141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: June 02, 2024, 05:59:00 AM
We become lucky and ready to have one of the flowing sites that generated huge earnings for us because we've been through a whole lot lately. We should always take to heart that there's only two solid outcomes that will be experienced each time we gamble, it's either you're on the winning team or losing end, that makes sense to everyone in the system. We gamble because we're after the money that comes our way and that's usually one of the terrible aspects of gambling.
That small win is enough to fuel the over-confidence that a gambler has and forces them to play more waiting for the right win. This is bad because the games will likely drain you before you win anything big and the cumulative losses will overcome the profit.

Luck is a slippery thing, so dont chase behind it. In gambling luck will always be on the casino's side, this is what you have to accept and apply. This is not a test where you study and practice to hone your answering skill, it is just luck be it EV- or EV+ which makes sense to not gamble for long durations.

Playing once a while because you are feeling lucky and want to push your luck or visiting Vegas once in a year, that is fine if kept in a limit, but dont get stuck there.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they on: June 02, 2024, 05:50:59 AM
The thought of gambling to make money itself is the biggest mistake. They should change the thought to playing gambling games for fun once every 2months or so.

Though the fact that casinos exist is because people have this hidden greed for money and are willing to try their luck on things that have a chance of winning or losing. Still the objective should be clear and once it become clear, that person will no longer wish to gamble with their hard earned money.

There is nothing wrong with being a part of the gambling industry, in fact most of the owners are multi-millionaires, one can become part of it as a investor or affiliate marketer.
143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology and TA on: June 02, 2024, 05:43:43 AM
However, there is another truth, that I would like to say, Bitcoin is a very solid investment asset, with very good ROI in history, so in either bear market or bull market, if you are an investor with long term plan, the bear market is still very good period for you to accumulate Bitcoin.
This is true for bitcoin, but buying at the mid or highs is something that I would still not recommend. It might go up for that price but in case it does not, it will initially cause mental dissatisfaction to the trader and not all traders will be able to hold through that phase.

Rather the least stressful thing is to buy at the low and wait for that to go up. While TA is more of a day-trading thing, use it only to determine a phase, dont depend on it completely.

Buying low and selling high is a general concept applicable to every speculative asset, not just bitcoin.
144  Other / Meta / Re: Application for Merit Source - TheUltraElite on: June 01, 2024, 12:08:17 PM
Thanks you to all those who have been providing their views on this matter.
I support your application because I have seen you in several boards and your contribution is visible and appreciated.
Appreciate that, I will try to shower merits on every other section I visit too. One of my bigger aspirations is to provide a balance in the merits being distributed to prevent the skewness, it will be tough, but I will try it.

I want to ask in this thread and for anyone, don't be too serious. Have you ever felt that it is very difficult to get merit and think something is wrong that is happening?
Thread is not about merit deficiency in the sections, but like I said above, I am a one man army and hence I am impartial to meriting users on this forum.

I've always seen you in a positive light, and you've been a member way longer than the typical merit source applicant so you'll definitely be a good judge of which posts are good and which are typical mediocre shitposting fare.  You got my support, brother.
Thank you Pharma Grin Hope to fullfill this role and get it done in the best possible way.
145  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If you can't afford to pay for electricity don't do mining on: June 01, 2024, 11:59:21 AM
I can write to you about Russia very easily. Energy workers have already learned to quickly find illegal miners. Equipment using free electricity will pay for itself in 6-8 months, but energy workers will find a mining farm earlier, in 3-4 months. This is minus 50% of the deposit. If the police catch the miner, then it's bankruptcy.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Indeed it is outright dangerous to mine in countries like that, the risk is not worth taking.

But since everyone wants to jump into the bitcoin bandwagon the better and safer method is to buy bitcoin at the lower end of the cycle and hold that for the long term.

It is not that buying and running ASICs is a chore on its own, but it has become this dangerous because of less availability of cheap electricity.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A list of lucky casinos in crypto on: May 31, 2024, 04:18:58 PM
I would refrain from making such a list, because lucky is not something you become at a casino, even though most people like to think like that, rather they are more likely to get unlucky and lose money.

The casinos might want that, for marketing though because advertising themselves as "lucky" for the players means more people who are blinded by their greed will jump into that casino rather than any other like pigs to a slaughterhouse.

