141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 13, 2023, 07:21:56 AM
Have you experienced tilt over the long game?  How have you dealt with it?  How do you think you can gamble with a cool head,
Having a cool head in gambling is not something you learn overnight, even a long-time gambler will have a hard time keeping a cool head in a long game.

and how do you make yourself a good brake inside)
It takes character to call it a game and it takes a lot of losing and having the resolution to stop at the right time.

And why do people in general like to gamble? Huh  I never thought I would enjoy gambling) I remember playing cards for change with my cousin as a child, it was very funny when she lost, fell on the table, and shouted that it was all mine) Grin
It's inherent in us we love to take challenges and prove that we can overcome challenges, we enjoy it when we are winning and promise that we will come back to win this time.

142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 12, 2023, 10:58:33 PM

I believe everyone on this forum has made both good and bad decisions in terms of investing in altcoins. I recently made a mistake buying a lot of Dogecoins after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo into the Doge logo. Price was surging and due to FOMO, I bought a lot at the price of $0.099 and afterwards it started to dump like hell. If I continue to hold Dogecoins, the price might be dumping even lower but if I sell them now, the losses become concrete and I'll never have a chance to win back. Have you ever had the same experience ? What did/would you do ? Please share your opinions. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please contact me if you have any inquiry.

We have proven in the past that Dogecoin lived on hype and it's not really a stable investment, it remains on top because of Elon Musk, I have had a lot of bad experiences on so many altcoins with no usability only lived on hype and shill with, the bag holders are the one that makes a lot from this.
Honestly, it's hard to decide if you're an altcoin holder that's losing its value because you're still hoping that the price will increase so you can even up, and you get frustrated if it's not, it's hard to dump and forget your losses, compared to Bitcoin that can always make a rebound.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: they change the way we handle money and own things ? on: April 11, 2023, 10:38:10 PM
as decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and non fungible tokens (NFTs) become more popular, will they change the way we handle money and own things,

or will they only be used by a small group of people(like now being used) ?

Have you heard of the hacking and scamming in DeFi, it used to be huge and people are looking for its potential but it's not 100% safe and perfect, you cannot trust a protocol with issues to your money, yes they are popular but not the majority of the masses can handle the technicality.
And NFT is not yet gaining popularity among the masses only a small community adopts NFT, honestly, I'm one of those who do not believe in NFT, I consider it just hype.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hype ends ? on: April 11, 2023, 09:31:29 PM
What an interesting timing for this thread. BTC hits $30K just on the next day and internet explodes about it. I just hope it's gonna keep that level and the altcoins will follow.

Yeah, I just notice it today when I checked my portfolio so far for the last three weeks Bitcoin is great and will continue to perform better as we get closer to the next halving, and without any FUDS in the market we will go to the next price level probably the $40k mark, some altcoins will follow Bitcoin but these are altcoins that have proven their worth their worth for years.
I'm just disappointed that some new altcoins that are in my portfolio that I expect to perform when the market performs better are not doing good.
This is one of the risks of investing in new coins.
145  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Providing Fake google business Reviews (dbs00 ) on: April 11, 2023, 12:45:22 PM
Fake review hurts the real customers who rely on internet.

Once I went booked a hotel room seeing the rooms on internet and found that they in real the hotel was pathetic.
It really is and the only way to get back to them is to expose them by giving lengthy reviews on your actual experience in that hotel you can go as far as telling in the reviews that there's a possibility of them paying people to give good reviews, people love to read storytelling experiences on their reviews because paid reviews are shill type while telling your whole experience through telling will make your review a true one.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: April 10, 2023, 11:17:40 PM
I have been a crypto enthusiast for some time now, thou I have lacked consistentency, but over the years I have seen people who have carved out good lives for themselves with crypto, either by direct or indirect investment.,as a result I wish to invest in crypto with cash, but with minimal knowledge,so I seek the help of this house in advise on which crypto to invest in currently as someone who is just getting to learn about crypto currency.
If you're just starting out and you're not a risk taker only choose two coins Bitcoin and Ethereum, they have proven their mark in the market, and there are a lot of hype coins and coins that are being shilled in the market promoting them as the next Bitcoin or a coin that will replace Bitcoin do no believe these shills after 12 years it's still Bitcoin and will remain to be the top coin even until the last coin is mine.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: April 10, 2023, 11:04:23 AM
I am wondering what the fate of projects like Volt inu, Baby Doge and other meme coins would have been if Elon Musk never supported Doge coin, would Shiba inu ever made it to top 20? What would have happen to meme coins? Will there ever be any if Elon never existed?
I would like to remind you that these meme coins will not and never will exist if Elon did not support Dogecoin, the hype and the pump of the price triggers the creation of these meme tokens/coins, and developers and investors think the same if it's something that will generate them the profit they will support or invest on it.
So we can conclude that if Elon stops supporting Dogecoin that will end the meme coins trend, they are just there because the support is still there.
148  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think security is a prime feature to consider in payment getaways? on: April 09, 2023, 02:35:48 PM
Definitely, everyone will consider security as priority  while choosing crypto payment gateways. I have been using coinremitter for almost 1 year. This gateway has best security feature.
1. Two-factor authentication
2. Code card
3. Login history
4. Login shield
5. Login notification
6. Active login
So there are no chances to be hacked.

