So.
I took all my DOGE out of Cryptsy. Sitting in my local wallet.
Where do I deposit it now?
BTER?
Vircurex?
Cryptsy again?
Cryptsy have always been quick to resolve issues I've had, but seem to have coins go missing(and return) on a regular basis. Withdrawal took 8 hours earlier, where I saw the price rise 150 then back down to 100, so missed prime time to sell.
Anyone got any input?
BTER has higher prices than Vircurex, and higher volume. Other than that, they're about the same. Quick deposits and withdraws. 5-20 minutes each way depending on network traffic. |

I used the same passphrase for several transactions. I made a backup of the wallet then restored it on the new operating system and the passphrase now is incorrect. Have anybody any idea what this crap is about? It'd be much appreciated, I've already lost some bitcoins because of corrupted wallet (they are DOGE this time obviously).
I don't know what you mean paraphrase? Are you referring to the encrypted wallet password? An easier way to do this is to dumpprivkey in the console. On the new machine, sync wallet then importprivkey in the console and you have your wallet. |

Sent 80k from cryptsy to BTER earlier this morning, its been about 5 hours +. Is this normal or are my coins gone?
Check your transaction history in your wallet. Right click on the transaction-->Show Transaction Details-->copy the TXID and check it at dogechain.info. Are you sure you sent it to the correct address? Also at BTER click on the sync link. |

how long does it take for you guys to see doge coin deposit on bter?
10-15 minutes. As soon as you see in your wallet 6 confirms, hit the sync link. i deposited from coinedup to bter for more than 20 minutes now and still dont see it show up .... getting worry Not good to deposit from exchange to exchange, but that's just me. Since that would be like depositing from a mining pool it may take longer. Notice: It might take longer than normal to deposit to Bter from mining pool or deposit solo mining generated coins if the sender pay no transaction fee to the network. |

its just i sold some at 153 and ive been waiting, since then it dropped but my sale is still pending.
Are you telling me it wont actually sell until it reaches that value again?
Bingo I just put an order in to sell at 167. I may have to wait days for it to hit or maybe never. I'll probably change that to 200 in a few hours. I had an order in at Vircurex at 142 and waited 3 days before it executed, but it did because I knew the drop was only a market correction. |

A market order sells almost instantaneous. You are selling for the asking price. The other way, you wait for your price or what you think it will sell at. A market order does gaurantee cash, but maybe not at the best price long term. Trading is a speculation of where you think the price will go. |

I just sold at bters automatic set price...
That's called a market order. You can get more by holding for a higher price. Could take a few minutes or a few hours or a few days. It depends where you see the price going. |
