141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump the alts on: May 13, 2019, 11:14:45 PM
I will strongly advise against dumping alts especially if these alts are in top 50 position on coinmarketcap. This recent bullrun by bitcoin is an indicator that that there's more to come. I rather load some alts and wait for alts run
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US senators wants to know why Facebook wants crypto on: May 13, 2019, 10:37:31 PM
The US Senate banking committee wrote a letter to facebook questioning about the nature and legality of it's cryptocurrency project code named Libra.
https://www.banking.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/5.9.19%20Facebook%20Letter.pdf

They essentially asked whether it would enable users to have privacy and would make it harder for the government to monitor every personal and financial moves of people in the US and around the world.

I believe the government is more concerned about control and monitoring of citizens monetary affairs. I hope Facebook coin will not limit their Influence and also lute them to the positives of the crypto industry and why it should be adopted by the government too
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market situation on: May 13, 2019, 10:29:54 PM
Very bright I must say. All the centralized bodies that gave a bad remark on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are now making a u-turn to adopt and accept it. I am certain that we will be seeing new record highs for bitcoin prices in no distant time
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should belive Crypto? on: May 13, 2019, 10:17:36 PM
Should we support crypto fully or can we believe about this? Seeing that the people who took the hypothesis of the crypto were very losers. Because this year there is a lot of price fall.
People was being busy with crypto, but nobody can not want to take losses. But they got.

Ebay now believes in crypto. Zuckerberg(facebook), Microsoft, JP Morgan, TD Ameritrade, whole foods and so on now believe In crypto. You have to better start believing in cryptocurrency if you had doubts. It cannot be evaded

Top 50 altcoins like Ethereum, stellar, ico and Ripple are still cheap and are yet to witness a pump due to the continued bitcoin dominance. Perhaps its time to load your bag while we all await the altcoin green candles
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook To Announce FB Coin In Third Quarter 2019? on: May 12, 2019, 10:05:35 PM
There has been several rumors surrounding Facebook introducing its FB Stablecoin, especially in recent times. Now the big one is that "Facebook To Announce FB Coin In Third Quarter 2019". see source - https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/113-facebook-to-announce-fb-coin-in-third-quarter-2019

If this happens, I believe it will be the biggest crypto project of the year. or what do you think?

I am really excited about the Facebook Coin and can't wait to witness the new dimension the project will take the crypto community to. In Zuckerberg words; "sending money to loved ones should he as easy as sending a photo".
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin is the most reliable? on: May 12, 2019, 10:00:57 PM
I realise that the lingering issues with bitfinex problems may adversely affect it. In times like this, considering the unpredictability of cryptocurrency, you might want to chose pax or USDC. They both have over $1b daily trade volume and are both stable coins
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No best year in crypto currency on: May 12, 2019, 09:48:06 PM
This is relative I must say. Your best year may be another investors best year. It All depends on your niche and inclinations. 2018 was really a bad year for me and I am sure most people will agree with me
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: May 12, 2019, 09:27:20 PM
I believe crypto was created to transfer value from one end to other. Its ability to make rich is just an unstable buy product. Depending on crypto to serve as a route to quick wealth will surely end in despair
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 50 coins that are worth looking at? on: May 11, 2019, 08:13:24 PM
Most top 50 coins are really eth killers, dapp platform and blockchain based. You may want to consider, ravencoin, abbc and ontology. The will be among the quickest to move when the bull run comes
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETH reach $200 after the upgrade on: May 11, 2019, 08:03:04 PM
I am really excited with the way crypto Is moving. Slow and steady. No rapid rise or fall. Today, Ethereum hut over $191 with a potential to cross $200. Bitcoin is also now trading at over $6700. There's hope for crypto afterall

154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining low difficulty coins on: May 11, 2019, 03:23:49 PM
I just ordered a cuple GPUs to get back into mining and wanted to do speculative altcoin mining, is there a resource that would list me new or current supported low difficulty altcoins? i tried with coinwarz but not having much luck..

i need

- coin that is currently minable
- coin that is listed on known exchanges
- coin that has very low difficulty

i dont care what its worth im willing to take a risk by mining lots of it

thanks for info

The best profitable coins with low difficulty are usually the new ones. You can mine Veil. It's less than 6 months old and listed on coinmarketcap and exchanges such as Stex, Citex and Vitex with trading rate of over 20 cents. Moreover, the difficulty is still relatively low

156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: May 11, 2019, 01:00:20 PM
the Veil Project amongst its other uses can be mined as it has a double approach more of an hybrid setup as it combines both Proof of work mining and proof of stake mining. if you want to get started with mining, the following are the major pools and mining softwares to use and their links.

mining softwares

 Suprminer (NVIDIA) - https://veilmine.com/
CryptoDredge (NVIDIA) - https://github.com/technobyl/CryptoDredge/releases
T-Rex (NVIDIA) - https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases
Wildrig (AMD) - https://github.com/andru-kun/wildrig-multi/releases/

Mining pools
Veilmine   --- https://veilmine.com/
Suprnova -- https://veil.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

Block explorers
Mainnet — https://explorer.veil-project.com/
Testnet — https://testnet.veil-project.com/

For those who have mined or still mining,  let's share experiences

What could be the best mining software here. I am looking for something cheap, durable. I understand CryptoDredge and T-Rex are the best but I can still use some more advice

This is unheard of mate.  I think your wallet has been compromised. You have probably entered your private key or mnemonics in a fishing website. Kindly transfer all your tokens and eth to another safer wallet to curtail the loss
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Germany's First STO - Your thoughts? on: May 06, 2019, 08:10:12 PM
Hello everyone,

Recently I discovered this STO called Bitbond. They are Germany's first STO with a BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht. It is the German financial regulation authority) approved Prospectus and will be using BitGo’s Business Wallet. I am curious what you think about the project. Do you think STO's are the next evolution in ICOs? Or just a rename? You can look at the article below.

https://www.bitbond.com/resources/bitbond-works-with-bitgo

Also if you want to visit their website, you can do that by clicking here - https://www.bitbondsto.com

They have already raised 1.8 million Euros according to their website and they are in their fundraising phase.

I am not usually fascinated about country of origin. I don't see it as a major factor to determine the success of a project. STOs are still Overrated and none has shown its worth till date. I rather prefer ICOs/IEOs, buy my coin and trade it for profits
