141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for Alt Coins? on: March 15, 2024, 02:46:23 AM
I have around 2.1k in btc rn and was wondering if I should sell it and invest in a couple of altcoin projects, would that be a good idea? I know Bitcoin will never ever do another 5x in the near future haha so that's kind of why I would wanna sell. The market cap of btc would have to reach a very high amount for it to be life-changing money to me.

It's altcoin and bitcoin bullrun season. This is something that rarely happens and usually only happens during the bitcoin halving moment. I think $2k is a big amount but I don't know what price you bought Bitcoin at that time. In my opinion I would take 50% to trade altcoins. I think bitcoin is the safest savings asset so I wouldn't throw it all away on altcoins. Because when I get a profit from altcoins I will definitely re-invest in Bitcoin.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most investors keeps off from AltCoins because they're not good crypto analysts. on: March 15, 2024, 02:34:19 AM
Yes and it has something to do with risk appetite. Major coins in the market are known to have slight market price movement on a daily basis, except when there is a bullish pattern such as what we are seeing at the present. There are people who are earning big profit from new altcoins and also people who are doing well with estabished ones. That's just it; what's bad is to engage into something you know nothing about and it is simply better to know what would work best for you as I said.

When it comes to the best, I'm sure everyone wants to invest in Bitcoin. But the problem is that Bitcoin doesn't always provide huge returns and there is a lot in the news about people getting rich from altcoins. Growth of up to hundreds of times makes everyone tempted to buy altcoins.
I also invest in altcoins. And I'm not a good analyst. Therefore I only try to invest in coins in the top 100 or 200 CMC. I read a lot and hear several people's analysis of a coin. But I still make decisions based on my own choices. But what you need to remember is that when I get around 50% profit or more, then I will TP and save everything in Bitcoin.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is $PENG The Coolest New Memecoin on Solana? on: March 14, 2024, 02:12:06 PM
For anyone who is new to memecoins or the Solana space, then $PENG is a great place to start. It's easy to get involved, the vibe is still warming up and who knows, you might just end up with a bag full of $PENG and some hilarious stories to tell.
So, do you think about joining this cool penguin party on Solana?

Investing in meme coins is very risky. Because most of the prices are pumped up by hype and will immediately undergo a sharp correction. I just saw a user discussing PENG here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5488775.msg63801660#msg63801660. It looks like it is indeed one of the potential meme coins. But in the last 24 hours the price has been pumped up and is almost to $1. I think it's a bit expensive for a meme coin. What makes people like meme coins is that they are very cheap so it's like buying in large quantities. I already said I would try investing a few dollars there. I also have BONK and PEPE and I have made 100% profit because of the hype last week. But I am not encouraging anyone else to invest and this is not financial advice.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH, SOL or other... Who will be the protagonist of this cycle? on: March 14, 2024, 01:52:17 PM
Which assets would you bet on to be the winner of this click (which will rise the most)?
Which memecoins do you think has the potential to stand out among them all? Doge, Floki, pepe and etc?
I will also include AI and gamefy

Many say Solana is good but I think Dencun ETH's upgrade will still make ETH the number one altcoin in the world. Both are equally good and currently the Solana network is growing rapidly with many new projects and airdrops there.

I think PEPE and DOGE will be the most popular meme coins. SHIB and FLOKI also have potential but SHIB is still not showing signs of bullishness.

Now I think the era of AI is over. Most AI coins have already hit their ATH and now they have entered the saturation phase. Invest with your own responsibility.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new meme coins with potential? on: March 14, 2024, 01:42:15 PM
Many meme coins seem to have skyrocketed.

The ones that have peaked recently, like PEPE and Harambe, seem kind of risky to get it, at these heights. Of course, they may continue climbing up, now that they have gained the focus.
Any new ones that you think might go high, when it's still early on?

