141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether- too big to fail? on: April 13, 2019, 10:19:57 AM
there is no such thing as "too big to fail" ever specially when the foundation of something is built on top of a broken design. and Tether is exactly that. a broken centralized token that is supposed to be backed by real US dollars but in reality it is not. and also the company behind it (the centralized owner) is not the safest or the most legitimate companies so in other words Tether is actually doomed to fail eventually. the only question is when and what effects will it have on this market specially the altcoins that don't even have a fiat market but they have tether market.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [VIDEO] - ETHEREUM Preparing To Explode ? - Technical Analysis Today News Price on: April 12, 2019, 11:28:32 AM
Great analysis and the prediction was right, now eth is close to 15% from the price we see in the video, the question is. Will it bump more, or we should expect the crash now?

I just subscribe to that channel and will keep an eye on those videos. Thanks for the info.
There will surely be a little decrease it in price but not enough to be qualified a crash, ethereum recent pump is being assisted with lots of great factors that are assisting the price become stable temporarily pending the time we witness another new pump which may occur shortly, most top coins are doing very well now and when it comes to investors decided to sells off for profit.

I think BTC and ETH will be the least for now, most investors are holding both BTC and ETH as proper future and long term investment while other altcoins are being used for short term investment, so their investors might not be paying much attention to selling them now till they are fully blown

to be fair it is a very bad idea to hold something with unlimited supply and think of it as a "long term" investment. that is like the basics of the supply and demand principle that works for any asset in the world. more supply (in this case of ethereum unlimited) and diminishing demand is always equal to losing value over the long haul. that is not something that you can ignore even if there are big pumps in the short term.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stuck with Altcoin That Cannot Be Traded? on: April 12, 2019, 11:13:32 AM
just go to one of these websites that list every altcoin and every exchange like www.coinmarketcap.com and search the name of all the coins you are stuck with and visit their market page. all these sites have the list of all exchanges and sometimes even other options you could use to dump each coin. then it is only a matter of checking to see if that place is a trusted one (remember just because they list it doesn't mean it is trusted). then simply make an account there and get an address for that coin in your wallet and withdraw the coins from bittrex to that address and dump there. then you can convert all back to bitcoin and withdraw the bitcoin to your hardware wallet.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything You Need to Know about IEO on: April 12, 2019, 10:50:21 AM
that is not everything, that is not even the most important part.

what you should know about IEOs, and i would go as far as saying the only thing you need to know about them is "what are they going to do with all the money they raise?". in the end I.E.O. is a fancy word for fund raising and they are supposed to deliver something in return.
but so far in the past couple of years not a single one out of thousands of them have done anything with millions of dollars funds they have raised.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance threatens to delist BitcoinSV for Craig Wright pretending to be satoshi on: April 12, 2019, 10:32:17 AM
i really enjoy watching the things Binance guys do. they are real businessmen who know how to make their own business succeed and make lots of money in this raw market. they always take advantage of every situation as much as they can too.
take this tween for example, they are now being advertised all over the internet for free! and they didn't do much either. in the end they are going to de-list a shitcoin that has been losing daily trading volume (which is the main way an exchange makes money) so they aren't really losing anything apart from freeing up server resources for another replacement shitcoin with higher volume.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tether Bring Down Bitcoin? on: April 12, 2019, 10:24:06 AM
there has been a lot of FUD about relationship between bitcoin price and tether and all of them have been nonsense. but yet people continue talking about them because this market loves the drama Wink

as for "bringing down bitcoin", you can only wish but it will never happen. however we will surely see Tether eventually go down either by their company scamming people or by FBI shutting them down at some point and that will cause a lot of panic in the market with lots of dumps and bitcoin will be among them.

Until now, I am doubting the USDT having real backing of USD.
And if people within their team start to feed their hunger for money, we know for sure, they are going down.
But bringing down bitcoin? Still a big question out there.
How many people know about the existence of tether as compared to bitcoin? Just to start I guess.

it definitely is not completely backed by USD as in not being 1:1 and their shadiness makes me believe this even more every day.

as for that last question it is a good one. people who start buying bitcoin don't know about Tether and majority of them will never even bother with it because there is no point in using it since all they want is to buy more bitcoin and use bitcoin not some pointless centralized altcoin that is shady as hell.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum classic price spiking. What is the reason? Coinbase price way up. on: April 11, 2019, 03:40:37 PM
I read somewhere that they are proceeding with proposals for a hardfork so people are buying now. Can't remember what additional features it will have but closer ties to ethereum ETH was in the list

That would be quite strange if this was true news. I have always known ETC to be the complete opposite of philosophy and principle with Ethereum,,, and surely we all remember why this happened. To make a hardfork and then become closer to ETH does not seem like the mood of ETC developers for the past 2 years plus. But let me also read up and see what new developments are happening.
There is still a very wide gap between ETH and ETC and I am sure it will take decades for them to meet up that is if they do, provided there is no sort of manipulation in their volume by these exchanges or coinmarketcap.

