What is the minimum amount of btc that will be paid out for owners of GBT?

Thanks for your question. The amount paid out for the owners of GBT will be dependent on how much is raised at the end of the crowd fund (which will determine the %-sold) and how much is revenue is generated at the end of reward cycle.

Actually what i ment was. You told previously that everyone who holds GBT gets payd a % of the profits correct ?
So if i hold a few GBT (enough to earn 1 satoshi) will i still get payd ? And how is that system built up exactly. Will it be pay'd to my BTC address or to the GameBet account?

To your gamebet account, you won't get an reward if the coins are not in your gamebet account has it then would not be tracable if its on some kind of wallet.

He can have them in a wallet of his choosing too. he just needs to sign a message proving he owns that address.

my investment showed up right away!
What is the price for ICO investment?

It does not have a price yet. it will have a value after the ico. for now you just invest what you want and then you find out in the end how many coins you bought and how much they are worth.

Op clearly does not understand bitcoin. Maybe he should go back to the newbie section for a few months to get a grip on bitcoin. As a matter of fact. we should have a bitcoin knowledge test that people must pass in order to get out a newbie section.
Now thats a great idea! pats self on back.

Hey DailyModo, I just won my first bet, but what exactly determines how much I'll be paid back? Other betting sites clearly have signs beforehand like 1.82 odds or 1.5 odds etc. I can only find out by plugging my number into the bet box.  Huh
Also, this may be stupid, but what's this number for? Thanks!

that number is how much of the pot you won.

YoBit is a great choice Daily. Will you be buying the 0.5 btc listing which includes an email to all their members?
if you dont and go for the 0.1 BTC option the chances are you will be waiting months if you even ever get listed!!!!

looking at the money raised im sure they will opt for the guaranteed 1 day listing with the email to all users. If they go for the 0.1 listing then im going to have serious doubts about my investment here.

Hey guys

There's been some discussions on the profitability of the project. First and fore-most, one needs to understand the project is at the cusp of 2 emerging sectors, both of which are far from their true potential

1. Crypto-currencies
2. E-sports.

The product itself is solely positioning itself for massive market-share in the coming 2-3 years and aiming for growing along with the sectors. This is a common trend among any of the big enterprises that have actually made it big. A good example for the same is google back in the late 90's. When it launched, it was nothing but a form of indexing the links, with certain advantages. Were there others in the space? Yes. But what differentiated the team was a simple product, the will to last during the bust - and of course consistent delivery of what consumers needed. There is active discussion of the valuation of the project. You need to realize the concept of a pre-money valuation. Its the value of an enterprise, BEFORE it makes any money. Most organizations at scale have it during their early days. Its at the crux of what makes capitalism effective. Does pre-money valuation make sense ? In most cases, no. Its not a valuation on basis of the revenue but rather the risks assumed by the founders, the quality of the product and the possible profits involved. If we were to do a rot revenue analysis, we would be engaging with banks and not the community here.

All that aside, that is not what this post is about. Its about a product that is left to be marketed. To date- the product hasn't had a release on twitch or even a PR mention for that matter. The marketing campaign, along with the referral campaign will soon be live along with the sports betting front. As the focus shifts from fund raising to actually marketing the product, revenue is a given. Granted there are risks like with most projects, the founders have actually slapped a lot more than  a white paper - but a real product.

So, lets keep the trolling aside for a bit. In case there are any queries / bug fixes / suggestions to be made on the product itself, feel free to post here.

If you'd like to join the team - send in a CV to dailymodo@gamebet.gg and we'll revert to you.
We are looking to expand the team!

*edited.

its interesting project but after looking online there are lots of e sport gambling sites already, mainly big players. Potential but also risk i think...

I'm going to buy 1btc and see what happens...can I just send it to the invest address from an exchange?

I have quite a few BTC in this one. Competition is good, and honestly. Even if Gamebet.gg hits just Top-10 E-sports betting sites I see a huge multiple for one of the first coins that actually makes you dividends.

are you 12.5?  Huh

Hello Everyone,

Thank you all for your continued support. As stated many, many times we are in this for the long haul. While many people would like instant gratification and quick results this is the real world, things don't "go to the moon" without a lot of hard, consistent, committed work. We have a lot of work ahead of us, and many upcoming events. 2016 is going to be a big year for DigiByte.

For those new to DigiByte and cryptocurrencies it is important for you to read the following: http://www.digibyte.co/digibyte_legal_disclaimer

Quote
4. Investment risks

The investment in DigiByte can lead to loss of money over short or even long periods. The investors in DigiByte should expect prices to have large range fluctuations. The information published on the Website cannot guarantee that the investors in DigiByte would not lose money.

We also hate to disappoint people, but we do not control the price, the protocol or the network and we are also not active traders (no time). DigiByte is open source, decentralized and a free market. Right now speculation is driving the market, we are working to get away from this by providing real world utility and use cases. That is the only way to sustain the market long term. Unfortunately at the moment their are individuals working against this and even personally attacking members of our community and team in very inappropriate ways. This is very disappointing, but we will not be deterred and we will push forward.

We are publishing updates through all DigiByte social media portals. We also are planning a newsletter from DigiByte.co and we have set a target date for the first newsletter of April 18th. This newsletter will occur the 1st and second Monday of every month to give everyone consistent updates. In between we will post updates as appropriate.

As for the New York FinDEVr event, we have zero control over the video. This is the conference organizers and they have told us the video will be released here in the next few days: http://findevr.com/videos-container/

For those who think i'm on "vacation," not at all, sure I had some personal things to attend to, but still means 5 AM to 12 PM even after being away from my family, old life and everything I know for two years. There is a lot moving right now and through our previous events we have a lot of people looking at DigiByte and talking to us. We do not want to publicly detail anything until we have solid deals and information to pass on with real substance and solutions. As you all now rumors are rampant in this industry and we have no intention of misleading anyone and fueling a pump and dump.

As for the South Africa event we are still waiting for them to release the video but do not have a time frame. We have reached out asking them for an ETA.

We also pushed out an updated Android wallet, and we will be pushing out an updated DigiByte Gaming wallet here in the next week. The team has been hard at work upgrading several things. We are also hiring more people in HK. So if you are a blockchain programer please PM us.

Thanks again everyone for your continued support and lets keep things positive and moving forward. The strength of the DigiByte community is our ability to rise above "trolls," and other negative forces working against us for a quick buck.

Cheers,

-Jared

I just learnt that I can get paid for playing dota2 or csgo with gamebet coin. what games can i play through dgb and also get paid. and can i get paid by both coins or is it just one or the other.
thank you

The gaming advantage dgb had is gone. It's good Jared has switched to digusign with that company who could store documents on the digibyte blockchain. I think this is where Jared will make his money. Not on the currency itself which is why he only has 5 million coins.

On poloniex I witnessed a fake sell wall of over 200 million coins but was removed quickly. It will take something special to get the price over 1000 and it won't Come from giving free coins to gamers.

I still think over 1500 sat within 5 years is possible.

So I cant get paid to play anymore now? is this only for dgb of for gbt too?