I see PENG at MEXC, for example, having break its previous resistance, right now, and going up. Do you think this can be a thing?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

I like meme coins, but I wouldn't invest much in them. To be honest, this is the first time I have heard of the PENG coin and I couldn't find complete data on cmc (https://coinmarketcap.com/id/currencies/peng/). But I read on the community page that this coin is already pumped 96% and now the price is around $0.8. That's quite expensive for a meme coin. But I read a lot of good responses to PENG coin (https://coinmarketcap.com/community/id/articles/65f2faa7767e7d0693648cc9/). Guess I'll try investing a few dollars in it. Of course this is not financial advice and an invitation to invest. Stay DWYOR. Your money is your responsibility.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 14, 2024, 10:17:55 AM
I think mbappe has a great impact on PSG, the star has been doing absolutely well from his day one in PSG,I think mbappe leaving the team is going to affect the team a little bit, because they will still need to rebuild the team, and this can only be possible if PSG look out to buy quality player like mbappe that can fit the position.

I think currently there are no players at Mbappe's level except for Haaland, Osimhen, Vini and several other world class players who play at big clubs. PSG should be able to find a replacement for Mbappe but I don't think they need to look for someone at Mbappe's level. That would be difficult and even impossible in my opinion. But I think they can look for another quality striker because they don't need a player at Mbappe's level to compete in Ligue 1. PSG are very strong in all areas. I think they will still be able to dominate Ligue 1 with another striker who is one level below Mbappe.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite blockchain? on: March 12, 2024, 02:48:46 PM
I have used several blockchains, although not as many as you have used. And I personally prioritize low transaction fees as a priority, followed by transaction speed. I often carry out many transactions on a small scale, such as participating in pre-sales, airdrop contests, or sending small amounts of tokens to my friends. And therefore I think I need low costs. Of course it would be funny if you sent $7 and then you paid a gas fee of $10. So for now I choose BNB/BSC and LTC networks as my favorites. Both have very, very low costs. I use the BSC network more often because it supports sending across many layer-2 tokens/projects.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in a newly project is worth it or not ? on: March 12, 2024, 02:31:24 PM
Guys i am a trader but i never invested in the new projects but i know some guys who perform trading on newly projects and take a good profit from it so i am decided to do that as well so i found a project called Minerpepe and its offers mining through the smart contract i have checked the dapp their pools are not live but when i connect my wallet nothing is stolen so its look safe and when i dig more i found out their fairlaunch on pinksale is coming in next 24 hours and after the launch their pools got live i have witnessed a projects who offers good rewards through mining pool for the early birds so what you guys think participating in the initial sale of a token is safe or not?
Website link given below

Website: https://minerpepe.com/

First, never use your main wallet to try new projects. You don't know whether the project will be a scam or not just because they don't take your coins at that time. Always use a dedicated wallet for new projects.

I looked at the website and it looks like it's another meme coin that uses the big name PEPE to attract investors. In the past there was also a PEPEMO project which used the name PEPE. In my personal opinion, to be honest, meme projects are not good projects to invest in because you need the power of the community to pump up the price. I read briefly in the project that it mentioned that early adopters would benefit from MPEPE tokens. That's great but if there isn't a big community then it will just be another shitcoin of meme projects.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Thriving in 2024: Should We Embrace More Crypto Fun? on: March 12, 2024, 02:21:03 PM
Meme-coins like Pepe, Shiba Inu (SHIB), Floki, and Dogecoin (DOGE) have been thriving in 2024, riding a wave of hype and community momentum. This meme-coin craze is fascinating and entertaining, capturing the spirit of crypto with meme-inspired branding and dedicated communities.

However, I can't help but feel like we need more meme mania in the crypto space! These meme-coins have proven they can captivate investors and enthusiasts. Imagine if more platforms and projects embraced memes, hosting contests and challenges for the ultimate meme maniacs. It could engage communities, spark creativity, and even discover the next big memecoin sensation.

So with this, I'd like to ask. Have you come across any meme contests lately?

So far I haven't found any contests with meme coins. Honestly I don't like meme coins because they have no fundamentals and just ride on hype from the community. But now several meme coins have started to develop more use cases. Shiba, Doge, Pepe and Bonk have started making several developments to make their coins more useful. Maybe in the future they will create a meme coin contest. But I personally don't like meme coins because of the extremely high volatility and price pumping from the community. This is my personal opinion.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most investors keeps off from AltCoins because they're not good crypto analysts. on: March 12, 2024, 02:11:58 PM
Big investors, really avoid altcoins as a place to increase the money they have. because altcoins are very volatile, making them uncomfortable investing there. This is different from Bitcoin which is calmer and definitely increases from year to year.
Instead of losing money because there is a price game in altcoins, it is better to choose something that is more certain.

