141  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: December 31, 2019, 03:32:16 AM
It is good that there is no vote that goes to the option Disappointed and directly trade all holding Bitcoins. I feel glad that we remain strong as a community of Bitcoin supporters who are looking far beyond the temporary price fluctuations. Bitcoin is a very young currency. It has a very bright future ahead of it. It might even become the topmost global currency in the next decades. We should be looking at this potential rather than at its daily price changes.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: New bill would make Facebook’s cryptocurrency a security under the law on: December 31, 2019, 03:11:58 AM
Whatever classification this new law will assign to Libra, it is already moot because Libra is not even in existence. Libra is not a thing for now so there is really no point classifying what is not here. Congress seems paranoid. And their classification is not going to change anything. They just want to believe what they want to believe. The rest of the people are beyond their control on what they will also believe.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if you have 1 btc what would be the coin that you buy and hold ? on: December 31, 2019, 02:49:41 AM
if you have 1 btc.... give us the strong coin that you will invest in and hold it and why

My number one option is to keep that as Bitcoin. I might not really exchange it for something else. We all want Bitcoin more than any altcoin. In fact we are trying our best to gather altcoins so that we will have Bitcoin. We are trading altcoins as best as we can so that our Bitcoins will grow. So why would I convert it to something else if that is already a goal achieved?
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banned ETH wallet and metamask android client on Playstore on: December 31, 2019, 02:29:12 AM
They just want to wash their hands on this kind of thing, If anything happens with this Apps or someone will get scam with some big amount of cash and the Apps has anything to do about it, Google play store will also be featured. because they got those apps from them. this is not just a random removal they think about getting rid of these apps in their play store with some consultations of their advisers.

This is possible. But I think they have always been screening apps admitted on Google Playstore. Not every app can enter there because it has to be checked for possible virus injections. Google has also a policy not to admit crypto mining apps. That is supposedly the reason why metamask is blocked.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 31, 2019, 02:06:28 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?

My sources of income in cryptocurrency are limited to those you mentioned only. The one that is scrapped is investing in an ICO or IEO. That is not profitable anymore. The same with airdrops. Airdrops are waste of time nowadays. It is just a pointless effort to earn. It cannot be a source of income actually.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][New Token][LOTTO9 - L9 Announcement][Pre-sale/Bounty Sale] on: December 30, 2019, 10:10:03 AM
If your tokens are created for the sake of gambling, why are their values so high? You must have a good reason for it but I cannot think that a good gambling token should have a very high value. We all know that there are so many small time rollers out there who gamble only with small change or extra money. 1 L9 = 1 ETH is too high for me.

Initially thanks for your response. You can check all the tokens related to gambling has lot of supply but here L9 has very small supply only 99999 and we had a perfect and different plans for its success. Please check other coins supply and think about it once. And we supporting 100% buy back but what coins you saying that had no such things hope you look at all those things once again and thank you.

That is one thing that got me curious actually. All I am saying are my personal thoughts and you may take them as a nuisance idea of one single member here. I just want to express them as I thought. 99,999 of total supply makes it too few if it is for gambling. Well, if the betting will allow 0.01 or lesser of L9 tokens then it is good. I have noticed that tokens used widely for gambling such as DOGE has billions of supply. It is easier to place a bet with whole numbers rather than small fractions of a coin.

Thanks for your suggestion and we got lot of suggestions from lot of users and we decided to change contract address to new address with 10 times increase in tokens and 200 times reduced price, please check once.

Total supply : 999999 L9

presale price: 200 L9/1ETH

Pre-sale/Bounty sale Address: 0xf8a99dfcfe5fc4062b5af69071dc6ff7f81408d6

Wow. That's nice to hear. This is good that you are listening to the suggestions of the community. Other projects are too hard on their design and ideas that suggestions from other people are looked down as mere garbage.

999,999 is good enough, at least for me. 1 L9 is not too big or too small to gamble with.

Thanks, we love to hear suggestions then its easy for us to improve better and we like to group as a good community group not like some other coins do presale and left without improvements. We like to grow as community win-win for both project team and users too then it leads to a good success.

Do you have an existing bounty right now?

I am referring to bounty campaigns such as signature campaign, translation, twitter, blog, etc.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banned ETH wallet and metamask android client on Playstore on: December 30, 2019, 09:44:29 AM
after an error that occurred on youtube google again acting on the ETH wallet and metamask. I think what happened to this is not a mistake, and as it was reported in some news that Google did tighten searches on crypto, it was even rumored that the search for relevant keywords regarding crypto had been deactivated, so it was more difficult to find it in a program developed by Google. . as a suggestion, look for other alternatives to find eth wallet, or metamask.

