The French winning the final match was almost like an anti-climax. I was expecting another upset after the countless upsets we had during the first round, second round, QF and even during the semi-finals.
I wasn't okay with the upsets, but yeah, in a tournament full of upsets, it would have been nice to see a team which hasn't won before win via upset. This was on as Belgium and Croatia done more then expected but at the end France was much better and stronger enough to win this years title they was really well organized and play like champions specially in final because they have much better team then opponents |

Considering the tournament has progresses people where expecting another upset in the final but just do not know it did not happen. I am sure many gamblers would have bet for Croatia as the rate was high for this team and also the chances of another upset may have being possible. Well.. I heard rumors that many of the gambling sites took heavy losses, after people won money betting on teams such as Croatia, Iceland and even Russia. It will take a long time for them to recover this much money. South Africa seem to be heading for a big defeat against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is not a very strong team, but South Africa seems to be struggling against spin. The subcontinental teams seem to be again relying on spin to flummox their opponents. It seems to be a successful strategy so far.

I agree something needs to be done because it is getting worse each time they play, its like they have no will to even compete and try and win cricket matches which is a shame as Zimbabwe have been around for a long time now. Lets hope the ICC step in and do something about the situation. They want to develop, but they think that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will make their economies go down. But I hope in the future, these countries will have positive thoughts about Bitcoin All right, progress can not be stopped and it scares many..I also very much hope that in the near future the governments banning bitcoin will understand the importance of cryptocurrency and open their country for development. Right now we have some very poor cricket from test nations which is not good as its already struggling with popularity of twenty/20 format in last few days we have three test matches and all end in just less than 3 days with team like South Africa is also fail to entertain 20 wickets less then 200 runs matter of really work for cricket authorities in South Africa.
Most of the young players are attracted for short format games so these days it is quite hard to find a quality test playing players. Maybe they think it is quite boring and need to work hard to play five continuous days. Also, only quality players with good batting techniques can play longer in test matches otherwise they can't survive for long. Even people are not interested in watching these test matches so these test matches are losing popularity. People are their who are interested in watching Test match but their are no cricketers who are willing to play long innings in Test match , They wanted results that is why Test matches are now boring. Before players use to play long innings and dont want to get out but today everyone want the results and players are not willing to play long innings and waste their energy. Now the interesting series will be beginning soon between India vs England and you would like the series. It is going to be very tough as both are good teams and it will be a good track to bat and bowl as well in England. So keep the eyes on this series. Yes it's good to see 2 strong teams play test cricket. But India lost 2 back to back matches because of poor batting actually Indian strong weapon is batting if they continue the same form then England will win this test series. I think Poojara and rahane will come to the Indian team. England is never been good batting place for sub continent batsmen but right now India has some good batting line up for test matches as Vijay and Pujara both are doing good and Rahul is also new entry with kohli and Sharma makes this one of best line up lets see what happen on first of August Now today we are going to second test match Sri Lanka vs South Africa look like after first embarrassing defeat visitors will do some work and have good result |