Hence I would treat such a list with a lot of skepticism.
147  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If you can't afford to pay for electricity don't do mining on: May 31, 2024, 04:14:15 PM
Yeah but illegal mining operations are not new and every few weeks we see a new thread here demonstrating the mishaps that have happened in different mining centers, illegal of course. I remember a thread on Russian miners which caught fire but luckily no one got hurt. In the similar manner, if someone gets caught, then legal action would be taken.

It is better to be safer than sorry in this case. You should not steal from the grid, you will be punished. Your friend if still not caught should stop doing this and sell their ASICs.
148  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is bitcoin mining just completely not profitable for retail? on: May 31, 2024, 04:09:51 PM
No, mining is different from buying BTC and profitability depends on their electricity rate if you don't have a cheap power rate and don't have technical skills then stop planning on mining because it won't be worth mining in the long term.
Exactly, most people are not having it first hand unless they learn about it. It makes much more sense to buy bitcoin which only takes a few clicks and a lot of fiat money from the buyer's side while mining is a chore on its own. Not to mention that with warmer countries, heating is an issue and electricity is not cheap.

If you just buy BTC and hold at the current price it doesn't generate a profit what if the price keeps declinin it stays at the current price for almost a year or 2?
Buying BTC does not necessarily mean just sitting on it. Some people will actively trade. Some will sell at the long term. All this depends on the buying price. But the amount of attention that it needs is much less than having to run a farm of miners.

Good to see your reply..

Btw, is there any new faucets you launched? i see 4 more sites with your same website script & template for earning BNB, TRX & ETH.

Can you please confirm this?
I am not an official spokesperson, but as far as my knowledge goes, previously they operated freedoge, but they shut it down to focus only on freebitco.in and at present this is the one and only site they manage.

Any other faucet that might be using a similar looking template or script, is not affiliated with them and your should exercise due caution when dealing with them.

I added a balance to my account, it was approved but it was not transferred to the system, for example, it has received 2 confirmations now
Give it some time, try refreshing the browser as well. Check the transactions list under the "Stats>Personal" page.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it proper for one to trade Bitcoin through a trusted friend ? on: May 30, 2024, 02:58:17 PM
Haven't nurturing this idea of trading a Bitcoin in the near future, but one question that's always come as a concern to me is. Is proper for me to trust a friend of that high magnitude ?
No No, you dont trust someone to trade your bitcoin with, at least I would not recommend doing it, even if that person is a very close friend or family. Unless they are your parents or your next of kin, even then it is tough to trust someone in this sphere.

You should learn trading on your own and there are immense number of articles and videos to demonstrate the same. This forum is also very helpful if you need to clarify specifics.

Anyone who has access to your wallet private key can spend your coins, please be wary of that. Secure your wallets and never store the coins on exchange wallets.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Religion. Beliefs or Choices? on: May 30, 2024, 02:53:08 PM
Religions want people to follow a clean path to life. This comes from the religious leaders observations of the ones who perform vices having a bad impact on the lives of their families and themselves.

However in this 21st century, these beliefs should be filtered and the gist should be understood by the public - which stands in this that gambling should be moderated or stopped, otherwise it becomes and addiction and leads to ruin.

Of course this is for their own good, but the choice is their own.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: May 30, 2024, 02:47:58 PM
It will always be the casino. The house always wins, and that won't change even in the near future. Even if someone wins, the house still makes a profit from other players. So, basically, that covers their losses on someone. Even if the house loses today or even for a week, but wins for the rest of the month, they still make a profit. It's a very profitable busines.
You can also explain this is another way, the number of jackpots a gambler wins, if compared to the total losses that same player has, you will realize that the cumulative loss is bigger than the jackpot, making the casino the net winner. We think that winning the jackpot means the casino was "beaten" or "defeated" but this is totally not the case and the casinos love making this a news of the day printing it on every newspaper only to raise the false image in the minds of potential gamblers that casinos can be beaten.

It is a nice method of marketing that they have and I love it, because investing in casinos is hence very profitable. Cheesy
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: May 30, 2024, 02:44:14 PM
With regards to your first paragraph question, I personally believe that luck works in gambling and how it works is what I really can’t explain but I know it works and I don’t think a casino has to favour you because they have no hand in one’s winning or losing and that’s why it is always claimed to be provably fair which simply means that, it is fair and not ought to be bais, hence the lucks comes from the individual gambling.
Luck is applicable in every aspect of life, be it gambling or not gambling, hence there is no need to define it or clarify it. It is always there like an omnipresent thing, making changes to your effort for the good or bad. Hence we should not depend on luck but on things that we can control like working hard for a living and living a quiet monk like life.

