Hi, I was forced to take a break from development due to some urgent family affairs ... the immediate thing has been taken care off and while the root issue (grave illness of my mother) will probably resurface at a later date, I'm now back and devoting time to development again. At a discounted rate to the house, or between players where the house can take a small fee.
We've talked about this internally but basically it involves building something like an exchange. For this specific purpose it's not worth the effort. Not really. All it needs is a way in which raffle tickets can be transferred to a player. Add an option to allow Player to player transfer of raffle tickets. House can also take a very small fee on that.  Well yes, but for now the idea is on the backburner, we have other things to take care off once I return to development full force. But it's on the Todo list (along with many other things) |

Hi, I'm here but I'm having some personal stuff which I need to take care of. Specifically, my mother has been diagnosed with cancer and I've been travelling back and forth (we live in different countries) a few times to help her, talk to doctors, arrange care, etc. All of this is quite time consuming and taxing and next to my regular work, I haven't been able to spend any time on BB development other than the regular housekeeping, minor bug fixes, etc. However, hopefully the situation will return to more normal (relatively speaking) and I'll be able to resume BB development in earnest. |

Do you have any idea why I can't log with Seutjie's Bot with your api?
Must check box on account it say 'enable api' and press save button or api not access account. Must copy whole api key into seuntjie bot..... it work fine must be missing step.... I run bot daily. There same question on seuntjie thread bjorn post answer with picture it easy. Awesome! I'll try to be there, . Also, is the update going to affect the API, or is it fine to leave the bots running? External bots will be unaffected by the update. In theory (unless you're very unlucky with your timing) they should just keep running. The bot built into the website will have to be restarted since we force a page load on the website. |

Today we get ever closer to the 4-5 weeks that has so far elapsed in between each hacking & theft this summer, starting w/ late June, then last day of July, if this unfortunate pattern were to reproduce itself the next attack would take place between next week & the week after that ;/ I remember how many people kept telling me I was being paranoid, that since the one attack vector used in the June hack had been patched (tipping), every balance was perfectly safe again & there was no way those same losers would figure out a different vulnerability to exploit later on. Well sadly as we all witnessed the site and its attached MoneyPot wallet infrastructure did not turn out invulnerable, quite the contrary ;/ Now to ward off those buzzards who'll invariably come & get offended/attack me for making this post : No, I did not play nor have any balance in MoneyPot (It was elsewhere at the time) around July 31. And that is not a particularly fortunate occurence actually, because were it to have been stolen as well, there of course isn't the slightest shadow of a doubt Ryan & Bjorn would've promptly refunded it. This isn't the point. Point is, I was concerned the hackers would find another attack vector after they'd experienced how successful their June heist had been, regardless of the tipping vulnerability being patched quickly & securely. And I was correct. No later than 5 weeks after they managed to squirm their way into users' balances again ;/ Let us hope that this time, both MP & BB teams have truly taken the lesson to heart, and started prioritizing security over & beyond user convenience, marketing, and 'new features'.. I'm down to rock-bottom BTC net worth values atm, but am looking forward to returning to the very best dice casino ever made yet sometime in September once I've earned back my stupid losses, perhaps earn enough tickets to win the Sept. 30 BB Raffle ;p Again, this post is NOT to nag, just to reflect jointly on our shared history with what I consider a great overall experience since May 2015, thanks to the efforts of Bjorn, Lobos & Ryan. Keep up the good work & best of luck vs. those hacking, parasitic subhumans, guys <3 I appreciate your concerns. While I won't go into details, suffice it to say we paid our a 3 BTC bounty to someone who alerted us to a significant security vulnerability which we believe was used in the last/2nd attack. That hole has been plugged and a code review to find similar holes has been performed (with none found). We really tried hard to make the site secure from the get-go and the blame for the above mentioned vulnerability falls plainly on my shoulders. It was a combination of lazyness combined with a missing 1-line fix which would have prevented it. The sad truth is that coding is a complex business and as best as I try, I sometimes miss things even though I have many years of experience doing this stuff. Anyhow, lets hope the site now holds up and that we can grow the site into something which matches our aspirations. |
