If bitcoin breaks $3000 level and enter below $1000 level, then just buy and forget for 2 or 3 years as it wont rise before that if seeing the past history. Because the investors sentiment will be hurt very badly after seeing $20k high level and now going below $1000. Bitcoin wont die but it will go to comma for some months. Till some high level of inside accumulation is not happened it wont spike. |

Do you remember the time before that, when the price dropped between 20% to 30$ and people were crying and moaning like they are doing now? Most of those people left the Bitcoin scene and some of them returned later and commented on Reddit on how stupid and trigger happy they were to sell those coins, when they panicked too early. History repeat it self over and over again and we are going through the same cycle now. Blood are on the street and people are running for the hills and the few people with balls, who stayed behind to fight, got all the spoils.  Perfectly said not only last year but even when the price hit high in MtGox exchange in 2014 and then it also got crashed and everyone was crying but who had faith were still holding and they got reward in 2017 and who stayed till last quarter enjoyed highest reward. So same we can expect now back when it will hit high but it will take time and we all have to be patience and buy in all dips so that we can earn high when it will hit high. |

I said 3800 is within $1000 of the bottom. I think I drop below 3000 is possible, but wouldn't last long. I think 3000s will end up the bottom and we'll be hanging around 3000s and 4000s for the most part until mid-2019
So as per your view, then it is a good time to start buying. but i think first the market will test the $3000 level and if it is broken then the next bottom no one knows it as the market will come in panic mode and how much low it will go no one knows it. So i think if you are thinking of investing then right now only buy 20% of you investment and wait for another dip and then buy same way so your buying price will be averaged. |

Using crypto has a ton of benefits that the majority of the population aren't aware of because of its technological nature. Makes it seems much more complicated than it is.
You get to have control over your funds, transactions are cheap, and no one can know how much money you have (financial privacy), etc. Most people would understand these things.
Why isn't this being promoted? Why is there no crypto lobby?

OMG! That's enormous!, sorry for your loss, it would be of great help if you could elaborate where coins where held, is it a multi wallet(If Yes, which wallet ?) how it happen or what you could think have happened ? A malware installation, phishing site and or anything that is more specific.
The coins were held in these locations (order corresponding to the list in my first posting): Currency Place DASH Qt-Wallet on Laptop BCH ElectronCash on Laptop BTC Binance.com BTC Kraken.com NEM Simplewallet on Laptop BURST Desktop wallet on Laptop BTC Exodus wallet on Laptop OmiseGo Exodus wallet on Laptop LTC Exodus wallet on Laptop BCH Exodus wallet on Laptop DASH Exodus wallet on Laptop Basically it was a stupid combination of failures. I use Windows 10 and tried to claim BTCP and BCD. Both with the Electrum version for their blockchains. I used the same long password for different things - especially my password safe had the same pw as the DASH QT wallet. So after I started the Electrum clients (which I tested before with Defender, SuperAntiSpyware and www.virustotal.com) I had to do a little thing in DASHQT - that was it - the one of the wallets, most likely BCD, spied my password through a keylogger and the hacker had access to everything. (there is no need to discuss the stupidity of using Win10, same passwords many times, storing 2FA codes in password safes or testing new software on a vulnerable system) In your comment itself you have told how you got robbed, This mainly happens when claiming the hardfork coins, Before also lot of users got hacked due to it. Your first fault was that you are using same computer for surfing and saving your all important wallets and documents. Second fault using same password everywhere, this made easy job for the hacker to hack all your wallets and other online places. But you are telling that your BINANCE AND KRAKEN exchange also got hacked but this both exchange you should have enabled the 2fa security then how did he got hacked it. If you have to enabled the 2fa then it is really very bad that you are too careless with your security features which made you this much big loss. This is really a very costly lesson for you being careless with your security features. |
