Has anyone else ran into the Illegal GPU Memory Access errors? I ran through all the algo's last night to setup my batch file to my mining rig, after going through all of them 1 by 1 letting them mine for 5+ minutes each for averages i found many of the algo's were giving me this error.. which kinda sucks because one of the ones i truly like to mine when profitable is Lyra2REv2 and it wouldnt work for me at all, but if i start up nicehash it runs just fine in that miner.. im curious if there is a way to add the specific miner from their program to this batch file list at the top to mine it for me when the most profitable, but on zpool
yes it will be default intensity is to high for your cards.. add -i to you command try -i 15 and work you way up to -i 31 until you find your limit then back it off 1.. alexis78 is made for pascal 1070 so has default high intensities to increase hash-rate... also make sure you've increase your virtual mem First try increasing virtual memory to 30-35gb, that solved it for me.

Is 270Sol/s a typical hashrate for a 970? I consider buying a few cheap Maxwell cards for zcash.
Yes. I did 300 Sols with PL 80%, core 1550/mem 3750 on Gigabyte G1. That card was a overclocking monster. But it did burn 150W doing that. So if electricity is not an issue, used 970s are best bang for the buck even today. Just make sure to use Nvidia Inspector for overclocking because Afterburner cant OC memory on Maxvell cards.

Where can i find a list of supported cryptocurrencies to mine?
For a comprehensive list of the algorithms supported as well as details about the various configuration parameters, please check the ReadMe file.

also I use less power with zec and it will be getting hot.
But equihash is more core/memory intensive than ccminer algos. I have to overclock memory to the max for ZEC mining. With ccminer I can downclock memory with no impact on hashrate. So how come you are using less power with ZEC than with ccminer/zpool?

Your Windows ver? Make sure you are using 1607+ if using Windows 10.
If other cards on same system can reach more, then it is probably really some hw issue with this one...
djeZo, why is v1607+ needed? Please elaborate. I am using Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393. I noticed funny thing that I cannot explain. When I manually install Nvidia driver, I get all sorts of problems when mining. When I install driver via Windows Update, everything just works. Problem is I have no idea why manually installed driver becomes problematic. I seek understanding of my operating systems, and this leaves ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ? above my head. Thanks.

Greetings again, does anybody have a idea or functional implementation on how to firmly secure the part of the riser that plugs into the motherboard pcie slot? Mine are awfully flimsy when plugged in. Thanks.

Offtopic, but relevant to zpool payouts. I used miningpoolhub in the past, and switched to zpool recently. So I am getting these 0.01BTC transactions to my blockchain.info wallet daily. The other day I bought something worth 400€ and lo and behold blockhain says I have to pay 10€ in transactions fees (!!!!) due to "many small unconsolidated transactions that need to be consolidated for this payment". I guess its due to those small zpool payments that are trickling in daily. Anybody here had similar experience? How to prevent such high payment fees? Use poloniex BTC adress for zpool payments and then pay from there? Thanks.
Had that issue also. So what I did was set up another wallet to do transactions from. So I mine to one wallet and transfer from it to the other once I hit .2 btc and that seems to work to eliminate the small transactions. Takes a while for the transfer, but since I am doing to myself and not for a transaction time is not so critical. Thanks. So mine to dreaded Poloniex and when satoshis pile-up transfer with minimal fee to blockchain.info?

Hi. I'd like to use your miner on ZPOOL. What's the most efficient way to benchmark my GPUs for all supported algos? Should I just look them up in zpool's benchmark section? Or is there a better way? Maybe run them one by one (but how to do this?) to test my actual speeds?
no need for benchmarks with nemo, benchmark stats are already in the .bat file and work for all nvidia cards

Windows 10 is just fine, if one learns its quirks. I am using Windos 10 LTSB, Winaero Tweaker to simply disable automatic install of drivers and updates/restarts. Linux is better choice but lack a tool like afterburner, so much CLI-ing and scripting is necessary. Also no multipool switching program for Linux ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

more power at zpool doing skein 12 kwatts a day so at 20 cents 2.50 x 30 = 75 buck more power.
so lower the 1.50 btc for zpool by 0.030 btc extra power or 1.47 btc vs .99 btc with the power adjustment.
that is 2,740 x 1.47 = 4027 usd vs 2,712 usd.
Now I have no other facts but for now I am mining with zpool over nicehash.
How come you are using more power on skein vs zcash on nicehash? Is not skein less power-hungry? Also, for ultimate profit, why not use miningpoolhub since its fees are lower?

I searched as best as I could but couldn't find an answer and maybe that's because there currently isn't one. I have 2 1080ti's mining zcash through ewbf's (great job by the way dev!) but because this is my main rig I can't stand the slowdown for standard windows activities and browsing. Is there a way to set the intensity on one of my cards lower so that I can use my computer as normal for light tasks?
Thanks.
(I did manage to switch focus input display in nvidia control panel and that seems to have helped a lot. I would still be curious to know if anyone has more information about this though)
Use Excavator on gpu connected to monitor. It has the option to use only one thread.

Check out tomshardware review of 1060. It pulls max 10A under furmark, and no algorithm can match furmark ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) So if you limit tdp by 20% it will pull 8A. So plan accordingly. If you buy a good PSU it will handle eventual voltage overloads by simply shutting down. If you want to play it safe and save money, go for 2 PSU solution with 7 gpus. Most good PSUs above 650W are carry "high-end gaming/mining" premium on price.

Hello guys Im about to build A rig With all Nvidia 1060 3G
MoBos: Asus PRIME Z270-A (current cost 153)
PSU: Seasonic M12II-850 Bronze EVO Edition 850W ATX 2.3 (103)
CPU: Intel Core i3 6100 2x 3.70GHz So.1151 BOX (103)
Riser x7: Qumox USB 3.0 PCI-E 1X To 16X Extender Riser Card Adapter Power Cable(55)
SSD: 120GB Kingston SSDNow M.2 2280 SATA 6Gb/s MLC (60)
Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX schwarz DDR4-2400 DIMM CL14 Single X2 (120)
Nvidia 1060 3G x7
Total price in Euros 2064
Any inputs?
Which Nvidia 1060 3G should I buy? MSI AERO? EVGA GiGABYTE
And something else Does it matter if its Mini? because thats the only ones available?
That Seasonic is too weak, go for Corsair TX 850 gray model. It will power 6 1060s with 100W TDP limit. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/ Cheapest Pentium, 4GB RAM. No need for SSD, used 250GB HDD will do just fine. Minis are ok, but go for two fan MSI/Gigabyte models if possible.

I have found
70% tdp +200 core -200 memory 75% fan
is good but not every cards likes the +200 core I have also found intensity of 24 in bat file is more stable
How does that 70% TDP translate to actual Watts? Please consult nvidia-smi or Nvidia Inspector. I am also interested in optimizing ccminer suite for best Sol/W. Thanks. Answer pretty please.
