141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single or accumulation, which one do you prefer when it comes to sport betting on: January 12, 2024, 11:03:44 PM
From my perspective, I do not see the point in accumulation. I prefer single bets.

OP probably should have created a poll for this thread. Since there are only two possible answers expected from the community...

Thanks so much for the observation. I think creating a poll alongside with this post can easily make us people's view. I will definitely make a poll with it now and will love it if all that has responded to this post will try to vote in their opinion on this.

As a fellow sports bettor, will it bring something to you if you learn what's the most preferred by most bettors here?

Or generally, just want to know the pulse of the community regarding how they place a bet in their respective sports betting activity?

Just keep it simple and choose what's the best and most effective based on our preferences. Others are doing great betting in a single bet and others want to try their luck at doing multiple parlay bets for much-boosted odds. If what is effective for us in the long run, then I should say we just keep doing it.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What ugly incident or occurrence have you ever experienced in gambling? on: January 12, 2024, 10:51:39 PM
f the casino saw and verified their story is true they may send them a gift or a prize for their loss because they were trying to stop and cash out on a huge multiplier and couldn’t due to an error. The casino may do some promotion on this incident but they are too big for these kind of things I guess.

I don't think so. The error was not because of the site but it was clear the gadget became unresponsive at that time. But the user can try it and check what will be the response of the site. Show the video and any proof, and see if the site can consider giving him a small token as a prize.

I  never experienced something like that but if I experienced it, I need to accept the fact that I'm busted.

I might also have trouble sleeping for a week or two lol.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land-based Casino Enjoyers are something else. on: January 12, 2024, 10:37:16 PM
I gotta say man, I know gambling for some people is bad but when they say it's bad I didn't think it'd be this worse lol. Oh well, all the more reasons to avoid the land-casinos I guess.

Seems it was only created for content purposes.

I know gambling is stressful and sometimes turns a person's mind in an empty condition after losing a huge money but I'm sure if such an incident happened like in the video, it might just be a rare case. I can't comment much on the video since like I said, it might just made for views where rare moments are necessary to attract more viewers.

Let's say if that happened for real, then I hope the person involved will be soon treated properly.
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 12, 2024, 10:25:21 PM
We countlessly experiences new gamblers on daily basis in the gambling boards. Not just in this platform of
a mere gambling discussion but in a reality of gambling. So briefly, I call to your attentions the newbie gamblers to be aware that>>>
"Responsible gambling is cordially adhered by your audible alertness to realize that temptations as irresponsible gambling is inspired by your desperacies of making profits or recovering your losts".

The newbies won't understand much of any advice related to gambling if they don't know the real feeling of doing it. You can't expect newbies to become responsible right away the moment they enter gambling as the real challenge before reaching the stage of being responsible is to face all the pressure, stress, and emotional that they will experience in gambling.

For me, let them just gamble with a piece of advice that they should not push too much. If they successfully control their emotions during gambling for a period of time, they will surely know what to do as they progress. We all have the thing called common sense to ourselves and that will help a gambler achieve being a responsible gambler.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sure match prediction on: January 12, 2024, 10:15:19 PM
If anyone who interested to win regularly in a decent odds like 1.70-2.50 odds matches, then you can contact with me. No need money. You can check 3-5 days of my matches.

The chosen odds are something that can't be hit "regularly" especially over 2 odds. Even if you have 8 years of experience in sports betting, you can't just perfectly hit a winning bet on that range of odds. Even professional spots bettors will have a tough time having a set of sure predictions on that odds. You might nailed 3-4 consecutive bets but for sure, it is not consistent.

As per other sayings, and since you don't asking for a money in return, why not just put your predictions here. Much simple and convenient.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is the money manager? is it a casino or game provider? on: January 11, 2024, 01:01:35 PM
Most of the games in online casinos come from third parties or game providers such as Pragmatic Play, Bgaming, Pgsoft, Play'N Go, etc. When playing at any casino, we will use their services. Perhaps only the house edge games are fully owned and powered by the casino

So who actually manages finances? is it the casino itself or the game provider? Does the casino only get a commission from the game provider or buy the game license from the game provider?

It's like a normal business cycle, where a company is paying for a service.

We can consider the game providers as suppliers in the usual business and their service is to offer their games to the gambling sites. If both parties agree, the gambling sites will now pay for these games and will be added to gambling sites.

