141  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 05, 2020, 08:17:11 AM
the situation may affect the bitcoin prices in local exchanges in iran just for a while, but i don't think it can affect the overall global bitcoin prices. Because there is no so many crypto adapters in iran. (i am even not sure if there is a local exchange platform there or not.)
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Universities offering Blockchain degrees? on: January 05, 2020, 08:00:44 AM
I've toppled with a few online course sites like Coursera and Udemy which offer certificates of completion for the field of Blockchain. I'm aware of a mainstream University called the "University of Nicosia" which is offering a Master's Degree in Blockchain technology. But so far, prominent Universities within the mainstream world haven't offered Blockchain degrees yet. I'm sure that many Universities will start offering this since Blockchain technology is the future of finance. It's no secret that many businesses and companies are seeking talent in Blockchain tech. Having a degree in Blockchain, would allow you to gain recognition within the mainstream world.

Which is why, I'm on the hunt for Universities which are offering Blockchain degrees these days. I'd prefer to take courses online than physically for many obvious reasons. A comprehensive list of Universities offering Blockchain degrees would be helpful. Thanks in advance Smiley

i have never heard about it. i am pretty sure that there is no such a degree in my country. But what you are talking about is really interesting. It is also benefiticial for all the blockchain and crypto ecosystem.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: January 04, 2020, 05:06:14 PM
There is no constant answer for this question. For example buyers holders made so much profit 3 4 years ago. But the sellers won 2 years ago. So it depends on the aim of the market and same thing can makes you good or bad investors from time to time.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: January 04, 2020, 04:11:48 PM
"Nearly 2.7 trillion won ($2.3 billion) have been lost to crimes involving cryptocurrency in the last two years, according to South Korean government data."

where do you see the improvements being made against crypto criminal activity. this can really hurt the price for traders/investors if conditions don't improve.

it is really hard for the governments to control the crypto criminal activities. in such an anonymous system, it is really not possible to follow what kind of transfers are going on. i hope they can find a way to manage with this.
It is hard for the government to control the criminal activities inside the crypto world because of the system in which the users IP addresses can be hidden from others and if the criminals use the cryptocurrency as a medium from their transactions, the government or even the police cannot track them. And this is one of the advantages of using cryptocurrency although the crypto team is still falls under the government but the government doesn't have authority to manipulate the crypto world.

i think there is no any record about ip adresses on blockchain. As you told there is no way to record or track any ip addres in common blockchains. I dunno maybe they develop an alternative blockchain with a tracebility. But the question is, will the users want such a thing? wont they prefer to stay anonymous?

thatk you for the share. i am honestly very interested in how the adaptain is going to be. i mean we know that there are so many people that prefer traditional system. Even some of us do. how fast they will adapt to this alternative financial ecosystem. we will all see.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How easy is it to start your own crypto exchange? on: January 03, 2020, 08:09:30 PM
it is not easy at all. first of all you have to have a very strong team that is trustable, nonanonymous and popular. So people can trust and prefer to use your platform. And you have to invest high amount to be able to make marketing and circulate the flow for a while.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters answers needed on: January 03, 2020, 06:17:31 PM
What would you do if you've been promoting a project for over a month and the bounty manager refused to update spreadsheet? After getting in touch with admin on telegram channel they keep saying no update from team yet, what will be the best decision if you are in my shoe?

well, honestly i can say that you supposed to check the past of the bounty manager in the beginning. because there are so many crap campaigns and also so many good campaigns with crap managers. you should consider this factor in the beginning before joining the campaign.
you can let the project team know about this issue. that is the only thing that you can do.
149  Other / Off-topic / Re: Printable 3d model - Sun Tzu on: January 03, 2020, 09:37:03 AM
looks impressive and also what 3d printers can do in the future is really amazing.
I have been reading about 3d bioprinting. Some scientists have already become creating some organs. kidneys and livers... Considering there are so many people that have organ failure and waiting for organ donations, I think 3d printing will provide a longer and more healthy life for human being. And it is not a science fiction. it is reality. isn't it crazy?
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good sign for market on: January 03, 2020, 08:53:03 AM
For the past four years we have witnessed a massive drop starting from last week of December when it comes to the price of bitcoin but this year it was not the same case, does that mean that we have good days ahead? because even during 2017 bull run it started in November and lasted till the beginning of 4th-week of December then the price started to drop.