I have never really picked interest in ETC and I wonder what many people who are investing in it stands to really gain, some of these coins are just being pumped to attract investors in which the price will be dumped immediately, don’t be surprised that the price will be dumped back tomorrow as against the 26%, anyway, the any investor that is smart should just take their profit and leave the market to invest in Bitcoin now.

there is no way the two coins can ever meet because they both share the same broken platform that has lots of issues and bugs and considering the terrible supply decisions they have made in first day the price of it has to continue to go down. so they both have to go down at pretty much the same speed with ETH having more hype than ETC but they both are on the same path. so they can never converge.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A shot at portfolio re-organisation on: April 11, 2019, 02:55:33 PM
most of you have already bought dozens of different altcoins, held for long term thinking it is a good investment and have lost a huge percentage of your investment, some as high as 95% even!

with that said, maybe it is time for you guys to change your strategies. you have already tested a certain one and failed at it. believe me i have been there myself and have lost money because of being a bag holder. now i am only holding altcoins for short term, which has meant a couple of hours in some cases too. and the ever since i started doing that i no longer lose money overall.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China may ban bitcoin mining soon. on: April 11, 2019, 02:40:21 PM
there is not that much bitcoin mining left in China for them to ban it. most of the mining farms are already outside of jurisdiction of the Chinese government and big companies such as Bitmain already have their Headquarters in another place. not to mention that the mining pools are servers that are oversees and Chinese government has no power over them either.

so talking about China and bitcoin miners is kind of a meaningless argument in my opinion!

151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is a Trojan Horse on: April 08, 2019, 09:17:01 AM
BitcoinHodler: Quote "bitcoins still dominates more than 95% of the market"

But that's not true, bitcoin is currently at 50.5%. So only half of the market is currently dominated by BTC.

Bitcoin went from about 84% dominance on March 10th 2017 - 32% dominance January 15th 2018. At this same time Ripple Trojan coin also hit 17% dominance.

The point is if Ripple surpasses Bitcoin dominance.... its all over

https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage

that is NOT called "domination", just because a website is using that term doesn't make it right!
dominating the market means having the highest volume, being the only coin that everyone knows, being the only coin that people trust and have faith in its future, more importantly the only coin that is not a pump and dump and also the only coin that is actually being used for trading others (there is only two real pairs in the market altcoins versus fiat and altcoins versus bitcoin). and that means DOMINATING the market.

otherwise market capitalization is just a fake number that can easily be manipulated. for example take Ripple that has the second or third highest market cap. it is 100% premined and majority of its supply is controlled by its centralized creators but you still use all that fake supply in calculation of its market cap and as a result you get a huge number and call that market cap of Ripple and then rank it up thinking it is actually high rank and dominating!
if you remove fake supply of all the 2500+ altcoin you will see that bitcoin's market cap / 2500+ altcoin market cap is about 90% not 50% that is currently being reported.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: I SMELL FOMO on: April 08, 2019, 05:56:22 AM
i wouldn't call this a FOMO anymore because it seems to me like the confidence has come back to the market and people who were either scared of more drop or greedy for it, have stopped waiting around (most of them anyways) and are not starting to slowly buying more bitcoin before they miss out the chance of buying it at these low prices (in 4 digits). and that is why we still are seeing the constant rise every day and the current price is nearly $5300
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to 200$ ? on: April 08, 2019, 05:47:14 AM
it is impossible to answer because you are basically asking us to predict how much they can pump their token next time they start pumping it and at this point it is impossible to say! pumps are manipulation of the market and their final result depends completely on the market reaction and the power of the pumpers. we know ethereum pumpers are good at what they do (evident from 2017) but we also know that ICOs are dead (the only thing keeping eth alive) and the hype is also dead, and with lots of competition the pumpers will have a very hard time pumping this coin.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win the smart contracts competition? on: April 08, 2019, 05:10:01 AM
ethereum has a lot of problems and it has already lost the "competition" a long time ago. we didn't notice this because of ICO scams that have been occurring. an ICO scam focuses on easiness of creating their scam while wanting the most amount of hype. during 2017 although Ethereum's issues were clear but the hype was huge so they all stuck to it. but now that ICOs are dying we are seeing how everyone has already migrated to other platforms with less issues and better security, some of which are even decentralized unlike the centralized ethereum.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see NPXS/USD trading pairs on Binance ? on: April 08, 2019, 04:51:43 AM
actually majority of traders are trading altcoins against BTC because that is what they are trying to increase not their USD. if you look at pair volumes of any altcoin unless the exchanges don't have the bitcoin pair and report fake volumes you will always see that the altcoin/btc pair always has a huge volume compared to the altcoin/fiat pair.
in this case NPXS/BTC has $2 million while NPXS/USDT has $200k. so apparently not that many want to see that pair.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bitcoin cash pump. Roger Ver's creation? on: April 06, 2019, 07:58:23 AM
BCH like many other altcoins got pumped after the bitcoin price rise which shows that it had nothing to do with bitcoin itself at least not directly.