Even without knowing the main agreement, it should be obvious that the main finance that pays the players will come from gambling site owners. The game providers are already settled and paid by the gambling sites and I don't think that gambling sites are giving commissions to these game providers.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Long-term profitable strategies on: January 11, 2024, 12:35:07 PM
There is no such thing for me as long-term profitable strategies in luck-based gambling games.

Instead, these are the things that I need to do whatever it takes when playing gambling games that purely rely on luck:

- once in a decent win already, I'll force myself to cashout and take a break
- once in a decent loss already, I'll force myself to call it a day and not deposit more to chase those losses
- once I feel that nothing happened in my balance playing for several hours, then call it also a day and just come back the next day
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: January 11, 2024, 12:16:02 PM
Women by nature are more conservative than men. They are better manager of resources and know how to prioritise things. This is what is needed for successful gambling because with it, the chances of using funds meant for basic needs in gambling will be minimised.

So do you think women will make better gamblers than men?

That behavior and traits that you mentioned about women will be erased once they feel the pressure of gambling. Even how good they are at managing resources once they experience a losing streak in gambling, they will also turn crazy to chase those losses. Especially dealing with a game of luck, how come we can even think of a better way to manage our resources?

However, if a woman has those positive traits, I'm sure they won't go into gambling.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: January 11, 2024, 11:21:52 AM
Take note and be aware that your way of gambling could affect your relationships and the circle of your relatives.

This is true. Good thing that in the world of gambling, there are still responsible gamblers even how addicted they are. These gamblers went from worse to better because of their experience. Sad reality but sometimes, gamblers need to experience the worst before becoming better gamblers.

Unfortunately, not all gamblers can bounce back from being worse and now end up in a much more critical situation. These gamblers don't think of anything else now and just focus on how to sustain their gambling habit. In that particular situation, someone needs to step up to save these people as they are now out of control even by themselves.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where have all the low volatility slots gone??? on: January 11, 2024, 11:05:20 AM
Honestly speaking, based on my observation as a slot player for a long, volatility isn't a big deal now to most gamblers. Generally, if we do some interviews with some slot players out there, surely they will say that there's not much difference now between low and high-volatility slots as in the end, they will still experience being wrecked.

Sometimes, some gamblers are lucky at low volatility then unfortunate at high volatility slots, and vice-versa. Not sure about how volatility works in physical casinos but at least in online casinos, players pick slots now based on design and how attractive the huge multiplier is in the banner of that said game.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: January 05, 2024, 01:48:02 PM
As gamblers let not focus all attention on the amount that we may by chance of luck win but on what we are to lose should we fail to win the bet, in that way we won't spend on gambling above what we can afford to lose.

Lol, why gamble if you will always think what are we about to lose? Stop gambling as that thinking was a distraction.

Instead, why not just be responsible whether we are winning or losing? Let's say you hit that juicy win, learned how to stop, and take a break. Enjoy and cash out some winnings. On the other hand, if now on a losing streak, also learned how to stop and take a break as well.

If you are playing on luck-based games, have that disciplined rather than to think what we are about to lose.
Mate maybe you don't get it, putting it in mind that you can also lose your game is simply another form of aiding a gambler in  being a responsible gambler, if the mindset is predicated on win win win alone then it's very possible that just a few series a streak of losses can affect such gambler emotionally which can make him to start chasing the losses based on his win dominated mindset alone, and this could lead to irresponsible gambling in the course of loss chasing.

As we set our mind on winning we should also forget that the losing in gambling is easier to frequently occur than the winnings we are heavily focused on. It is  admirable to go with a win mindset due to how it can influence our luck for the day based on our believe but having it in mind that losses is also a path of the game makes it simple to deal with the both outcome any that be.

Mate, here's the catch. It's supposed to be already on our minds that we might lose a particular game. There's no need to keep that in mind.

Instead, why not just focus on how to survive the game and return home with a good catch as much as possible?

Do you mean, that before we start gambling, we should also think how much we might lose? On point though but it's like adding more distraction to our focus on gambling. Instead, think of a better strategy to increase the winning chance in that particular session.

Let's not make our gambling session too complicated to the point that we should worry on all things.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single or accumulation, which one do you prefer when it comes to sport betting on: January 05, 2024, 01:22:21 PM
I just wish to see people view about single bet and accumulated bet. Which one do you till can be profitable when it comes to gambling. Although I normally do the two but in most cases I prefer accumulated bet to single bet.

