since btcchina seemes to have detached i am observing gox, backchecking with btc-e and if bitstamp follows i place my orders on bitfinex. i dont really trust in btc-e to trade; i have some dismal experiences with metatrader+btc-e ..

daytraders, whats your actual timeframe you speculate on? 2h?
5 minutes for quick in and out movements 15 minutes to denote the local end of a sharp crash for the day 1 hour to predict a nice breakout. 4 hour to go all in 1 day for da cold storage hodling I rarely buy and sell the same day (except when arbing, but that kinda died out with BTC China). Actually made only 3 major moves on our way down from the top: - sell at 925-870 - buy at 670-420 - sell at 610-720 Next I will buy back cheaply. nice ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) i did buy some @ 550, 480, 460, 440 and will hold until 2015 or longer

When I'm doing hardcore rapid daytrading during a crash I don't use emas for my entries. I use the order books and volume. me too, i am always trying to buy very close @ the actual highest bid, but with low volume thats a pain

(i.e. now m1 it should go down but is rather pointing upwards; over all its sideways, so going long or short is merely guessing i think. as i am not guessing at the moment i am waiting for a longer up/down movement)

hy, how are sell orders routed to bitstamp? i cant see them on the charts of bitstamp, so they are hidden? sometimes on low volumes my sell orders on bitstamp are not executed, although there are sells at higher prices than my limit and my order sits there for already 10 min or longer, so is there anything to know about how bitfinex limits are queued in the bitstamp book?

Guys are you checking transactions in Blocks ? there is allot of coin mixing going on, each time the price falls down I check the blocks and I see so many mixing going on!!!! I am still curious of what is going on !!!!
what is "mixing" transfering coins from one account to another over and over again? maye its people trying to "wash" some stolen coins before they put them into an exchange; awaiting kyc regulations, now that btcchina has fucked with the clients. might as well be arbitrage, maybe some customers managed to open accounts at the same bank as a exchange and such money transfer is as fast as btc transfer for them. https://blockchain.info/tr/address/1Jd5puPgHGMH3VvULDMM2t2qtQKEi1feBjsorry, but i dont get it. i cant read that blockchain stuff, always wondered why there are adresses displayed that have nothing to do with the transaction, plus the commas and dots in the number make me go nuts

that wallstreet article is bullshit Let's say it is. (Second Market would know though I would think) But people will read it and still invest anyways so it can't help but be bullish news. no, cause it says "a ceo from a fund of bitcoins" bla bla, anything anybody from a fund says is bullshit (except maybe mr. warren buffet)..

youre doing margin trading, go to terminal-trading there your actual open positions are shown, under "volume" it shows the coins you are long/short.

Not relevant. The ban had nothing to do with the price drop. BTCChina's new ID verification requirements, on the other hand, have everything to do with the drop. The price manipulators and launderers need to find a new exchange. i think so too, but on the other hand, they want a passport code entered and i dont think they have the means to check if its ok, so one could enter any passport id, ie an idea that follows the scheme of passport - idīs from a certain country. i wonder if chinese authorities check those idīs entered at btcchina upon arrival at a chinese border..

do you really have to verify to get your coins off gox now?
@ btcchina you have to give a valid phone number (sms verification code) and enter a passport number, just took by coins out of that shit
|
|
|
yes, but i want a colour-bar around my by/sell lines - showing the "non profit" boundary, or have it automatically calculated in the order window as min-buy/min-sell price
|
|
|
acutally iīm just testing metatrader4 with btc-e.
is there a feature to automatically calculate which price is needed for a trade to be profitable (i.e. order price + fees = minimum sell price)? maybe including a chart line?