what happened was 3 stages:
1. when bitcoin was stable in $3900-$4200 which is when most of the altcoins specially the small ones were getting huge pumps of 100% to 500% per day.
2. when bitcoin started rising suddenly from that previous level to $5000. this is when all the altcoins including BCH got dumped hard and lost at least 10% of their value.
3. when bitcoin again reached a stable phase this time in $4800-$5100 range. at this time because of the "enthusiasm" and "positivity" that bitcoin had brought with that little rise in stage 2, some newbies are rushing to buy altcoins which is when many of them went up including BCH. this is still not a pump be cause it is small. a pump in an altcoin is at least 100% rise.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stablecoins have a future? on: April 06, 2019, 07:14:21 AM
stable coins have always stuck out like a sore thumb because they are centralized tokens among decentralized coins in a decentralized market. it is true that for the past years people have been using a lot of them (evident from the trading volumes) and there has been a lot of them that get created every now and then (evident from the total number of individual stable coins!). but in the end there is a big flaw here and that is their centralization. it has created a serious point of  failure.

you can't shut down bitcoin because it is decentralized but it is very easy to shut down USDT because all you have to do is to close down bitfinex and the company behind it and it will die in a blinking of an eye.
and the worst part is not even the fact that USDT will be worth 0 immediately. the worst part is the damage that such incident can cause to the whole market. and we may not see recovery for years after that .
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL crypto coins are "worthless" right now. Here is why. on: April 06, 2019, 06:59:46 AM
it is hard to understand what you really mean by your topic. you seem to be saying something but really mean something else. you call "crypto coins" worthless but then you say why wouldn't you buy them and hold them!!! that doesn't make any sense. and what does bitcoin have to do with anything here!

bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency and it has no competitor. it obviously is a good choice to buy and hold but at the same time a lot of the altcoins aren't even worth buying for a short time let alone for holding as long term investments.
you can look at the altcoin graveyard to see how many coins are already dead and if you look at the history of some of them you can clearly see that all of them at some point were advertised as good coins with a bright future!!!
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is a Trojan Horse on: April 06, 2019, 06:44:54 AM
this market exists only because people were interested in decentralized currency (that is bitcoin) which is why bitcoin is dominating the market and has full control of all of it despite the market capitalization of shitcoins growing bitcoins still dominates more than 95% of the market.
you can't  compete with that with a centralized shitcoin with 100 billion supply all of which was premined.

so far if you look at the market and how people have been reacting to centralized coins such as Ripple and a lot of other top coins like ETH, BCH, DASH... you can clearly see that they are purely interested in them from a profit making perspective and that "interest" lasts only during their pumps. and as soon as they start their dumping process, all of those people abandon it just as fast as they got on board.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Hardwork on: April 06, 2019, 06:30:39 AM
maybe it is time for you and all those participating in the advertisement of scam ICOs and all their alternatives to start thinking about other ways that you could spend your time. preferably spend it more constructively and earn a lot more from it too. otherwise wasting your time advertising projects that are created to scam people out of their money is not such a good idea to begin with.