If you have thousands of dollars and want to invest in crypto I think I would suggest investing in Bitcoin, Ethereum or BNB. Just those 3 coins. It is the safest option and can give you good returns. Of course they don't give you huge returns like altcoins but I think most altcoin projects will die when their popularity declines. You can see from 2017 until now how many altcoins in the top 100 are still surviving? I think it's only about 10%. So if you are a good crypto observer, of course you will invest in Bitcoin, ETH or BNB. But if you are trying to speculate and gain big profits, you can try altcoins. But still move to Bitcoin when you have made a profit.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nfts projects next in line for the bull run? on: March 12, 2024, 02:00:07 PM
I have just checked this project and to be honest I didn't find it much appealing as it doesn't have anything new to offer as it's same old NFT collectible token and there are hundreds like this in the market and moreover the era of NFT tokens has already passed and people are no longer interested in paying huge amount for an digital art as they did at one point due to influencers and celebrity endorsement. I personally wouldn't be bothered to invest into this coin.

I agree with you, NFTs only have a momentary hype and to be honest they don't have any fundamentals except just a useless crypto. I personally don't like NFTs because of their ridiculous prices. And in the past many artists and influencers promoted Nfts but in the end they tried to take advantage and then let nfts collapse. I thought how could anyone be interested in a digital image that has no real use case?
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use profits from the crypto market? on: March 11, 2024, 03:15:50 PM
Let's say that for now my profit from cryptocurrencies is really minimal, i hope to increase in the future, luckily i don't need it for everyday life so I reinvest them (the profits) completely, more precisely i put them on stake

What do you mean by staking your investment? It's much better than leaving your coins in your wallet. But you have to choose a trusted exchange for staking. You are lucky because you can use all your initial capital and crypto profits to keep investing in crypto. If you can hold your altcoins for a long time while still staking your coins, I am sure you will gain a lot of profit in the future.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How high will altcoins fly? on: March 11, 2024, 03:05:44 PM
Bitcoin price has almost reached $70k and Altcoins marketing also flying with Bitcoin including most of top altcoins. But as we know that, Bitcoin halving is on the way. So i expect correction in Bitcoin price as well as  the effect should be seen in altcoins market too but is that going to happened? Are we gonna have one more chance to buy altcoins with low price ? What do you think about this

Bitcoin has risen up to 200% if we look from mid-2023. That is a significant increase for Bitcoin. And some altcoins have recorded bigger gains and some altcoins have even hit their ATH. Meme coins, AI coins and RWA coins have risen 3-8 times this year. So actually altcoins rose much more than Bitcoin. But you have to be able to find an altcoin that has an increase of more than 200% if you want to get more profits from Bitcoin. I mean if you only get 100% upside then it's much better to invest in Bitcoin because it's a haven for crypto.

If you want to do short term trading and follow the trending narrative, I think you can convert 50% of your Bitcoin to altcoins. You can choose several altcoins with narratives that are currently trending, such as AI and Defin. They can give you profits of up to hundreds of percent. But don't put your money in many portfolios. You can put it in 2 to 5 altcoins. And if the price has risen high, you can take profit and buy Bitcoin again. Altcoins can give you huge profits but the best investment is still Bitcoin.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any chances of success? on: March 11, 2024, 02:44:59 PM
At the moment I have saved up about 18 thousand $, the profit is currently 35%.
Please give comments about the quality of the assets in the portfolio and the possible profits that can be expected.

You have the best coins on the market. All your portfolios are big cap coins and have very good fundamentals. It is almost impossible for a coin to rugpull or exit scam. You have the best altcoin here. But such coins usually do not have fast growth. But I'm sure your portfolio has good growth. Those are two different things. I can tell you that you have made a good decision and you just need to wait for the value increase in this bull run season. I believe your coin will grow significantly by the end of 2024.
