141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: September 26, 2015, 04:28:25 AM
If martingale really worked & was 100% effective all of the time then there would be no casinos because they'd all be bankrupt. Sure it may work in patches & make the game slightly in your favour but there are no guaranteed strategies to beat casinos all of the time.

Just enjoy gambling, don't try & be too clever or you will lose everything.

If it is not working why there are so many people still using this as their strategy? I think artingale is useful but not in a long run, after you win some you should probably stop it for a while and later continue it or if you dont want you can start again tomorrow, it is better

Because it's through the winning bets that profit is made and that's what most people see. The strategy of doubling on losing it's a zero-sum tactic. When the roll is good, you recover only the lost bet. Many others had made a better analysis of it and even I said I used it, but my experience is that not works at all. Nevertheless, for me it's a fun coin toss that is exciting when you recover a huge losing zero bet.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: September 26, 2015, 01:26:05 AM
I know a person that spents all his salary of retirement into these loteries and then after win some reinvest and loose all the person asks money to others to eat,why would you spend all money into some dream of big prize?

Because that's the lure of lotto. A small investment for the promise of big profits. However, that person you know is the kind of people doesn't know when to put an end to his loses.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: September 26, 2015, 12:12:33 AM
I can attest that martingale doesn't work. Being the strategy is based in a exponential growing rate, only to recover from losing, there's no wallet that can endure such loses. A 27 losing streak is enough to evaporate 1 BTC and the probability that such a bad luck chain can happen is there.

148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: September 24, 2015, 05:06:55 PM
Any gambling can be profitable in long term as long as you can keep yourself under control.

Seems easy to do but it really hard to do ... Trust me.

Choose game with low stress level so you can have good self control. Thats mean no stupid bet and know when to stop !

I prefer sport game , soccer.

Keyword is control. Agreed, that's the hardest thing to do, but I keep losing with style (though that means more faucet draining until I gather enough to run towards the next losing spree).

149  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dont play at satoshibet.com - You will lose your money . :D on: September 24, 2015, 05:02:21 PM
DONT PLAY AT THAT SITE  Smiley

Not mention to defend satoshibet, but your losing streak is a very usual thing in gambling. There is provably fair mechanism in the site so you can verify your bets.
Wondering what will you say if there is a player get more than 10 win streak, would you say that he is cheating?  Grin

DONT TRUST A SCRIPT FOOL  Cool

I had a 20 bad rolls streak that mean losing 1mill sat. Checked each roll and none was tampered against me. Pure bad luck on my side.

Trade is holding a steady volume. No big surprises but the usual profit sales.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 24, 2015, 04:00:31 AM
Well, I lost my first million satoshi by using martingale  in a extreme lost streak of 20 bad rolls.  A losing testing play which taught me that there's no strategy at all but pure random luck.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: September 24, 2015, 03:29:05 AM
I do play lottery. I'd  won the 2nd prize four times. Of course, that last ball meant I'm many years away from retiring. Overall, I've spent as much as I've earned, that's why I keep playing.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How FAIR are those provably fair games? on: September 24, 2015, 02:57:18 AM
The games are as fair as the algorithm used, which can be  trusted and proved. Nevertheless, there's and edge in every game, which is only the safeguard used by all the casinos to protect them from losing if by chance a player has a winning streak.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 23, 2015, 09:43:00 PM
Gambling is not wrong itself. The lure from obtaining something without effort is always there and that is why gambling is so attractive. If you go only for the fun, risking a little bit hoping it grows by betting, then it's not a problem. In the other hand, if it becomes an addiction, it would be better if you forget about it.

The problem with that statement is you think it is Gamblings fault.  That is like saying, ugh, that gun went out and started shooting people.  People need to be held accountable for what they do, you can't just start generalizing and saying something is evil because a few people have a problem with it, maybe we should try to help the people who have a problem instead of saying its an evil thing or not.

Maybe I didn't use the right way to say it. Gambling as an activity is neither good or bad. The consequences that people has to face because their gambling habits are. I have family and friends that think that all the games are rigged. Nevertheless, they keep playing again and again, waiting to hit jackpot someday. Are they out of their minds throwing their working earned money by gambling? I don't criticise. I gamble sometimes too, even with my engineering background tells me that the odds are against me every single game. It's my decision to do so and in the way I feel like having fun.

After the huge boost because the wallet update, the trend has been marked from utility takers. Yet, the trading volume has surpassed the 4 BTC and coin looks better now.

157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: September 23, 2015, 04:41:50 AM
Casino's edge is their safeguard, either against a lucky streak or blatant cheating. When a player wins, is someone taking as profit the losing of many other players. So in the long run you can't think on gambling as a regular income.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: September 23, 2015, 04:33:00 AM
I set myself little goals. I withdraw either after winning 10% or losing 15%.
