141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guess the Bitcoin Gold initial value? on: October 17, 2017, 03:03:36 AM
Hi All,

I'm curious how much everyone things Bitcoin Gold will initially be worth?  Also, at what price point do you think it has to be before everyone starts mining it?

I wonder if it's going to in the low cents like .002 cent coins, or if it's going to be in the hundreds like Bitcoin Cash was.
I believe that the bitcoin gold will be worth double digit it cause by the bitcoin gold is the gpu based coin and that will be so easy to mine use your gpu to get the bitcoin gold. That will be different with bitcoin cash.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading airdrop scam on: October 17, 2017, 03:01:04 AM
All the  Airdrops are not scams.
All of the airdrop token will be a scam if all of the sources that related to the development and community management already deleted by the scammer just like what happens with ebtc in the previosu week.
All airdrop just scam.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet on: October 17, 2017, 02:55:26 AM
how to have gas in myetherwallet, how does transaction works? please tell me.
Send or buy ethereum from the exchange sites or anywhere and then try to move all of your ethereum into your myetherwallet account and that was so easy. The transaction works if you are putting ethereum as the gas to pay the network fees.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and ICO's on: October 15, 2017, 09:44:59 AM
I was looking at ETH and as far as I understand, this coin is mainly successful because of the ICO's nowadays.

ICO's are booming and it looks like it never ends. But what if all ideas are gone and the amount of new coins which use/ need ETH are decreasing. Would this have much effect on the price?

Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong?

Nope, about the icos that just like a bonus because a lot of people are feeling convenience to use the ethereum caused by the network is ease for use. But that will give any impact to the price. Ico's booming make people are buying ether more and more.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for Ethereum on: October 15, 2017, 09:42:41 AM
Hi All,

I setup my Ethereum wallet long ago, sometime in early 2016 if I remember correct. I saved my wallet in a safe place and since then I haven't used it.

Now, Ethereum has undergone several developments, 1 hard fork (Ethereum Classic) and so on. I would like to know which wallet should I use? Are the latest versions of the wallet compatible with previous versions? Can I import my old wallet file into a new one? I think the format of the wallet was in JSON before. Please let me know. Thanks.

As long as you are still having your own private key and you can do anything with your wallet.  You can try to use your json in my etherwallet and if you are looking about the wallet that will have supported the fork and you must try wait the more announcement soon.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: October 12, 2017, 12:00:32 PM
Sometimes i want just to stop reading in this forum, stop trading altcoins und leave my wallets for like 5 years.
I have the same thought with you but it seems i need to collect the more coin to be my portfolio, i hope in some years and all of my portfolio will be worth double digits. I just participated in some icos and hold em all for the long term investment.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - HODL? on: October 12, 2017, 11:54:26 AM
Long term hodl for me this. It's a platform and still in its early days.

Maybe $20+ in 2019.
I hold all of my arktoken and this was very different with the lisk token, ark will provide the cross bridge to the various blockchain and that makes the ark will try to adopt all of the ecosystem and try to mix it into the one form and that makes you able to jump from one to others.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next ICO x10? on: October 12, 2017, 11:53:13 AM
I've been following the development of BOOSTEROID  project for a while. The team hopes that their coin will rise in price 1000 times. And that's not just claims that seems to be quite possible. Moreover, the project already has quite a large support from investors all over the world. So I believe this is the one, you were asking about.

In your opinion  wich  is  the next ICO  that  will  go  x10?
there are some promising icos in my opinion just like snip, ethbooks and eidoo. You can see the latest ico that raised very good price in after the token already listed on the market. and i think kyber should become the main ico to reach a lot of value caused by vitalik butterin friend's project. Snip will be the next great thing.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any up and coming ICOs that are worth to invest? on: October 11, 2017, 08:57:32 AM
Snip is really good project for you as you can see about the fact the crowdsale raised a lot of emount and that was partnering with adex and it may try to expand into some communities in this crypto space.
You may never miss it.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with altcoin? on: October 10, 2017, 09:27:06 AM
Since the cryptocurrency market has been expanded tremendously, there are lots of people who have the cryptocurrency.
But, we do not really concern about how we use the cryptocurrency except investing. Do have any experience using cryptocurrency except investing? Please share Smiley
What about mcdonald, Thailand's mcdonald already accepted omg to be the payment. I've experience buy some vps use the crypto currency but looks the crypto still not familiar. A lot of the project still under the development progress. And A lot of my experience to buy everything related to the bitcoin usage.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO SPOT A WINNING ICO on: October 10, 2017, 09:25:06 AM
I agree with all points. There is really a big factor when the founders know the project very well and how it will go in the end. The details anf the possible outcome of the project. The team as a whole must have update as well with what's going on or the current situation of the project. I guess, there must be transparency between the team and the investors.
Not only about the transparency but the developers or the team should made special report about the development progress, The transparency about the fund will be appreciated in my opinion.
Because the investors need to know about what already happened with it.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ways do you know to get new coins? on: October 10, 2017, 09:23:42 AM
Best way to get "free" coins is to work for the devs
Bounties or translation will make your wallet happy =)
+ Kiss
Another way to get the more altcoin such as make the signature design to the project and offering your service, if the developers are interested with your offer and you will be included in the team.
I saw some people are offering their service to the developers. You can try to make a blog.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About bitcoin gpu new fork and bitcoin cash on: October 07, 2017, 08:26:36 AM
what happen if i still need to reedem bitcoin cash can i use the same private key to reedem later bitcoin gpu? or i must redeem now bitcoin cash to reedem later bitcoin gpu?
You can't do that, But you can redeem both of token with your bitcoin if you are never trying to redeem bitcoin cash. You must try to send your bitcoin to the wallet that supported the bitcoin cash, and after that you must try to move your bitcoin into the wallet that will be supported the bitcoin gold.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Authorship scammed it investor's? on: October 07, 2017, 08:25:06 AM
Since the end of the ICO, Authorship has been having alot of problem..they decide to take a break for a week.it now more than a week and we haven't heard anything from them..they provided that the starting price of ATS was supposed to be 0.15$.but ATS is presently trading at 0.0011$ @ etherdelta. PeterAuthorship https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1091771 I think your nap time is now over.come back and finish what you started.
That was scamming the investors with a lot of the bullshit and not only the investors because the bounty participant get impact to, A lot of the bounty participant didn't get their payment due to the unknown reason.
I just think they must leave from there to minimize the loss caused by its scam token.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone care about Bitcoin Gold or is it just Seqwit 2x?? on: October 07, 2017, 08:23:03 AM
Hey,

