146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 42Coin BIGGEST SCAM?? on: January 13, 2014, 03:47:12 PM
I have not read the spec.

So with 42 coin there are, 42 coins minted total?
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [BOUNTY] [ZTC] ZenithCoin LOGO - 500 ZTC on: January 13, 2014, 03:44:37 PM
I just realized,  ZenithCoin (ZTC) has been out for over 6 months and it doesn't have an official coin logo yet!

So,  for this,  I am offering 500 ZTC to create a logo!

Let me rephrase the last statement,  I will give 500 ZTC for the logo that is accepted as the official ZenithCoin logo.

initially you didn't say that ''I will give 500 ZTC for the logo that is accepted as the official ZenithCoin logo''

so i am waiting for coins, sorry

I did not saying *any* logo.  Also, just like any design activity,  the logo has to be accepted by the client.   So if you are expecting to get paid,  then I am sorry to say,  you will have to wait a very long time.

The number of lazy people around here completely amazes me!
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN] [ZTC] ZenithCoin Pre-IPO Pricing on: January 13, 2014, 03:38:16 PM
ZenithCoin ( http://www.zenithcoin.com ) has been selected by Cryptsy to be traded.

The price of ZTC has not been determined, however it is useful to consult CoinMarketCap.com.

These are the coins with comparable number of coins minted.   Not included in this list are high inflationary coins that have hundreds of millions of coins or more.

28      Cryptogenic Bullion   $ 961,923   $ 1.03   933,591 CGB   $ 14,120   -13.58 %

52    BetaCoin              $ 178,702   $ 0.034   5,310,682 BET   $ 382           -15.96 %

65    Noirbits                $ 63,109   $ 0.03   2,099,560 NRB   $ 1,527   -3.98 %

This indicates, that ZTC when listed on Cryptsy may possibly fetch between $0.03 and $0.60.

To facilitate fair distribution of the coin,  we are offer 250,000 ZTC for sale at considerable discount prices.

The coins will be sold at a minimum of 5,000 ZTC and priced at $0.005.  Payments are only in BTC or IXC.

50 Lots of 5,000 ZTC will be sold at the current reduced price of 0.03125 BTC or 150 IXC per LOT.   To be clear,  0.03125 BTC acquires 5,000 ZTC and 150 IXC acquires 5,000 ZTC.

Notes:  (60 / 2.5) * 24 * 50 = 28,800 coins mined per day.  At these prices of $ .005 yields $144 per day.

Please PM me to make arrangements.

149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [ZTC] ZenithCoin May List on Crypsty (READ) on: January 13, 2014, 02:59:18 PM
I hope it gets listed...Waiting eagerly to trade

Btw solracx hw mch 1 ZTC is worth in BTC??

The market will determine the price.  However,  there are only less than 2.5 million coins, so try to compare it with coins like it.

Coinmarketcap.com is a good source:

Here are some coins that are comparable (based on number of coins created):

28      Cryptogenic Bullion   $ 961,923   $ 1.03   933,591 CGB   $ 14,120   -13.58 %
31    Mincoin                   $ 873,685   $ 0.57   1,521,751 MNC   $ 5,615   -4.03 %
32    MemoryCoin        $ 671,369   $ 0.26   2,580,115 MMC   $ 5,286   -10.05 %
36    Datacoin                 $ 598,965   $ 0.33   1,805,919 DTC   $ 1,119   ?
44    Deutsche eMark       $ 344,662   $ 0.10   3,356,750 DEM   $ 4,676   -23.42 %
45    Philosopher Stones   $ 313,640   $ 0.19   1,624,849 PHS   $ 3,651   +27.73 %
47    Catcoin               $ 247,095   $ 0.23   1,051,650 CAT   $ 6,375   -11.64 %
51    Bytecoin              $ 209,783   $ 0.11   1,838,078 BTE   $ 984           -20.30 %
52    BetaCoin              $ 178,702   $ 0.034   5,310,682 BET   $ 382           -15.96 %
58    HoboNickels      $ 128,811   $ 0.051   2,513,147 HBN   $ 968            +2.93 %
61    Orbitcoin              $ 100,507   $ 0.093   1,082,748 ORB   $ 170            -6.01 %
65    Noirbits                $ 63,109   $ 0.03   2,099,560 NRB   $ 1,527   -3.98 %

So in the low range, it could be work 3 cents and at the high, possibly 50 cents.

