Recently added a batch 15. all the miners run between 58-63c. except for 1 blade of 1 miner runs in the 68-71c range. not sure why. havent taken it apart to check yet. All miners are overclocked, 4 @ 731, 2 @ 650
the ambient on the hot side is about 80F. been thinking about stacking the miners vertically and building a box with an extrator fan to suck out the heat and pump it into my air return. But with the 1/2 only a few months away and "maybe" new machines idk if its worth building yet. as the 1/2 may force out the smaller home miner like myself.

CKDB crashed at 23:01:47 UTC No miners were affected since it was ckdb only, not ckpool. Since it's so big it took 10 minutes (and 11 seconds) to crash (to write the core file) It's on it's way back up again and should be all back to normal in less than 5 more minutes. Edit: restart complete at 23:26:07.943 UTC Edit2: yes I am working on fixing it so it doesn't happen due to the same cause again - the core dump showed clearly why (if anyone was wondering) Curious mind wants to know why. If you are able to share.

its good to see we can power through an almost 500% block in 27 hours.
That block would have taken ages just a couple months ago.

my question is. why the 1 fan all of a sudden.
If the machine could run well on 1 fan why have 15 batches before with 2 fans.
Is this in preparation for a new unit to field test with 1 fan. will be interesting to see how these function in a home miner environment where heat can be an issue at times.

I dont want to speak for kano about his rules. but i believe he goes by current avg. so your current average shouldnt spike for a short rental. 12T hit a block when he was first ramping up for a low cdf (lower cdfs later on beat him) but his avg was in the correct range at the time.

I did some investigating of the AC. The AC coil and front end inside the front cover was covered in ice, thus not putting out very cold air evenly across the front of the AC. I understand that will happen when the air outside is colder than the air in the room. It was down below freezing last night. I'm "defrosting" now. I think that was the problem. I shall know soon enough. Thank you for the replies! ah. ya i had the same issue recently with the house ac. turned out it was low on gas which caused the coil and the pipes to freeze. how old is the unit? any funny smells recently around the units?

what rpm are the fans running?
were they getting clean filtered air? I should be the heat sinks are dirty or clogged.
you could also try giving it a like shake to see if you hear noise could be loose heatsinks

not a bad morning so far. waking up to 4 blocks and a steady 35PH.
When will those people learn that use kano for backup to make it their primary.

This pool has failed to payout for the last 20 days. I have tried to do a manual cashout and each time I get the error "manual payouts have been disabled"
Yes there is a ticket it about it. and all we got was "it will be fixed in a few days" That lie was told to us 15+ days ago and still nothing.
Fix your stuff all ready tired of waiting weeks to withdraw my coins.
I recommend people move their power to another pool till they fix this bs.
Hell the paid shares has had a bug since idk how long that all it does is show "updating". Now that I read about people getting coins/hash power stolen from them I wonder if it really is a bug or a way to steal as I can not validate how many shares I am being paid for.

Uh oh... my Internet is getting glitchy. I have 64% packet loss to kano.is at the moment. I'm turning on the backup WAN (cellular hotspot) just in case Comcast goes down completely.
ive thought of getting one of those mobile hotspots but usually if my internet goes out the power goes out shortly after. waiting for google fiber to hit town so i can ditch timewarner. Explain this they offer 100 down but they offer is 5 up. wtf is that service. 21 blocks in 3 days and 15 hours

we want MORE. must have more blocks. would be nice to see a steady 6-10 blocks everyday. Mining seems a lot like sailing to me. nice gusts of wind (lots of blocks) to move you along at a steady pace. Then doldrums (no/very few blocks) where you could swim faster then the boat is going. but in the end you get to where you are going on time cus they average out.

why has this troll been allowed 8 pages of mindless and childish statements. cant we get this thread locked to shut this fool up, or just ban his account from the forum. stupid keyboard warrior go back to the hole you crawled out of.
no one cares about your stupid fix for an altcoin hardware issue. if you want people that care go to the litecoin forum. and No hardware is not hardware when the hardware in question cant be used for what this forum was created for, bitcoin mining. if you want to prove hardware is not software specific then load up a copy of cgminer on your pi and have your zeus start mining bitcoins. once you can prove that it works then we might care till then piss off.

Hi. I have trouble receiving payments. At the moment of register for the pool I forgot to place the bitcoin address and did not receive payments. I already set the direction but still not reach my wallet payments.
how large are your payments? are they greater then the dust level payment? if not then you wont get them till kano implements auto pay. if larger then contact kano or wait for him to post. he might have held them cus you didnt have a payment address.
