terrorist is reserved only for muslims

Not so, my friend... The Islamic terrorists just happen to be the most active terror groups today (well, if you don't count the various governments around the world that employ terror tactics). That said, the US does currently seem to be in a holy war against Islamist nations, and is using the convenient label of terrorist to do so. But that label is not restricted to brown people who pray towards mecca, or even just people who pray towards mecca... anyone, white, yellow red or brown can be labeled a suspect in the war on terror, and bundled away in a black bag, never to be seen again.

This guy was not labeled a terrorist because he didn't do it for a cause. He just did it 'cause he's nuts. If there were a cause, such as I donno, the IRA or something, he'd have been justly named a terrorist.

But who's more likely to be branded:
The white security concious fundamentalist or
The honest decent brown guy that for got to throw away his lighter at the airport?

I will go to the cinema and watch the Dark Knight Rises, for if I don’t, they win, and we lose.

In my opinion, the government is behind all this and if you go to see that movie, they win.

I think they did this whole thing as a ploy to:

1.) promote the movie
2.) use the shooting as a way to enforce stricter gun laws in the USSA
3.) use the shooting as a way to put through the "Obama Care" health plan, because of the stories about the "victims" not having health care

I think everyone in that particular theater where the shooting took place, was an actor.  If the showing was "sold out", that means that they had an opportunity to have all the tickets to that cinema pre-sold.

Either that or they actually did shoot those innocent people.  If that's the case, I think he was brainwashed by the government to pull off that act.

+1  Glad to see not everyone on here is brainwashed by the television.

Just curious - for those of you who think this shooting was real and not the media just making shit up, do you guys think we landed on the moon with '60s rocket technology too?

What of course not, those 60's cavemen were retards.
Nothing worth doing ever came out of any time but the one you live in. Wink

Curiosity right back at ya:
What is wrong with the "he's a psycho" theory?

What constitutes a bridge?
How do I know I'm not getting two planks from the underside, stuck together with goat's blood?
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: So I've got this bridge to sell on: July 29, 2012, 11:22:29 PM
Do you accept Tazcoin?
Only if there is a service such as Taz-Pay which will convert Tazcoins to USD for me automatically.

Sure, just reach into my pocket here, a little to the left.

On a serious note, I have concerns about doing business with the Amish.
They won't return any of my emails. Could be trouble makers.

Am I the only one who thinks all of these memes suck? I want something that I can share on facebook and all of my non-bitcoin using friends will "get" and look like fools at the same time.

The only one I thought was moderately good was the sanctioned muslim charities one. If I had some muslim friends, I'd share it.

No? Very easy to understand.
Maybe it won't make anyone feel stupid, but hey! it's a new world. Cheesy

This is brilliant.
Finally a conspiracy based on cold hard facts.
You can see all the evidence right in front of you.
Thanks, myrkul. I believe.

He was wearing SWAT type gear, they wouldn't let him where that inside.
Do you accept this?
He used a fire exit to go get his gear after going inside the theater as a normal person.

Orange hair and normal person just doesn't compute lol

I've seen way crazier hair on many people; in modern times strong hair colors aren't exactly rare.

but... but... it doesn't match his skin tone!  Huh
I was talking about artificially colored hair.

So was I.

Well, if it has the desired effect..

Here, RTE played the live feed and made their own commentary following a transcript they were given. Youtube videos show other countries doing the same. By the sound of this article it seems like NBC wanted their own camera work or nothing. Silly, silly NBC.
158  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Where do I get free Bitcoins? on: July 28, 2012, 06:53:11 PM
Strange, I got mine just 6 hrs after I did the captchas.
Received them from 1DdzSNTLCuTTiA2gPRz51qvc8dvJZ7X2rN

I still haven't received anything at the address I set up to test this out.

Is this your site Taz?

Has anyone else gotten anything from here?

Haha, nope not mine.
Don't know what else to tell you really.
Your address is definitely correct?
It will continue to next page regardless of whether you put in the address so make sure to do it each time.

I'm not trying to push a crappy website here, so I'll leave it at that.
Hope you figure it out.

Do you mean at the individual level, or at the level of a business, or at the level of one nation vs. another?
I think on all of those levels, we hold others to a higher standard than ourselves.

Individuals blame the government, government blames the idividuals.
Business doesn't give a shit, if they are forced by law or expectation to adopt new measures the can always use it as good publicity that they do so.

The Green movement aims to extend the lifetime of exploited resources of our environment.
Wow, never thought of it that way.
160  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is environmentalism, really? on: July 28, 2012, 05:03:41 PM
There is a lot of hypocrisy involved,
expecting everyone else to make measures we're not always wiiling to make ourselves.
