not to be negative, but it kinda sucks if byteball will come first to big exchange, then when IOTA will come, they will be like, "Yay, first clone!?"
Part of me will also be sad, but it is just stupid pride. The record states clearly that IOTA was the first DAG. Byteball is not even a competitor, they are doing something completely different (far less scope; many more limitations). I suspect we will not have to wait much longer for exchanges and the exposure that brings to the project. |

Why would anyone be buying Iotatokens when they can just run their own instance of Iota, for their own purpose?
As Iota is IoT, M2M oriented.
For instance, BWM could run it for their cars and sell access/data to others who want their data - and take a higher fee than just relying on your instance Iota?
Or any other purpose where you need M2M communication, you would run your own instance, and call it a day, why waste money buying something is is free anyway?
Because the IoT needs to be interoperable. Every corporation having their own network will not work. |

After 3 installs on 3 different computer and still getting 6000/6000 issues I've come to the end of my technical limits. Very frustrating and i hope there is a simpler solution coming soon. It's stressful with money on the line
Up your technical limits, you bought cutting edge IoT tech. Yes, this is 100% serious, I am getting quite tired of seeing how little effort certain people put into this, expecting to just 'one click' themselves through this without any effort whatsoever to actually understand the underlying tech or vision of the project. Hi, It's up to the limit already for me, with helps from Mark B at slack, pm from CFB (both are really helpful and kindly persons). I also sent email to iota support and pm to dominik at slack but got no result. I tried re claiming using gui wallet v2 and using nostalgia also but my iota is never arrived. I'm not a coder, just an ordinary user and this is what a community used for, to help each other. IMHO, why can iota provide static nodes so all of the user will be able to connect without being worry and keep asking for nodes at slack? I'm so agree that this is painful with money on the line.
