1. I already ordered more cables, heat sinks for the backplates and fans.

2. I don‘t think the wifi is the problem. It works fine for days and then suddenly drops from 1% stale to 30% stale.. that must be a provider issue.

3. There is no possibility to run an ethernet cable to my garage where the miner is located

seek3r letzte Woche gab es die EVGA FTW3 3080 bei Alternate für 1250€.
Ich habe im Sekundentakt aktualisiert und man konnte die Karte nie kaufen (der Button war ausgeblendet). Plötzlich war die Karte dann weg und wurde laut Alternate angeblich gekauft und ich wäre zu langsam gewesen... denke eher dass die sie selbst eingsteckt haben.. aber naja.

Zur Karte: Die ist wirklich so gut wie weg. Ich warte die ganze Zeit auf die Post die mal wieder ultra langsam ist. Aber sobald die Karte hier ist will der Interessent sie abholen.
Also falls du eine Andere in Aussicht hast kannst du dort gerne zuschlagen.

I run a 3090 and a 3080 on Trex for ETH mining.

I run the exact setup for more than 3 days with 2-3 % stale shares.

This evening my stale shares went up to 25%.
I didn't change anything.
Memory temperatures on the 3090 are like 95 celsius all the time. On the 3080 85 celsius all the time.


Any ideas what's going on here and how I can change it?
I already reduced the memory overclock to 950 MHz on both cards. The stale shares went down to like 10 % and then back up to 25% after a short time.

I need to run one riser on molex because I run out of 6/8 Pin cables on the PSU.
And I run the 3090 on one Y shaped 8 Pin from the PSU.

Maybe it's some overheating in the PSU. Could that be a problem? But why after 3 days?

I needed to run one 3090 with one cable.

Like the "Standard" option mentioned in the picture above.

Until now (for 2 days) it's all fine. But I ordered another 8 Pin Cable from Seasonic so I can run 2 seperate cables.

wie viel bringen die ungefähr?

Die Suprim X 3080 läuft super kühl bei 82 Grad auf dem Speicher.
Die Trinity 3090 läuft aber permanent zwischen 92 und 96 Grad. Und es ist noch nicht mal wirklich warm.

Wenn ich die Pads tausche müsste ich das Garantiesiegel brechen - und das möchte ich vermeiden.

I have a 3090 and 3080 running with the latest driver from two weeks ago.


Do I need to instal the latest driver with resizable bar? Would that make my cards fastet?

Habe noch etwas rumgespielt und bin jetzt bei 300 Watt glatt für 122 MHs.
Das passt.

Ich komme bei +1500 MHz sogar auf knapp 128 MHs... aber ich will die Karte noch etwas behalten, daher betreibe ich sie nicht am Limit.

3060 habe ich schon auf 60 MHs gesehen. Müssen aber direkt auf dem Board betrieben werden weil sie bei x1 Risern wieder auf 30 MHs fallen.


Mal eine Frage zu den Stats wie ihr mit der 3090 auf 121 MHs und 290 Watt kommt?
Ich habe +1100 MHz Ram, Powertarget 88% und komme auf 122 MHs aber bei 308 Watt.

Wie kommt ihr auf 290 Watt? Sobald ich das Powerlimit runter nehme fällt die Hashrate.

Ich habe den neuesten MSI Afterburner und blicke nicht so recht wie ich Curve richtig verwende. Bzw. bricht bei mir die Automatische OC Suche immer ab.


Und als Frage für die 3080 die morgen kommt - welche Stats würdet ihr auf der fahren?

I use a Seasonic Focus GX850 for my rig.

The PSU has 4 8-Pin Connectors.
Each cable seperates in 2 8-Pin connectors.

I wanna run a 3090 (2x8Pin) a 3080 (2x8Pin) and a 3080 (3x8Pin).

Is it okay to use one 8 Pin PSU Connector which seperates in two to power one card?
That would mean up to 310 watt on one 8 Pin PSU connection.

That would be maybe 250 because 60 come from the connector.

Or do I need to run 2 seperate 8 Pins to each card?

Die RTX 3070 bringen nur 60 MHs und kosten meist so um die 1.100€.
Die RTX 3080 bringen 100 MHs und kosten mit extrem viel Glück 1.250€ (wenn man sie zu dem Preis bekommt)

Also Preis/Leistung ist bei den 80er besser.

Zumal RTX 3060 / 3060ti und 3070 alle die gleiche Leistung bringen.
Die 3070 sind aber die Teuersten davon - also ökonomisch betrachtet am wenigsten sinnvoll.

Gebraucht ja, neu nicht.

Ich habe gestern eine neue und ungeöffnete Zotac Trinity OC bei eBay Kleinanzeigen gekauft.
Heute hatte ich dann Glück und eine MSI Suprim X bei Alternate ergattert.

Da weder mein Netzteil noch mein Geldbeutel zwei zusätzliche 3080 vertragen würde ich eine der beiden Karten abgeben.

Für die Zotac hätte ich gern 1.500€ inkl. Versand (EK 1.450€).
Für die MSI 1.650€ Inkl. Versand (EK 1.610€)

Habe sie bei eBay Kleinanzeigen bekommen für 1.350€.

Ist gebraucht, aber das stört mich nicht.
Aktuell werden die so zwischen 1.600 und 1.900€ gehandelt - daher finde ich den Preis okay.

Ich sage ja es ist eine Sucht...

Habe noch „billig“ eine 3080 geschossen.
Mit 120 MHs dauert mir das zu lange bis zur Auszahlung... und das Netzteil ist auch nicht ausgelastet.
