142  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and primedice are the worst gambling sites on: June 11, 2022, 12:47:39 AM
I still don't know why people are making stake and pd look like the best dice sites when they are actually the worst.

Because you are concentrated on its bad sides and your opinion is not based on fact,

Quote
1. They do not give you loss back.

Can you give us at least one casino that will give your losses back, this is unheard of and tells how bad your opinion about casinos, you mean whether you win or lose, you still want your money back, your post is such a big joke and deserves a big laugh

Quote
2. The top high rollers are fake meaning you will never win first place Or the fake lotteries.

You have to back it up with proof they are not the number one casino in the industry and they cannot get Ambassadors like Adesanya if they do not have many high rollers to sustain their operations

143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 10, 2022, 12:47:01 AM
Time's up for Donaire. He is going to hang up his gloves and bid boxing good bye. Possibly not boxing in general because he might pursue a boxing clinic, a boxing gym, or perhaps a boxing mentorship, but his professional boxing career may be over. No regrets because he has proven his worth and skills. There is no unfinished business for him in the scene. In fact he will be inducted to the hall of fame because of his boxing accomplishments. He has nothing to prove anymore.

He should really consider hanging up his gloves now, it may not be a good farewell because of that defeat in the rematch with Inoue but he don't have much of a choice now because he is getting older and he may just be a stepping stone for the upcoming generation. Might as well retire while his name is still fresh, he has proven his worth already in this industry and that is already a good reason.
Every boxer does have their own ego whether they do hang up their gloves after a win or not and it would be depending on them but at the age of 39 then it isnt really that bad to consider on hanging up his gloves or

simply retire. The old donaire we used to knows cant already be seen from fast jabs and good footwork but we havent see this on this fight. If you do look closely or trying out to compare both physique then

he is much smaller in appearance than Inoue..I dont know if he lose weight too much yet im not get used to into those kind of body form of Donaire but well thats not a reason.

Well, he is turning 40 this November so he should really start considering hanging his gloves because judging from the last fight, he is not the Filipino Flash that we used to know anymore. His versatility and speed including the rate of his punches have already changed, he even admits that he is having a hard time at the fight because he can't follow Inoue's punches and the next thing he knows is that the punches were already landed at his temple. Nonetheless, we can see how dedicated he is to the fight as he even tried to have some other fights before he decides to chase the rematch but all of that was wasted because the gap is really evident.

Only he can decide if he wants to retire but based on his review of the fight, he just got caught being careless,  he wants to turn it into a brawl instead of being technical the counter punches did the damage because he is going in and daring Inoue to engage, he was badly hurt by that counter left hook, in boxing, they say the hardest punch you receive is the one that you doesn't see, Donaire admits that he doesn't know why he is in the floor after that left hook but before that left hook he is doing great, he miscalculated everything.
I don't see him retiring he still believes that he still has it, his father wants him to retire
Donaire Sr. wants Jr. to retire after 2nd-round TKO loss to Inoue

Even Arum thinks that Donaire has still some good fights left in him
Quote
“Nonito is still at his best but obviously, he’s not on Inoue’s level anymore,” Arum told BusinessMirror from his las Vegas home on Wednesday. “He’s [still] a good fighter, he’s probably that competitor fighter, but the only advice I can tell him is to stay away from Inoue.”

147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 02, 2022, 06:17:01 AM
Naturally, I am inclined to bet on GGG, because I think he is underestimated. But it may be more logical to bet on a knockout victory, since it is unlikely that he will be given the victory if he slightly outboxes Canello.
The thing is GGG is the challenger here, if the fight were really close, then the judges will decide Canelo will win. Looking on the scorecard where Canelo fought against Bivol, it doesn't make sense the judges scored 115-113 for Bivol, it's obvious won and not even close. I think 117-111/112 is fair considering Bivol almost dominated all the rounds and landed many clean punch.
We know this is a problem with professional boxing, since boxing is a sport of appreciation there is always a chance judges can be bribed or simply have a bias which affects their judgment, without a doubt Bivol won the fight and he did by a wider margin than the official result, still the reputation of Canelo was enough to shorten the difference in the score, for GGG things will be even more difficult because officially he has lost against Canelo already, even if such result was very controversial as well.

If the loss is controversial there should be a succeeding fight to once and for all resolve it, I hate seeing boxers winning by a close margin when you looked at the fight it's not even close, I love to fight that end by knock out or stoppage, there's already a lot of matches in boxing history that are very controversial and deprived boxers of deserving wins.
The first two fights between GGG and Canelo are too close to call I hope they can finally resolve it but I doubt it because they are both good in their last fights.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Can Old Casino Keep Up Without Support Here In Bitcointalk Or Signature Campaign on: May 25, 2022, 11:59:30 AM
Can an old casino that's very active here in Bitcointalk, through support, forum advertising, and signature campaign, suddenly pull the plug and stop doing all these things can still keep and still maintain its position in the market.

A case study is Bitvest and 777Coin we know that Lightlord was sick and now he is well and comes back from time to time but not doing the same thing they're doing for many years.