I think this is a good sign for bitcoin.

i hope so. there are a lot of people telling 2020 will be better. Because of the halving. I personally do not prefer to a sharp uptrend but it would be a good start to begin a slight raise in market including altcoins.
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post Your 2019 Success Stories Here on: January 03, 2020, 07:53:09 AM
2019 was the year of the ones that spent less time in crypto market  Grin The ones that were following but not trading too much are also another successful group.
Anyway this is the general characteristic of this market. we have to adapt in all this kind of bearish and bullish trends.  Smiley
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token? vs Coin? on: January 03, 2020, 06:51:47 AM
well. if you compare them according to price potential? tokens are mostly based on ethereum blockchain and they are mostly erc20 tokens. there are some of them with good potential and can raise up because of its usages.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: January 02, 2020, 06:16:08 PM
We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?

i dont know how many of the people here are ready for the raise. but it is a fact that most of us will not be ready because we scare that market will keep going bearish. that is why we can not dare to prepare enough for a possible bull.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: January 02, 2020, 02:24:41 PM
We have often witnessed that the growth of altcoin is associated with the growth of bitcoin as whenever there is a pump in the value of bitcoin we have witnessed green days for altcoins too but how long will altcoins be dependent on bitcoin? Do you think altcoin can do it alone and have it's own pump and dump without being dependent on bitcoin? What will it take for altcoin to prosper without bitcoin's involvement?

i dont think it is possible without bitcoin. First of all the market is so bearish at the moment. uptrend can begin only with bitcoin. marketcap grow if people start investing in bitcoin. and after a while (when whales, mid. investors thinks that they made enough profit with bitcoin), money maystart to move on altcoins. that may cause to an altcoin bull.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: January 02, 2020, 01:35:17 PM
no matter what the market be in 2020, i am pretty sure that there will be no bull again like end of 2017. I remember so many videos that time. people were just picking the cheapest coins from coinmarketcap and making huge profits. It was like gold rush...
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: January 02, 2020, 12:23:42 PM
maybe. i don't remember anytime in the past that much bearish. and it is really not possible to predict how long it will go on like this. But maybe considering the halving, bear market may also be ended in 2020. i hope it will end

Again, that halving should hype the market, otherwise I don't see any possible reason why the market should be bullish again.

Well, there might be some big surprises that we don't know yet, so let's just wait and see.

We can't be so certain of what will happen this year, bullish people would say bitcoin will  have a new ATH while bearish will say bitcoin will drop to $1,000.
in the end, one of them is correct.

I agree. it is hard to predict anything. but staying positive and collecting as much as i can makes sense for me. because if market turns to uptrend, i dont want to be one of those crying why they didnt buy anything.

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything can be bought by Bitcoin? on: July 31, 2019, 08:45:27 PM
By Bitcoin started buy and sell products in the market many days ago. By Bitcoin can be bought a lot of product now. Example such as, From Overstock.com, any kind of product can be bought through Bitcoin. Many such business entities currently accept Bitcoin as currency and sell their products. Homes has been sold by bitcoin in various countries. By bitcoin can also be purchased product on many online websites, and Amazon and BMW accept bitcoins.

It is assumed that, at this time using the credit card instead of the money, Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will be used instead of money and credit cards in the future world.

there are already some shopping platforms that accepts bitcoin. but i do not believe that bitcoin is a proper payment item. because of the transaction speed and the fees. there are better blockchain based solutions.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Alt Portfolio on: July 31, 2019, 08:27:47 PM
okay. most of them looks nice and good projects. but i do not advise you to buy that many altcoins at the same time. because it is really impossible for 1 person to follow all of them really properly.