The more you take a risk the more chances the luck factor comes in to haggle it and the risk increases. These are things we cannot control and thus gambling is never a stable income. Even in an EV+ game, some luck factor is always there.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you start investing in bitcoin because of some celebrity ? on: May 30, 2024, 02:41:36 PM
Shitcoins promoted by celebs did run in troubles and then the people who had invested understood their mistake. This is learning the hard way and also leads to bad impression on crypto even though it was shitcoins and not bitcoin.

To be honest, there are many people get influenced by celebs because they are seen as some sort of gods in their eyes. Very few actually understand that they are doing this only for the money and nothing more.

I started because of my own gains and to be able to pay people in crypto. Eventually I started collecting bitcoin seeing its potential for the future, someone else might not be interested in these things.

Yah... we are already going down. Have we already hit BTC ATH for this cycle?
We did hit the new all time high on March 14, 2024 which was a funny looking number of 73737$  Grin

All good bro. What about you guys?
We are trying to get the Indian subsection revived again for the last few months. We need both activity and merits. Activity we can all contribute and bring forth and merits we are currently lacking but work is being done for that too.
156  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can anti gamblers accept cash from gamblers when they're in dire financial needs on: May 29, 2024, 01:42:03 PM
If a gambler is giving money as loans, they are a loan shark, there is no shame in that. The source of money is less important but such sharks will not be able to sustain for long because of their gambling habits. So a long term shark usually does not spend their money recklessly but prey on individuals who might need money.

Of course there is no need to judge how they acquired the money in case of emergency, religion can do what it wishes to, someone's life being saved is way more important and is the next possible thing to redeeming yourself beyond what the narrow vision of religion can see.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the main points of gambling? on: May 29, 2024, 01:39:08 PM
You made a very good point, alot of individuals who gamble always think of the bright side, the forget it's very risky and depends on luck, there are some who think it's an opportunity to make themselves wealthy and even go to the extent of staking all they go on an event yet to be unfold that's the height of it all and those with such mindset of making a fortune from gambling mostly end  up becoming addicts.
Staking on the house would not be a bad investment because the house will win in the long run but staking your money to wager it on games is a bad choice if done recklessly. Sometimes overconfidence builds up and players tend to make these mistakes. They rarely get the chance to think their decisions twice because the greed factor is clouding their thoughts.

The outcome is actually one-sided because the ones who lose will obviously chase the loss and become addicts. Even the ones who win will increase their confidence and gamble again till they lose and get entry into the first group.
158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: participating in the forum in order to be able to access campain in the future on: May 29, 2024, 01:24:26 PM
Nah, I gave up already.
Sucks but this is the prime reason why most people in this world lead a miserable life. They give up at the first instance of something that puts them off. They dont think the opportunity that lies inside if they stick around and learn a thing or two to eventually become a part of that group.

That is called diplomacy and most of the people fail to use that method to climb the corporate ladder. Learn it and you might actually be able to use it somewhere.

In either case, it is your choice, so see you around.
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New trader's must remember it. on: May 29, 2024, 01:20:42 PM
I could remember when I started trading as a newbie, I was able to make more profit then compare to now as a professional trader, I was able to take maximum risk then which yielded a great profit, this even drew me to learn more about trading.
A colleague called it luck then but I don't believe in that, you can make a maximum profit when you are new to this trading of a thing. My thought though
Taking your words at face value, assuming you did not have any prior experience with trading on another speculative market, this is tough to believe to be true.

If you are telling the truth then all the best to you but most newbies will end up buying at the high and selling at the low eventually making a huge loss. But those who do dummy trading learn this folly and eventually buy at the low instead.

If your method is correct, the luck factor is low in case of bitcoin trading. For altcoin trading unpredictable swings are common and thus more risky.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 28, 2024, 02:57:04 PM
I am surprised to see that airdrops rewards are directly getting to a more liquid currency to be able to spend on casinos. Normally casinos allow only the top coins out there but not the recently launched airdropped coins. The later would need time to get listed on exchanges and then converted to high order coins - like BTC/ETH/DOGE/LTC or any of that before being spent.

I would like to know more about what I said above if the OP can gather the information.

Still they are wrong and it is out fundamental duty to teach them that the folly in airdrops is that the owners are stealing private data from the participants, this should not be encouraged from the participants side.
