141  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Nano - Stick Mining Fun! on: July 14, 2015, 03:27:58 PM
Avalon Nano has now been removed from product page. - https://ehash.com/

Now they seem to have focused on Avalon Mini - https://ehash.com/product/avalon4-mini/

It's like they went to the Apple school of naming stuff.

This isn't anything particular special and most competent people could do the exact same thing without the Itialian companies software as loing as they had remote access to the PC.

145  Economy / Gambling / Re: What percent of internet Bitcoin poker is Luck vs Skill? on: July 14, 2015, 03:01:56 PM
I vote for Poker is 50% Luck, 50% Skill.
I believe that live poker is based on skill.
Online poker is rigged.

just to make it totally clear , by rigged you mean the site is cheating ??
or you mean that players can use bots in the game ?
bots exists , and from time to time a bot appears to the market , but if you mean that the site cheats then you are wrong
poker is the most popular gambling game where the house is for sure winning , there is no need to cheat the players
they are making millions by just offering the game

I have more of an issue with the fact that it is so easy to take multiple seats at a table so you can have a huge advantage over the rest of the seats.  Maybe I use three different internet connections to keep everything hidden and just for good measure I communicate with a good friend on Skype and have him sit at the same table.

148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: July 14, 2015, 03:03:25 AM
I just wanted to add my .02

I do not believe in God but I don't hate religion.   I understand the benefit people can receive from having religion in their lives but it is something I don't subscribe to.   I don't mind going to church with my family or any thing like that.   The hate is probably more directed to those that want to argue about religion.

OP...any update Huh

No update yet, even OP is not online since 3days ago (1day before the competition ended). In fact OP is active in twitter in the last 24hours, I have asked him about this yesterday but seems that he ignored my tweet  Huh
Hope this is not a bad sign of the site, lets wait and see for more hours.

That's kind of bummer news.  Thanks for the update though.

I'm excited for the drawing.  You posted the last week winners about an hour and a week ago.   Do you know when this week will be posted?

Was the original suggestion to use a new receiving/sending address every time you make a transaction with Bitcoin?   Does anyone do that currently?

154  Economy / Services / Re: Amazon Purchasing Service: 65% ; FULL ESCROW ($75-$569) Via Cryptothrift on: July 13, 2015, 10:13:27 AM
no offense, but people can buy multiple amazon cards a discount rate on a legit place.

places like gyft, or purse.io. It may not be staggering with 65%, but its 30% which seems without headache.

Or localbitcoins.   I see people buying Amazon gift cards (wit photo of card and receipt) for twice the going rate of BTC.   He could be selling bitcoins for Amazon GC @ $600 then buying things with them on here and he would make %15 on every order and it wouldn't be a scam...i think.

160  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Amazon gift cards on: July 12, 2015, 12:21:26 PM
I've sold some gift cards through localbitcoins and one seller had issues with two gift cards I purchased.  They were legit and I had the receipts and everything but amazon.com locked their account after they redeemed them.  I'm not sure why and they are too worried to contact Amazon themselves but I think the guy is in China so that might have set off some red flag.
