used bootstrap, checkwallet, repairwallet, no sync yet, whole night wallet is downloading something at speed 0.3-1Mbps but not blocks! So I still can't repair my old coins!
What's your wallet address? I have 5 wallet adresses and 99% of my coins still in stake mode. Why? And the wallet is still downloading at 450kbps. And I have tried again checkwallet and repairwallet commands, the answer from wallet was "true". SUGGESTION: Put Teslacoin in coinimi wallet if posible? Or on the ledger nano s?
I think saving your wallet.dat on flash disk and printing private key on paper is fine. Private key is most important. You can import your coins even without wallet.dat anywhere in the world. I saw many horror stories about third party wallets on reddit. |

Once you have your wallet open for 24 hours, your coins starts staking.
That means they start compiting with other coins to be the ones winning the newly created coins.
As it works in PoW, if you have 1% of the mining power you will win 1% of the mined coins. Same is in PoS.
what if i get a connection lost for example? so the 24 hours starts again from 0?
It won't start all over again. |

Finally I synced my wallet again. This is how I made it. 1. Back up or copy paste your wallet.dat somewhere in safe place. (if there's any coins in your wallet) 2. Delete everything except wallet.dat and conf file in teslacoin folder. 3. Download latest teslacoin wallet and start the wallet then close it. 4. Download latest bootstrap and unzip it. Copy paste the bootstrap files in teslacoin folder and replace them. Download bootstrap from here. https://mega.nz/#!FK52Rb7b!0qD8pHAtJZvMMukCKfc3XORFapB7RG9oET6l8rfcO_I 5. Start the teslacoin wallet and unlock it. If there's no connection use this conf file. https://ufile.io/8buzr6. Wait for few hours to sync. If you see coins are missing type this on console window: checkwallet If it show misspent coins type: repairwallet 7. Make sure always make a at least two copy of wallet.dat before using new bootstrap and wallet. |

What's happening with this coin, what's the reason for this sudden sharp increase in its price when overall the entire crypto market has been down in red for past 2-3 weeks? An artificial pump going on?
Pump or not current price will be the new bottom I hope. Good thing about POS coin is most investors tend to hold coins because of the stake. More coins you have more stake you'll get. It prevents the market dump. |

i finally synced my tesla wallet. the coins are now about 24 hours in my wallet ( unlocked and online) but there is staking mode on. I thought tesla is able to stake coins.. Am I wrong guys?  It should stay there at least a week. Then you'll receive stakes eventually. Now many people staking and the difficulty risen. It was much easier year ago because very few people staked it. Do you guys have nodes for old pow wallet? First I need to redeem my coins then import to POS wallet.
You shouldn't need an up to date POW blockchain or nodes to redeem your funds from the old wallet. Please search for previous posts about this topic, it has been covered extensively MANY times. The problem is I never received them in my wallet dat because I never really fully synced it. Transaction is still in the blockchain. Literally my wallet.dat has zero balance but the transaction is already made on network. If I could sync the wallet I can revive them. I already have privkey. |

Need some help staking. I bought ~735 TES and synced up the newest wallet over a week ago. Still nothing. I eventually locked the wallet and then unlocked for "mining". Still nothing. I would like to buy much more, but want to make sure it's all working before I get too deep into this coin. Any thoughts?  [EDIT] I have let the wallet run for several days at a time. Do I need more coins to stake? just wait - patience is needed here. wallet is synced ,fine, keep it unlocked and it will do its business. I imagine it would take at least a week with the relative size of stake. 735 coins out of a total 73.9 million total so far, is a relatively small stake but it will eventually be staked if the wallet is left open. buy more by all means. Can you send me your nodes? |