Are we seeing a sell off in the Altcoin market again due to BTC and everyone wanting their 'free money'?

Seems most Altcoins are almost at the bottom of their cycles, is this due to people selling back into BTC? I'm also aware there is a lot more competition out there with all the ICO's.

Could this continue all the way through October and November until BTC stabilises? Then there could be a huge upside, better leave Alts and wait?

What is your strategy going forward?

Thanks,

Rich
Nope, because the hardfork of the bitcoin will be at the same time with the hardfork of the ethereum itself, I just think there will be the main coin to dump and that was bitcoin cash. Because that generated from the free airdrop and those are free to leaving from the bitcoin cash and move again to the bitcoin.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: More airdrops on the way? on: October 07, 2017, 08:21:32 AM
With the recent hype surrounding the eBTC airdrop that some did, and many did not, have a chance to participate in (and then all the follow up airdrops which have occured: eLTC, eDASH etc) I was wondering what people's opinions were on the future of airdrops and ICOs?

I think that we are going to see a massive influx of airdrops personally. I don't mean silly little clone and satirical coins (eETH) I mean genuine companies, who would of otherwise had an ICO, beginning to see the benefits of having an airdrop instead.

With all the countries that are currently banning ICOs (china, korea etc) I'm starting to think that companies who need to get a small boost of capital to complete a task in their roadmap may well start looking towards organised airdrops.

With the proof of a solid community (eBTC) it seems that it is possible to acquire value for the token prior to trading etc. While this one may be an anomaly I think the concept of free distribution of a small amount of coins could be the way that many crypto companies start heading with regards to pre release capital acquisition.

Thoughts?
But as you can see a lot of the new airdrop was coming caused by the successful ebtc itself, but if you are thinking about the organized airdrop and that will be difficult because as you can see the fact that a lot of the airdrop token worth nothing this time. There are some airdrop that still exist this time.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find coins to trade based on volatility on: October 02, 2017, 01:35:47 PM
Hi all,

I am fairly new to crypto trading, and I have a question. I have dabbled in options trading, and I know that volatility is super important when it comes to trading. Seems like the same goes for alt coin trading. Volatility is the reason why crypto is so exciting. I am wondering if there are any tools, such as a scanner, that can tell you which coins are the most volatile in a given period of time? If not, how do you all determine which coins to trade on a daily basis? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, I am just wondering where people with experience in crypto trading go to find coins they would like to trade in the short term? Thanks in advance!
The volatility of token can be determined by the daily trade volume that already reached by such coin or token, just like there are some altcoins which had some millions dollars in daily trade volume.
I can say you doesn't need any tool to determined about how the volatility of the token itself.
158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Japanese exchanges have begun to receive formal licences from their regulator on: September 30, 2017, 10:44:14 PM
Japan has now licenced 11 exchanges:

http://uk.reuters.com/article/us-japan-bitcoin/japans-fsa-gives-official-endorsement-to-11-cryptocurrency-exchanges-idUKKCN1C40T9?il=0

That's more exchanges than most countries have! Looks like now it's legal, they'll try to gain market share and dominance in the crypto space.
I told you the volume that already traded in the korean exchange site will try to migrate into the japan exchange site. I mean a lot of the traders are feeling convenient to see they are all using the legal exchange site which means they will not get another attack or pressure again by the goverment or ministry like what was happening in the korean and china.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrencies regulated from October 1 in China! on: September 30, 2017, 02:33:30 PM
https://news.bitcoin.com/virtual-currencies-expected-to-regulated-in-china-on-october-1st/

If this is true (laught at Sep 31), might boost bitcoin, thus all the crypto, mainly NEO/GAS, which is about to get eth-like rise soon with the first ICO on NEO platform on Oct 8 and possibly becoming the only platform for ICOs in China with the support of China. NEO is currently a technically better platform than Ethereum and with a great community and developers.
This caused the price of bitcoin goes up again, But that will be a good thing if that will be applicable to all of the crypto currencies, But as far as i know that will be related to the all of the cryptos, Even i heard there are some stock market are considering about to build the exchange site for the operational of the token as security.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waltonchain - Promising coin? on: September 28, 2017, 10:38:00 AM
Huge project with only 35 million marketcap.

Some info:
- Chinese Version of IOTA
- government officials
- got an investment from the government of fujian providence.
- member Jin Xiji, former Samsung Vice President
- only 100 million max supply

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/walton/

What do you think?
If that was having a relationship with the government and is this can be considered as the government token with centralization system rather than used the decentralized system. But can you provide me the more information regarding the government fujian providence already invested in there. Is walton didn't included in the pboc ban list?
