BITCOIN doesn't care about states .its wordwide currency used everywhere. To regulate it and tax it u need wordwide government right ?
You cant hide, any government will tax you once you convert to fiat or buy directly goods/services with Bitcoin.

Probably within 2016, depending on certain events. It possibly come quicker similar to when btc jumped from $200 - $1,000 over news of chinas exchange. But it has to be something big.
You need at least 10 times rise by about $1,000, probably followed with stagnation or decreasing price. Im not sure it is possible so soon. 2020+ when block reward is 6.25 BTC is more likely (if ever, obviously)

Personally I do not accept uncorfimed transactions as a business owner.
You live in the past then. To be competetive, merchants have to accept credit cards which is form of unconfirmed transaction for many months. Even bank transfers can be reversed, your only safe with cash (if not counterfeit ).

In 2004, I had $10,000 saved up and I had 2 choices. Invest all in to google at $90 per share or buy a brand new motorcycle.
I ended up buying the Motorcycle for $9,600 or so after taxes and other fees. Had I bought Google, I'd have a nice 100k+. Motorcycle now is worth less than $3,500.
Yes, but you enjoyed your Motorcycle last few years. And the Google could fail...

1) simply access the website bitaddress.org, then disconect from the internet. then generate your private key. now store your private key offline somewhere. now close your browser. now reconnect to the internet.
Not much safe, download bitaddress.org to usb stick, remove HDD, remove lan cable and boot from live Cd, then generate your private key in offline

People with some credibility have speculated it might be worth that one day, but it's really anyone's guess where prices will end up. Cryptocurrency as a whole is probably here to stay. That doesn't mean everyone is going to be a millionaire though.
To be millionaire you would need 100 coins with 0.0001 BTC / dollar, so definitive not for everyone

I joined to get latest information about Bitcoins here and it works. The only thing I dont understand is why some feel the need to discuss Altcoins in other sections than Alternate Cryptocurrencies, or their home forums... This is BitcoinTalk forum, see the url in your browser
Bitcointalk is where altcoins were born lol True, without Bitcointalk there would be no altcoins, but outside Bitcointalk these altcoins doesnt exist as well. The only problem is the altcoins spam some sections, making it harder to read Bitcoin related news

This, of course, is purely conjecture. There are a fair number of issues with BitCoin that are fundamental to the nature of the coin itself. First and foremost, one of the biggest boons of BTC is the irreversibility of transactions. This is also one of its biggest detractors. It is all too easy for a party to solicit BitCoins for a transaction and fail to deliver. If the customer fails to receive the product or service or is dissatisfied with what they've received, they are entirely at the mercy of the solicitor to make things right. Once larger organizations begin accepting BitCoin, public opinion may be sufficient to hold their feet to the fire, but this recourse will not have much impact with smaller organizations or individuals.
Actually Bitcoin irreversibility is a good feature. You have to pay only if you are sure you wont need reverse the payment. Cash on delivery is my prefered method of ordering goods anyway

I've decided to try out mining, and I'm quite new to it. By following some tutorials I've managed to get everything set up, but when I began mining it went awry. I got one share, which came back stale. Now I don't get shares anymore. My speed is 270-280 Mhash/s. Help is much appreciated.
Your mining Bitcoins? What stratum difficulty do you have?

If I want to buy some bitcoin I have to get verified first and link a bank account. It is @#%^ing ridiculous. If I ever buy bitcoin it will have to be in-person with someone who has them. Selling is the same deal.
Will we ever be able to buy and sell bitcoin easily?
I understand your frustration, in many countries it is difficult to purchase Bitcoin, it just depends on where you live. In Canada you can simply walk up to an ATM and buy some Bitcoin with cash. In Australia you can walk into a bank and deposit directly into the exchanges bank account and have your Bitcoin in minutes. As Bitcoin becomes more widespread you will find it easier to obtain. Seems interesting, at any ATM or just few Bitcoin ATMs ?

Well, 10,000,000 coins * 100K = 1 trillon $
they've got to be somewhere, or at least some of it
Maybe about 1% of 1 trillon $ to keep 100K price relative stable