Just a reminder,  this is not a new coin,  it was created back in June 2013.

Lookin at the chart, i guess it should be around 3 cents. but since it is a old coin, probably it could touch 20 or more cents...

Yes, looking at comparables,  a 20 cent price would be in the middle of the range for this type of coin.   Anything below 3 cents would be a bargain.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: January 13, 2014, 02:53:51 PM
ZenithCoin (ZTC) has been selected to be traded on Cryptsy.    Official date has not yet be given, however we hope to see it in the next few days.

ZTC was originally developed by FrictionlessCoin.  Furthermore,  ZTC was developed to serve as a Developer Funding mechanism for alternative currencies.   Therefore, as part of its mission and in appreciation of the contribution of FrictionlessCoin,   we will be making an initial donation of 50,000 ZTC to support the development activities of iXcoin.  Specifically, this donation is to support the development of 'native colored coin' support by iXcoin.

Best of luck with your endeavors.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZenithCoin (ZTC) Market Making Sustainable Crypto Currency on: January 13, 2014, 01:13:37 PM
I gotta say I have been mining a lot of altcoins lately and zenithcoin seems to be the only one that doesnt have wallet or blockchain issues.

Of course, it is not a simple clone of Litecoin.

In fact, the code is derived from the Freicoin project.  Freicoin has several top notch developers.

Different from Freicoin in that this is a Scrypt based coin and does not have the demurrage.

Also, unlike most coins that tend to get stuck when difficulty gets to high,  this coin does not have that issue.

Thanks for the positive comment though,  leave your ZTC address and I will send you 10 ZTC in appreciation.

Scammer accusation thread ---- >>  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412424.0

The miner was from Cointerra that was expected to arrive in January.  Unfortunately, it is out of my control in that they are extremely delayed,  and at this time unprofitable to acquire.   This is a business decision to stop the purchase.  If you don't like it,  then sell your coins.

Wasted?  You have every opportunity to sell off your coins in an exchange or to sell it to any body making an offer.

Bribing people?  People are earning their ZTC by making an effort to promote it.

How did you earn your ZTC?  You mined it.  How do other people earn their ZTC? They promote it.

So if things don't go your way, you scream "scammer"?

I am making the best effort to promote this coin.  What are you doing as a miner?  Do you feel entitled to some kind of just compensation?   Well the only compensation you will ever get is through an exchange,  and if you are working against its listing, then you sir are an absolute idiot.

What you are saying is that rather than get compensated for 84,000 ZTC coins that you hold,  you would rather that it be zero.  That is stupid.
155  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: solracx and the 1000 ghash pipe dream on: January 13, 2014, 12:35:35 PM

I've wasted some/all of my 600-1700 khash over several weeks mining this scam.

After ignoring the ZTC miners/investors for many months, solracx is now desperately trying to regain support for Zenithcoin by essentially bribing people to vote for ZTC on various exchanges.

159  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: ANN: Announcing code availability of the bitsofproof supernode on: January 13, 2014, 11:27:28 AM
Note that version 2.0.0 of the BOP Community Bitcoin Server is released. Notable features (since 1.3):

  * BIP39
  * Shamir's Secret Sharing
  * Encrypted HD Root - preview
  * RFC 6979 - Deterministic ECDSA signatures
  * shaded jar nor runnable with external configuration files
  * server-in-a-box
  * upgrade to Active MQ 5.9.0, Spring 4.0.0, LevelDB 1.8, Bouncy Castle 1.50

Was this ever released to the community?
160  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: ANN: Announcing code availability of the bitsofproof supernode on: January 13, 2014, 11:26:46 AM
Discontinued support for BOP Community Bitcoin Server as it diverged from BOP Enterprise Bitcoin Server to an extent that maintenance was not economical.

Given the muted interest (to remain polite) of the community to contribute, it seems this is not a loss.

Contact sales@bitsofproof.com if you are interested to get the BOP Enterprise Server.

What does this mean?  That there are no more new releases?

What about the current release?