Are you the coinremitter owner, by the way?

I've never heard of numbers 2, 4, and 6, and the rest of these points are just standard operating procedures any web service should have.

2,4,6 are unheard of he should educate us on these security features do Coinremitter apply all of these, too much security will confuse users, and checking Coinremitter sign-up page https://coinremitter.com/signup you have the option to sign up using Google or Facebook something that is not secure, there has been reporting of Facebook accounts hacking.
2FA, email verification if logging in on a different IP is already ok.

The payment gateway should spend on a secured connection and encryption suited for the payment gateway like Geotrust

Thanks for any advice

Really max supply is 1 Quadrillion $SHIKOKU tokens, based on its tokenomics, its just a copy-paste and clone f popular meme coins
Quote
$SHIKOKU is a decentralized meme coin created by Shikoshi, to create an ecosystem of utility, and create long-term value for holders.

I don't see its potential when it will only depend on the popularity of the meme coins that existed earlier.

They even involve Buterin in their project, I hope Buterin will return this gift and don't mention this token to any of his social media accounts they just want to hype using Vitalik
Quote
As a thank you to the founder of the Ethereum Blockchain, Shikoshi gifted Ethereum Founder, Vitalik Buterin with 50% of the total supply, or 500,000,000,000,000 tokens. Shikoshi humbly requests that if Vitalik accepts this offer, that he burns 47% of the supply, donates 2% of the supply to various charity organizations, and reserves 1% to spend at his leisure.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top AI Crypto coins that can possibly change your life on: April 09, 2023, 03:27:13 AM
Is it possible that AI currency can change your life? Since the ChatGPT platform has been trending recently, that's why in this topic anyone here will know the top 10 AI crypto coins, this is based on the Forbes Advisor article.

It can help some sectors of the industry like the freelance writer sector but I don't think there's a future for these AI's if they have a token created for their platform, it's just a trend that will come to pass, just like the exchange hype, the PVP and NFT sure there will be tokens based on this hype that will stay longer than all the others but these hype tokens are not for long term.

If you're going to invest for profit be sure you follow the token that you're investing in so you'll know your exit point, there will be a lot of shilling and pump on these hype tokens be sure you take advantage of that, and make your exit when the majority is dumping and the project is losing popularity.
That's always been the case with this kind of token.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 12, 2022, 12:36:42 PM
Due to huge crypto exchange FTX brankcupcy . what is your lost amount?

my one is 120$ and i got the a new message that "Not your keys , Not your crypto"

I never use FTX not that I did not trust it but Binance for me is the only exchange worth trading even though I read that there's no fee on FTX, your $120 is nothing to the owners who lose over $10 billion from the collapse of his exchange, the market is highly volatile and so are trading on exchanges, you really can't be sure.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking forward to add exchange tokens to my portfolio on: July 28, 2022, 12:50:57 PM
Biswap token and Nominex are two of the exchanged-based tokens that I'm holding right now they are both staking rewards Biswap is the first DEX that listed BFG token and they have a good partnership, they claimed to be the

153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: June 22, 2022, 01:40:42 PM
They will not decide to open the casinos they managed without thinking of the risk, advantages, and disadvantages, it's a big disaster if the spike doubles because of the casinos, they can not let that happen, and their economy will crash, so I think they will employ the strictest protocol for casino players and will ensure that the operation of their casinos will not add to the surge of Covid whilew continue to keep the economy moving.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: June 21, 2022, 10:00:59 PM
@POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS
@ 5. Play with Real Money. To make money, bet real money.
@ 6. Play Slots.