149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling Session That Lingers On Or Keep Staying On your Mind on: May 23, 2022, 05:18:57 AM
Anyone experienced or suffered from this, whether from winning or from losing where a particular gambling session keeps staying in your mind and you'll having sleeplessness thinking about that particular session over and over again, the same bet keeps repeating over and over again and you keep asking yourself what if you do the opposite.
I'm glad I overcome this and I see to it now that whenever I'm login off to casinos I'm playing I will not think about it whether I lose or win.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: May 22, 2022, 06:21:04 AM
I and many of my friends have our own mantra before and after we gamble, I just discovered this when we have a drinking session we find out that many of us have our own mantra before, while playing and after or even in the middle of playing.

Mine was "This is my lucky day and I'm claiming it" and when in the middle of the game "I need to play money that I can afford to lose".

How about you do you have one and when do you recite it before, while playing or after you gamble.
151  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game - Lucky Spin is fake? on: May 21, 2022, 12:01:59 PM
about this site
https://hash.game
https://bc.game

it has a daily Lucky Spin - win up to 1 Bitcoin...

255 spins in 8 months wait to hear other stories of spinning in free spins in faucets they are spinning ten times daily for over a year and haven't won the top price, before you complain of not winning the 1Bitcoin for that long period of time, do a research first and check the probability.

And why concentrate on lucky spins when there are a lot of games worth your time, I hate to blast your hope but lucky spin is there for people to try their luck not something to concentrate on and give much thought that you will win eventually, stop being positive on something that will not work.

154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causing victim to scam his family on: May 19, 2022, 01:24:59 AM
Here is the article: https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/courtandcrime/arid-40875731.html
Apparently Boyle Sports manipulated a man is a very sad way where he ended up loosing all the money he scammed from a family member. The man had probelms with Gambling and he tried to stop by closing the account on the website and at the end of the day they saw him stopping but kept sending him mails and at the same time, they apparently sent him a 50$ free betting which at the end ending up to be awful for him since he started it again and ended up loosing all the fortune. The whole things is extremely complex like Some Sherlock Holmes story. The person was not infact gullible since to fuel his gambling addiction he scammed his family member and then went to court and pleaded guilty as well blamed it all on the Boyle Sports.
What do you think who was in the wrong ?
I think both the bettor and the Boyle Sports were in the wrong.

It's a typical story of a compulsive gambler, they will do everything to keep on playing they are blinded by their own reasoning this is not new in our country compulsive gamblers are robbing their companies and their family just to continue playing.

And casinos are like that even if you want to stop they will keep sending you promotions so you can come back if you have a weak control you will fall into this, both have mistakes but the gambler has more liabilities than the casinos.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna Crashed! on: May 17, 2022, 02:00:54 PM
I was inclined to think that Luna will recover but not anymore after I have known the possible plan of its CEO to fork Luna.  Although the plan suggests an airdrop for holders, that move remove trust in the existing Luna market.  Terra CEO should have listened to CZ in order for the current Terra problem to be solved and strenthen the trust of the Terra Investors.
I think they have their own options before deciding to consider outside advice, so I'm sure they will eventually listen to CZ for the best advice as he is very experienced in crypto and the terra team despite following that advice.

What the team did are all wrong they should listen to Binance's CZ when he asked them to stop or halt the chain, now they are dealing with a very huge supply, if they have stopped it in the first place they will not be dealing with a very huge amount over 6 trillion, any other plans will not work they are dealing with a very huge mistake that they've made, its time for Do kwon to step down and he will be prosecuted for many thinks is a huge failure based on their bad decision.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever thought of doing your thesis on Gambling ? on: May 17, 2022, 12:26:53 AM
According to this article, the Dutch Gambling Authority have awarded 4000€ to students for two Gambling Related thesis.

Would you ever consider doing your research in Gambling

4000€ is such a huge amount those students must be that good to get the nod of the judges and be awarded this huge prize
I would consider doing a thesis in gambling because

1. I'm a player myself
2. I have friends who used to be hooked on gambling to interview
3. I am active in the gambling section of Bitcointalk
4. The prize is such a huge motivation that I can go an extra mile just to get the prize.

The gambling thesis involves a lot of information and should cover everything from the industry to players and mental health.

I have a similar experience to yours I was doing auto bet also and I accidentally close the tab while doing other things on another tab and forget to set up the stop loss and when I checked my dashboard again all the coins that I bet were zero and when I checked I just forgot to put the stop loss, I learned a lot from that experience that from then I always check my stop loss when playing auto.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep some Terra Luna coins to keep as a keepsake? on: May 15, 2022, 03:34:19 PM

from this answer I also think whether it is possible for many people to do the same thing. So I also ask you all, did you buy Terra Luna now to be used as a keepsake collection to remember the achievements and history of what happened to Terra Luna?

I feel sure this incident will be a new history in the crypto world. like in 2018.

There's no need to buy there is a blockchain record and articles written about Luna's downfall it is recorded in all the tweets articles and everything associated with its downfall, I bought some but already sold them it's no use holding speculative assets, some made profit other takes made huge losses, right now there is no announcement we'll know this week because the Luna community are very anxious on what proposals will be implemented, we are all left hanging here.
