how long should we wait till you make down email notification ? 4% fee is not enough to add this useful feature ?
E-mail notification of miner failure is available for many months already. You can see it on the news panel at the left side of the page :)
And the default fee is 3%, not 4%.

BTW, I agree with the others - the payment option was a disastrous choice too.
Sorry, but what can be easier than accepting bitcoins ?
143  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3700 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: May 04, 2013, 09:04:19 PM
What's going on is, not having received any payouts even though the pool found blocks.
Furthermore, I received a single payout out of the blue while purportedly mining at 0Mh/s
Automatic payment is triggered if your balance is over your payment threshold and at least 24 hours passed since the previous payment.
So I can guess that 24h timer triggered while you were mining at 0 MH/s.

Thanks but I need to know if cgminer is recommended or not for this pool. I don't see this miner at the list of miners recommended for this pool. Is any reason for this?
Actually yes, at this moment cgminer is possibly the best miner for deepbit.

Wouldn't Dynamic or User Defined Difficulty be more important than Stratum for ASIC mining?  Or is it easier to implement both at the same time?
Even with higher share difficulty ASIC miners will still have to request new work frequently. This problem can be solved by either ntime rolling or stratum-compatible protocol. First solution is, of course, much simpler, but people will seek for "stratum" pools because they think that those are "asic-ready".

Whats going on Tycho?
As far as I can tell, everything is working fine.
Or are you experiencing some specific problem that I'm unaware of ?

Is Stratum support planned ?
Yes.
148  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3700 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: May 03, 2013, 05:14:16 AM
Website will be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, please wait.
Mining is not affected by this.

Transaction not found
Well, it means that it wasn't received by blockchain.info and we'll have to wait for our pool to solve a new block to confirm it. Sometimes this happens, sorry.

Hello, i have requested instant payout but not receive it. I can not see a transaction logged on blockexplorer.

https://blockexplorer.com/tx/3a1ea6f7bf4995fbc36e02c3a6df271bafe2152e43c10f36f61a68020a2ef421

Error
No such transaction
Blockexplorer only shows confirmed TXes. Try switching to blockchain.info at the pool's options page.

@ [tycho] Impossible to PM you and no answer from the DeepBit account, so I'll try again here.
I never received the confirmation mail when I switched bitcoin address.
Yes, looks like the problem is in your e-mail service. I'll send you a message manually, from gmail now.

UPD: Solved.
152  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3700 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: May 02, 2013, 05:27:30 AM
I think what he means is that the proportion of shares is similar in each round, but the payment is different. I think your prop fee is 3%, so:

6041  /   19191553 * 25 * 0.97 =  0.007633267, was paid only 0.00361762
340    /   1080488 * 25 * 0.97 =   0.007630811
2355  /   7643323 * 25 * 0.97 =  0.007471717
Oh, sorry, didn't read this carefully enough.
Then maybe he temporarily switched some of his miners to PPS mode ? PPS reward is not shown in this table.

Pool's website is temporarily unavailable, I'm working on this.
Mining shouldn't be affected.
154  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3700 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: May 02, 2013, 05:05:57 AM
29.04 05:35:56   9h 28m   6041      19191553    0.00361762 <-------------------------------------- (Block 233685)
28.04 20:07:17   0h 30m   340           1080488    0.00763081
28.04 19:37:10   3h 35m   2355   7643323    0.00734798

Worker payout method was proportional for all these blocks, so it is expected to get paid pretty evenly for each block,  with condition that ratio of pool hash rate / my hash rate stays the same.  As you may see by the number of my shares and the total number of shares for each block in the sample it is true, how do you explain more than 50% cut for block 233685?
It may be cause by some connectivity problems between the pool and your miner, so less shares were submitted during this round. Can you check this ?
155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: May 01, 2013, 06:29:11 AM
Another question: I use cgminer for mining, but when I connected to the mine, it always shows “GPU0: Invalid Nonce HW error”, about 50% of how much I accepted. I wonder if there is any thing wrong with my graphic card? And why it happens so frequently....
I think that this may not be related to the pool. It's possible that your GPU is overheating or it's overclocked. Please check the temperature of your card's GPU and VRM. If it's not overheated then it may be not in the best possible shape.

Some transactions may be too small or have low priority or fail to propagate for other reasons, those will be confirmed by our own blocks and will appear in the blockchain after that.
157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: May 01, 2013, 12:43:18 AM
Round duration can vary. This very long round already finished, so account balances will be updated in next hours.
This doesn't happens in PPS mode, that's why it has higher fee.
whats the update cylcle of the balance? Today I got an entry at 6.04 am and next at 17.02 and amount of BTC is the same as the entry before from 1:00 to 6.04.
You just quoted my answer up there. Round duration is different each time in Proportional mode.

theymos told me what happened with the PMs (thought I still don't know HOW this happened), hope this will be fixed soon.
159  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Mining issues / connection problems on: April 30, 2013, 10:24:46 AM
It seems it crunches 1 block then for a min or so it sits until it gets another block
Is this a problem on my end or deepbit?
Are you using guiminer or poclbm ? Looks like there is a bug in poclmb code.
You can try to use cgminer or guiminer+cgminer combo to check if that was the issue.
160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: April 29, 2013, 02:38:13 AM
I tried a new wallet address and no email confirmation. I sent you a PM with my username.
PM received, will check the issue today.