LOL wtf am i reading?
In general, in the rest of the tips there is a small grain of truth or something worth thinking about, then these tips are frankly dangerous. I would say that this article is unlikely to convince someone smart/experienced to start gambling, but I'm sure that some newbie can be misled by these tips and learn a bitter lesson (that you can not trust other people's advice, but think with your head). If I were you, I would be more careful with the dissemination of such information.

You are right on these two points it has nothing to do with tips on how to win, playing slots is one of the hardest luck-based games I've played, and even employing the best tips on playing slots is not a guarantee that you can win here the author for a lack of something to add more on his so-called tips to win gambling have added questionable tips, its better to enjoy playing and if you're positive you can invite luck and win.
155  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: June 20, 2022, 09:48:15 PM
It's unfortunate that the signature campaign was paused they have a good run, of all the casino-based tokens they have a claim to be the number one in this category, participants and those who see the value of Owltoken and can participate in the campaign will take even 100% payment in Owltoken, 14 days ago they reached their all-time high but I'm bullish on this token that it can double their last all-time high price before the year-end.
Anyway congratulations to all whole participants and Sujonali you all did a great job introducing and representing Owltoken to the community.

Probably the team is not happy about the amount of Owl tokens they allocate to the bounty campaign compared to the result since many cheaters get there tokens by abusing the campiagn as per the manager. The signature campaign might be come back again soon after all the tokens coming from the bounty campaign get absorbed by the liquidity on exchange. I pnce a participants of the campaign and gladly that I already sold my tokens during the token listing on MEXC.
I guess the thought of having a bounty campaign was bad because the bounty section is full with bounty cheaters who will enroll in the bounty with multiple accounts just to collect tokens, but the signature campaign was most important as that will help promote the casino on the forum, I guess their may make a comeback later in the future but until then i will like to say owl team have done well with promotion and i wish them all the best in the gambling industry.

They've reached their all-time high during the campaign period that must surely attract attention and investors and some of these investors come from promotion on the signature campaign, I think they've done enough, for now, they will see if the absence of the campaign will have an impact on the movement of the price and its volume, but I agree that they have a claim as one of the top token based casino in the industry.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Trophy Stake Protocol Token | PancakeSwap Launch | Nomics Listed| 280k Total on: June 20, 2022, 09:32:14 AM
I'm glad to be in this campaign it's hard to find a good project nowadays and  Trophy Stake Protocol Token is a good find, there are many things that attract me here one of this is the platform, usability and of course roadmap, I also notice there is a popular online media coverage this makes the project look great in the eyes of the investors.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO launch on: June 09, 2022, 03:08:42 PM
How do I make people aware of my ICO?
It's hard or almost not going to work these days. People are done with ICOs and that's why you should also remove that hope for it, sorry to discourage you but that's the reality that only a few invest with ICOs these days and they're even more meticulous because of its past that has been bombarded with scams and fake projects. It's about the trust that you need to get and not just all about marketing.

OP can have the best words and the best marketing tools but because of the mess created by the past developers on ICO I don't think you can be successful in your Crowdfunding using an ICO, it's better to get private investors to invest in your project, create your platform and gain the trust of the investors first before they invest in your projects, in other words, show what your platform can do before asking more funds to sustain your project.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 08, 2022, 09:51:01 PM
... Some of which can solve some services issues faced in the industry today and this made me ask this question, which of the old projects will you like to see coming back again to achieve its original project idea to solve some issues facing the cryptocurrency industry at the moment and why do you want to see them back identify the real-time problem that coin can solve.

Not one of them, if the coin is dead or long been dead and they are making a comeback expect them to suffer the same thing like lack of support and poor activity coming from developers, there are investors who lose their money from investing from these dead coins if they want to make a return they should compensate these investors, investors will think that they are going to scam people again so it's better for these dead coins to stay dead.

The red tag is very much visible on my end OP also has a flag raised he like posting scam projects, imitation projects like this New Luna can be considered a scam, we have a lot of scam projects already and many of these are imitations of projects that gone viral like Dogecoin, Elon Musk and now this New Luna Classic, even if its an airdrop they will entice you to buy their shitcoin.
