141  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe is against Libra. Who else? on: October 15, 2019, 05:25:38 PM
After the withdrawal of Visa, Mastercard, PayPal...it is getting harder for Libra to have a high impact, of course if ever it gets launched!

142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Soon Surge by 20%? on: October 13, 2019, 01:12:31 PM
although i am hoping to see $10k sooner than later but i am starting to think that we may end up experiencing another prolonged and boring stable phase like what we had at the beginning of this year with $3k range. of course it is still too early to say and things are still unpredictable. but we are now entering the third week of price being in this range and the market has been calming down a lot too which makes me more confident in what i said.

Stable phase isn't bad, better than <$8k before November. I still think things will get better after 1 month from now and the +20% price will be just a start
143  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-10] US SEC Rejects Bitwise Bitcoin ETF Proposal on: October 10, 2019, 07:22:40 PM
Bitcoin is highly manipulated in the price, also they can't really control it. US SEC also protect Fiat, they hate or fear about cryptocurrency.

I don't agree with the word "manipulated", I prefer high "volatility" which makes it hard to predict but also very profitable for some.
For the Fiat thing, yeah...they will delay this until they find a profitable alternative.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think is the best rate price for btc? on: October 08, 2019, 09:02:43 PM
Apart the fact that 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin, and that countries should stop using USD only as the main trading currency, i think that for the moment $10k is an ideal price until mid-November, then it should be $13-15k by the end of the year.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe is against Libra. Who else? on: October 06, 2019, 02:01:22 PM
And the libra can become the strongest private currency of all, which means it is a direct threat to banks. No wonder there is so much noise about it.

There is too much noise about Facebook in general and some people calling to dissolve it.
Fb is the opposite of privacy so why can anyone be sure that their coin is going to be private? I doubt.
Libra is going to be a real threat to banks but also to many fiat including USD
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Bitcoin eth, ltc and others on: September 30, 2019, 02:22:01 PM
Then it will become a scam money too in the future because the government will start controlling cryptocurrency and we will go back to the old system.

It will not be a scam since the shop owner has to verify if the papers contains money and has to transfer it immediately to avoid being scammed by the customer who already has the private keys and so on for everyone having this paper before!
Governments cannot still control it since they have to acquire bitcoin first which is different than just printing money..
Anyway, i don't see any point in the future for the usage of papers whether in education, administrations, currencies...
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: $5,000 is the number - so get used to it. on: September 29, 2019, 07:05:44 PM
Too optimistic just like the ol' kwuckduck!
Volatility, buying/selling shouldn't be a problem, besides, in November and December the price of Bitcoin increases usually so wear your hat and your gloves son, it is gonna be a wild winter Wink
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-09-27]Bitcoin Chaos Continues As Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg Reveals... on: September 28, 2019, 03:48:54 PM
Libra they said.. Following people in their social events and soon in their transactions/ daily life..
Bitcoin price volatility has nothing to do with this coin. It may have an impact if it will attract more users than bitcoin, otherwise bullshit.

It is interesting to see such diversity in the actual limited market.
The only inconvenient is the security issues. We will see if it will be easily hacked or not.

153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin takes aim at $100,000 target on: July 18, 2019, 12:48:22 AM
This $100k aim is meant for the long term. For the moment volatility and cash grabbing by big whales is a priority...
154  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: June 27, 2019, 01:42:31 AM
Spamming and the reputation of the yobit are different thing to judge, the cause of the ban was only due to the spams.

And because yobit (or any other sig/comp) isn't doing what it was supposed to do... Removing spammers or hiring a manager to do so... It isn't that hard! and it may even makes the campaign one of the best.
The temp ban was a warning from theymos but I am pretty sure he knows it is ineffective. The next step may be a permaban, but i wonder if this will be the best solution?
BTW @h&co, wasn't you a manager for a while, few years back? I remember yobit was CFNP and many spammers were kicked. What happened to the campaign at that time?

@Loyce : i has an account in yobit (as active as I am here or better Tongue ) and participated early in its campaign before leaving, months before it was locked then I was able to join again after they "restarted" it, well badly. So the possibility exists if yobit want to do so. But since they don't have a blacklist then it will be....
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: June 2019 - Bitcoin hits 10K, where next on: June 24, 2019, 08:01:05 PM
And it's back to $11029.

It's becoming more stable these days and just like the old pattern that bitcoin showed us. It stopped over to $11k for the meanwhile and there will be a surge within few days. That's all I can see base on its past behavior.

Being busy but watching the chart daily and yeah It's more stable these days $10,5-11k which is good imo  Smiley
156  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-21]Top 5 Blockchain & Cryptocurrency-Friendly European Nations on: April 22, 2019, 04:46:07 PM
-snip-

I agree.
From what I understood, a country that letting blockchain/crypto related business expands without restrictions (for the moment) are friendly.
The most important thing imo is when seeing regulations on the usage of crypto + finding many people using it.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamato to be revealed " claims on: April 21, 2019, 07:57:35 PM
Just one word...Bullshit!

McAfee and Craig's Wright are actually taking advantage of our community since we are so much interested in knowing who Satoshi Nakamoto really is.
CIA and Co are more interested than all of us to know who Satoshi is...and they failed.
McAfee is a weird guy while Craig is acting like a baby who wanna be a hero controlling everything and attracting the attention of everybody..
158  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-20]Coinbase Launches Crypto-to-Crypto Trading Services in 11 Countries on: April 21, 2019, 07:50:38 PM
bye bye binance....
welcome back coinbase...

coinbase volume will be rising 1000% by this service, usually people use binance, bittrex, poloniex, hitbc, where fake volume higher than real volume, coinbase is profesional marketplace/exchange, im sure we can get "real" volume and real price for our altcoin.

Personally I compare Coinbase to PayPal which can lock your account at any moment and ask you to provide personal information. For those who don't care it is ok but for those who care about their privacy then it is a big issue.
Coinbase is an established service and until now a trusted one comparing to other exchanges which is its only advantage imo...
159  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-18]North Korea Plans on Using Bitcoin to Bypass Sanctions on: April 20, 2019, 10:28:53 PM
This is not about ordinary citizens, but about the government which is under sanctions and can not function normally
Clear. I though for a while they are thinking/talking about their citizens... If China is restricting something, why NK will allow it! My bad.

It makes more sense to use protocols such as XMR with how little media attention there is around them, and there is an actual form of privacy here. Or they use a basket of crypto currencies to hedge their risks, which makes sense as well.

If you think logically, transporting physical US dollars and gold bars is still happening between rogue governments, and this allows them to transact without leaving a trail behind on the internet.
Correct and correct, but who knows whether they are using actually cryptocurrencies or not? They are using several methods for sure to bypass sanctions.
160  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-18]North Korea Plans on Using Bitcoin to Bypass Sanctions on: April 20, 2019, 06:53:06 AM

North Korea May Sidestep UN Sanctions with Bitcoin: Opinion

North Korea ‘Increasingly’ Uses Crypto to Avoid US Sanctions, Experts Claim

This is getting very tiring.

Correct me if I am wrong but North Korean don't have a free access to the Internet nor can afford a computer easily! How could they switch even partially to cryptocurrencies!