Which one is profitable? There's no such thing as that. You just have to play those both right regardless of the bet option.

Both have pros and cons and of course, expect that you have to play with the odds here.

Stacking bets within for let's say odds ranging from 1.2 - 1.5 is still risky. Maybe just stick with the one you really preferred.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 05, 2024, 01:09:02 PM
The reason why these people keep playing gambling, even always losing, is because they actually won big before.

They want to chase that big win regardless of the losing streak, unfortunate luck, bullshit reasons and so whatever.

If these guys didn't win before, I doubt they will continue to play gambling. Winning big before is memorable to any gambler.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 05, 2024, 11:43:22 AM
The subject might need a modification. When it comes to losing money, no safe between online and offline gambling.

We can change OP's subject to, which is more prone to losing more money between online and offline gambling. Since topping up an account in online gambling is just one tap away, we can assume that online gambling is more prone to losing money.

But I disagree with OP saying that offline gambling (or let's change the term into physical gambling), reduces the risk of overspending money in gambling. It's not true. These gamblers who enjoy gambling in physical casinos mostly have lots of money on hand. Even if they don't bring much, it's easy to just return to the gambling hall anytime.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the tension make you take risk that are sometimes worth it? on: January 05, 2024, 11:21:37 AM
We all know that gambling sometimes can be fun and something not, even if we  blatantly claim here that we do gamble alone for the fun purpose 🙄🙄. Truth be told majority of person actually gamble because of the possibility that they can earn some profits from the act and as we all know it , not all the time the end result is what we expected. Although am not an addicted gambler but I can say I do my fair share of gambling activities sometimes and what I have observed is that sometimes I actually make some hard calls that turn out to be fruitful when ever am tenced but the results may differ for different individuals though.

So I would like to know your own experience when making or taking risk in gambling under pressure.

Gambling under pressure is dangerous and shouldn't be considered a habit. We are talking about money here.

The moment you start a gambling session, you should have a calm mind and relax. Thinking too much will distract you and the focus will also be wrecked. If a gambler has that kind of thinking, staying away from gambling should be considered now. Don't stress yourself on something very risky if you feel pressured while gambling.

It's common to feel intense and excited once we take risks but to feel pressure after doing that, it's a different story.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 05, 2024, 11:04:17 AM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

The moment that expert says that it's a guaranteed predicted game, everything is crap. It's not a prediction anymore if the result is known.

It's definitely just a trick to earn money without risking his own. Look, you guys used his recommendation and then if win, you will share your winnings. If the said match lose, nothing will gonna lose on that guy, only from you and to your friends. What a way to earn money lol.

If you know personally that guy, then also ask him to also share some money on that bet and let's see if he will take the risks. Cheesy
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shared games helped you before? on: January 04, 2024, 11:18:43 PM
Some times I began to wonder whether is my fault for not keep following him or what maybe who know what could have happened if that kept having patient to play his predicted games.

If gambling can be predicted accurately at 100%, then it's not gambling anymore.

No one to blame if you weren't able to catch the same win. Gambling results are not predictable.

If you really want to clear up things and remove your doubts, then have a test. Try now to follow whoever you want to follow and start allocating money on the goal of determining if that kind of action in gambling is really effective in the long run.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 04, 2024, 11:15:57 PM
Unless Mayweather announces this to the public and will start building hype, I will remove the possibility that this might not be pushed.

It's unusual for me to see Mayweather just participate in an exhibition match without any thoughts. Reading also the article, it's clear that Pacquiao's side seems the only one aggressive in the exhibition match. No statements were brought up on the Mayweather side.

But like anyone else, I hope this will happen for real, and not when Pacman and Mayweather are now in their 50s lol.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on favorites early in the week & underdogs late in the week strategy... on: January 04, 2024, 11:09:38 PM
So I'm just curious if the sports betters in here take this "rule of thumb" strategy seriously and tend to follow it.  Or if there's any experience that says this may not be all that great of a strategy.  Thoughts?

Maybe it will work but the question is, are those odds by the Favorites worthy to bet on that specific bet?

Is risky for me to bet a decent amount on low odds compared to high odds. It's like you need to bet a decent on Favorites just to feel the profit. And in the worst case, those Favorites might be stunned by the Underdogs even during the early week.

Though we can do some experiments there and form a conclusion. If you have some extras, why not try to bet on the sequence and see the result. Maybe you can form a sort of betting pattern specifically designed and effective on that specific league.
