141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: February 11, 2016, 03:44:42 PM
I have considered telling my family and some of my friends about Bitcoin but whenever I've tried, they fail to understand why it does have value and why it is extremely important specially in the current socioeconomic context.. they don't get it and see it as something really strange. Needless to say I wouldn't tell them to put any money on it. In a way it feels like im keeping something amazing to myself, but at the same time, I don't want to put people into the pressure of holding through rallies long term because most people aren't cut for that.

How to introduce Bitcoin to absolutely clueless people and is there even a point? Should we just let time pass and wait for them to naturally learn about it once it goes more mainstream?

It might sound like a Herculean task to explain the concept of bitcoins to other people but the truth is that it eventually pays off. I have talked to quite a good number of people about bitcoins and a few of them have responded positively. This makes it easier because I have people I can deal with locally. When I feel like selling bitcoins I first contact this people before I go online.

143  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system do you use? Windows? Linux? Mac? other? on: February 11, 2016, 03:27:19 PM
Since I started using computers, I have been using Windows. I have never liked Linux because of the limits in functionalities. Windows simplifies everything to the extend that my three year old son operates without any problem.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be Bitcoin Price After 3 months? on: February 11, 2016, 03:17:17 PM
Most people are speculating that the price of Bitcoin will rise but I think the rise might be short term. In three months time, the price might still be at around $350-$400

146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: February 11, 2016, 03:06:42 PM
When playing roulette I am always trying to stick to 1 color red or black and trying to make some profit from there and I avoid alternating different bets but this is just me Smiley And as the guys said above me just put everything on the table and hope for a win and then leave.

Can u tell how much times u can get one colour in the row? And do u have some numbers how many times u miss red or black? Im very interested in other peoples opinion about this. I lost on roulette 0.2 btc, i chased red but i got many many blacks and couple zeros. My starting bet was 100 satoshis..

I tried playing red/black using basic martingale and won big. Unfortunately, I was using a no-deposit bonus therefore the win was of no consequence. I feared to deposit because I thought this could be a hoax to get my coins.
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 11, 2016, 03:00:51 PM
I have done several purchases online using bitcoins. I paid for a website hosting using bitcoins and bought gaming apps through xapo using bitcoins.

I cannot understand completely what this guy means. He says he got 10k followers and that he is giving free bitcoins. There is something wrong with this post.
149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 11, 2016, 02:37:49 PM
I really need this card. Sometimes it is very difficult to get an exchange for bitcoins when you have a large amount of bitcoins. I need to withdraw directly from a visa branded or MasterCard branded ATM.

It is booked on our to do list. But we have some catch up to do from player requests.
Leader boards

We will advise when we start BUT still a bit away.  Thanks for valuable feedback...

I always appreciate your fast response. We look forward to the changes.

154  Economy / Economics / Re: When A Super Rich Person Buys A Yacht Do More Africans Suffer? on: February 11, 2016, 01:32:34 PM
I wish this topic could be more specific. Are we talking about the super rich in Africa or super rich in Europe/America/Asia?. If we are talking about the super rich in Africa, then it is a matter of concern. Rich people in Africa are known to exploit the poor for their own gains. If I saw a super rich person in Africa owning a yacht, then definitely it affects the African directly.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 11, 2016, 01:16:36 PM
Human beings have different forms of addiction in day to day life. Everyone is addicted to an activity that he or she obtains pleasure while doing it. Some are addicted to cigarettes while others are addicted to beer. Some are addicted to sex while others are addicted to gambling. Therefore, it is the pleasure that is obtained while gambling that makes people be addicted to it.

158  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 0.001 BTC or more per day (without investment) on: February 08, 2016, 12:18:27 PM
Yes its a faucet with 0 sec limit time between claims.

When you mention a faucet with 0 seconds limit, what comes to mind is satoshisevens/satoshieight etc. These are scams that will never pay you. If you have received a payout from them yourself then you need to post the prove here instead of spreading your ref. Link. Both you and your referrals will not be paid.

160  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 08, 2016, 12:03:31 PM
I would advice you to buy as much as you can, most probably 100 bitcoins. By the time you retire in 20 yours, the price would have increased 1000th fold and you will be able to live a comfortable life.
