly ETH come up once again.
Ethereum prices are currently falling, but I think this situation is temporary. Gradually, Eth positions are stabilized, after which he will begin to show his growth. Personally, I decided to buy Eth in addition, while the price remains low - since the end of this year, we can observe the growth of value.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: September 05, 2018, 03:41:06 PM
Market is fluctuating today a lot . But I hope it will not continue. So I am applying HODL at this moment.
What is your policy at this current market volatility?
In my experience several years ago, I was convinced of the importance of calm and holding their coins. Indeed, after its fall, the market did not just recover, but also began rapid growth. I can assume that this time, too, there is such a probability. So do not hurry with selling your coins.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD BUY BITCOIN NOW? THE PRICE IS HIGH? on: September 05, 2018, 03:40:44 PM
Please tell me your opinion?
I'm sure that now is really a good time for a profitable and promising BTC purchase. Now there is a definite lull in the market, prices continued to fall. But I'm sure that now the BTC's value is nearing its minimum, recovery will begin next year. So you need to buy it. an effective solution. After all, in any case, forecasts can only be assumptions, no one can accurately predict the situation. But now I prefer to buy BTC.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: September 03, 2018, 12:36:57 PM
This is the Strategy I was following in crypto. This is the example.

buy coin 300A @1.00 = 300

Sell 150 @2.00 (Now you covered your initial investment(Excluding fee))
Sell 50 @3.00 = 150
Sell 50 @4.00 = 200
Keep remaining 50 for long term( If market is crashing you have to sell this proton immediately).

But this method can't apply if the market crash before it reaching to 2x. I would like to know the approaches/Strategies you are following and drawbacks of this method.
Of course, the market will sooner or later go up. I think that now you just need to wait a little bit and everything will be just great
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: September 03, 2018, 12:36:25 PM
Hello

anyone know good wallet to store Ethereum ?

Thank you!
Now the most popular wallets are MEW and MetaMask. For a long time, I chose the right option, but I decided to work with MEW. I liked the possibility of adding ERC20 tokens, customizing the commission, as well as improved protection with encrypted data and secret keys.vvvv
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now time to buy and hold altocoin? on: August 31, 2018, 02:21:39 PM
I think this time in mid-July is the right time to buy altocoin that has been popular .. to hold up its price rise .. because I observed already about 6 months bitcoin prices declined after the new year yesterday .. and now in the middle of the year when it will back up the bitcoin price.

What do you think?  is this a great time to buy altocoin?
I mostly work with Bitcoin, I'm absolutely sure - now is really the best time for a profitable purchase. In principle, it will always be profitable for BTC to invest, while the coin's value is cheaper than 7 thousand dollars. Also now, some of the money I invest in the purchase of NEO, Ethereum and LTC - I also believe in their potential.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin for year 2018 on: August 31, 2018, 02:21:19 PM
In the year 2017 so many Altcoin came into limelight . ETC, WAVE, STRATIS, DASH, ONION and many more Altcoin gained remarkable value. Let us guess Best Altcoins for year 2018?
I absolutely believe - as before, Ethereum still maintains leadership in this segment. I consider him to be the real king in the altcoins market with excellent prospects for further development. Excellent team of developers, good technology and all the chances for active development as the market of crypto is recovering.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: August 28, 2018, 06:05:40 AM
The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
I have always been lucky and I got exactly the amount I expected. Most likely you just choose the wrong projects to participate
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? on: August 28, 2018, 06:05:21 AM
Maybe such an issue has already been met, but I have not heard. What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? Is the success of this coin?
I would be happy because then the growth of such coins can be just incredible. This would also have a significant impact on the number of Facebook users
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: August 28, 2018, 06:05:07 AM
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
I'd be happy to sell it all at once. Such chances rarely fall out as such a large growth. I don't think that's gonna happen.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: August 26, 2018, 05:39:58 AM
The sale of ETH is a complex and responsible decision. In any case, you need to assess the situation, but do not sell more ETH. And now there are more promising coins than ADA.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am going to invest 10BTC to different altcoins on: August 23, 2018, 01:40:50 PM
A lot of money even in the downturn of the market. Treat your funds as carefully as possible and it is better not to waste everything
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is back ? is that good time to invest ? on: August 23, 2018, 01:40:28 PM
In the downturn, you always need to invest as it is a huge chance. If bitcoin has fallen now, it will grow later and everything will be just fine
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is the foundation on: August 23, 2018, 01:40:13 PM
I agree with you and it seems to me that this can not do without. I am sure that all who now earn millions on the crypto currency began with the study of the theory
