Hi, it's not necessary to be the same brand or even the same power. The important thing is to connect them properly and do NOT power a single card via both PSUs at the same time. Anyway you can power the riser from one PSU and the 6/8 pin from other, but never connect the 6/8 pin connectors on one card from different PSUs.

Hahaha this is the CHARLATAN that is on all the ICO threads. He have a second account but I will not say the nickname... ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I've been involved in mining bitcoins and altcoins since 2013 but no, I've never made an account here before. I just wanted to warn my fellows and friends. To create value out of nothing is not a road to success or becoming rich. And, I've already mentioned but I'm gonna do it again since some of you people obviously can't read, USD/EUR is just as much of a scam as these cryptocoins is. I call it "digital candy". Why you've been involved in mining since bitcoin have no real value? Don't get it. You want to make money from crypto currencies but you don't like them and don't support them. Then you use your newbie account to post in the crypto forum that they are worth nothing. WTF? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) BTW, which economic university have you graduated?

Ethereum is not going to see any unusual corrections or drops any time soon. The price is going up and this trend will continue. There are so many new projects based on ethereum blockchain, so many news and hype around it, so many speculators and newbies pouring money in it these days, there is the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance and all the banks and businesses in it, there are Vitalik and his billionaire father and etc. Doesn't matter if you like this technology or not, doesn't matter if you use it or not, the price will go in only one direction in the short-middle future (IMO). Till then stick with the master plan. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Mining rig with 12x560s would mine with the same speed as 6x570s, but you will use more space and double of motherboard/CPU/RAM/HDD/rigs/etc. Maybe going with Nvidia is a decent option these days when no AMDs can be found.

Dump sounds great for us who haven't bought yet. The price is too high now anyway.

If they are your friends I don't think you should "charge" them something. If we talk for some close friends, just teach them how to build and maintain rigs and after some time they will split the responsibilities with you. Cheers

This thread is literally skyrocketing to my top 3 ridiculous threads on bitcointalk.

There are some people on the forum who bios modded 460s, but nobody reported speeds over 15mh/s. Also on the pictures you posted, you can see in GPU-Z that the 460 is even on default clocks. Not real photos in my opinion.

You don't have to worry about bandwidth being an issue with few rigs connected, but data traffic could be an issue. I would suggest you to install more than one 4G router and connect less rigs as possible per router.

With the latest prices and all the hype, there are so many guides and videos made. Just look on youtube or google. Cheers

Hi guys ! I'm successfully running 8 x RX580 on Asus Prime Z270-A + 1 M2 to PCIE riser (232Mh/s, 980W total at the wall) thanks to the driver trick. Just tried to go up to 9 GPUs using a second M2 riser but it's so far a no-go. The 9 cards do show up in device manager but Windows crashes when installing driver on the 9th card. It then blue screens after reboot : "SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED". Did any of you succesfully went beyond 8 GPUs ? Any idea what causes the crash / how to go through with the 9th driver install ? Any feedback appreciated ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) AMD drivers are limited to 8 gpus only, that's why the 9th card is crashing.

One week old account, going to invest £10k in new coin that is fork of other coin and wait for opinion on the forum... Maybe you should read more before investing 10k. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

As far as I see this motherboard can't support 6 gpus. You have slots only for 5 cards.
|
|
|
All my R9 series cards are mining ZEC, a bit lower power consumption and cooler cards.
|
|
|
I suggest you to read some more in the forum. Ltc is not mined with gpus any more and it's not mhz but mh/s.

Is this normal? Effective Hash Rate / Reported is right at 95% ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F113AIOb.png&t=663&c=-6gDiWg6Thl13A) My effective hashrate can get erratic like that too sometimes.. Same with me, around 5-6% lower 24h average than reported. Any ideas?