If it is impossible to search for an alternative within Google playstore then we can leave that and search elsewhere. There are wallets that could be downloaded directly from their sites and not through Google playstore. It seems Google is trying to show some side or preference in terms of which to include or not in their stores, not on the basis of the demand but on their biases. This is not a good decision.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: December 30, 2019, 09:15:06 AM
maybe not, maybe yes. crypto prices in the future no one knows. including bitcoin. someone can make any prediction. but we who read must keep anticipating. 2019 is staying for a few days. and will welcome 2020. while I still see bitcoin at $ 7200. Personally, I'm not sure it will reach $ 100,000. but again, the price of bitcoin in the future nobody knows.

There is a price prediction that we are not sure if it will take place or not. That is, if the price is reasonable and not just picked up somewhere far. $100,000 in 2020 is certainly a price that is not reasonable to be achieved next year. If it is so, then it is nothing but a mere FOMO attempt. $100,000 is beyond the possible price range of Bitcoin in just a single year.

Insights with Cartesi’s Advisor — Serguei Popov (Co-Founder of IOTA)

Recently we held an exclusive interview with our advisor, Serguei Popov. Serguei is a research mathematician working in the field of Probability Theory and Stochastic Processes. He graduated from and attained his Ph.D. at Moscow State University and is currently a professor at Unicamp in Brazil. Serguei is also one of the co-founders of IOTA.

This is a nice addition to your team. This man must have a lot to offer to the potential success of Cartesi. Or so I believe.

Is the man not anymore connected to IOTA or he is still involved with the project?

I have noticed a lot of projects before that put as advisors popular crypto personalities but vague as to the bounds of their responsibilities as advisors. And many of them actually failed. How involved is Popov in your project?

The first question is already answered by other members here.

But I am curious as to your other statements. They bear a serious allegation. Are you implying something?

What do you exactly mean by this?

Who is the friendly moderator?

Because most of the times moderator delete the posts without telling you.

and if you pay them they won't do anything with your posts.

152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: December 29, 2019, 04:08:38 AM
I think it’s just the free market that is making some coins succeed and others fail. You can call that boycotting or any other term, but it’s a fair way to shake out the bad projects or the redundancy.
Maybe you was right because many exchange market have adopted with higher payment fees for every coin want list with their exchange, developer will try to listed with big exchange market but have faced risk with lower price because they have give higher payment fees for each exchange market listed with bigger amount.

What is the connection between the free market freely deciding on which projects to succeed and which projects to fail and exchange market charging high fees?

If a project is a really shitty project, even if it is listed on the top exchanges, it will remain shitty and will fail to gain the trust and the volume of investors and traders. Even if it can pay the high fees of elite exchanges, it will not gain volume because traders will be aware of how shitty they are. They will still fail.

154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 29, 2019, 03:17:59 AM
Bitcoin's will surely have good days ahead post halving but which will be the most valuable altcoin for 2020?  I vouch on Ethereum and Tron but I would like to know expert's opinion as it would help other members while choosing their altcoin investment as altcoin does pump along with bitcoin so those who cannot afford to invest into bitcoin can invest into altcoins.

Everyone can afford to invest in Bitcoin. If they can invest into altcoins, there is no reason why they cannot do the same into Bitcoin. If they have a hundred USD to invest in Ethereum or Tron, they can also do the same with their USD to Bitcoin. I am not an expert but if there is one coin that is the best among all thousands of cryptocurrencies it is Bitcoin no doubt.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] bmy.guide | Connecting Travellers All Around The World 🛵 on: December 29, 2019, 02:55:26 AM
Ok I hope the right choice for the livecoin exchange can reach as targeted, soon the public will see the final results of the sale, the quality of the project will also affect investor interest, improve services to the public to get more attention

As I can see on the Livecoin exchange, during 5 days of IEO only 4685 GUIDE tokens have been sold, so it seems that the "bmy.guide" project will not reach a soft cap. According to the IEO details, the token price is 0.000026 BTC (0.17 USDT), so the total trading volume is about 4685 * $0.17 = $796. Two days of IEO left. This information is publicly available.

Perhaps traders do not invest in new startups, because they prefer to buy and sell highly capitalized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.

This is sad news. I hope they are inviting institutional investors to take a look at their project and for possible investment. They should also present their project in different exhibit, conferences, and shows around the world. If this will remain with this pace, they should also consider extending their IEO while the marketing is also happening at the same time. A pace such as this might put the entire project at possible end.

I have seen that you have a current campaign for people to post their pictures in your site. I have a question about it. What if the current allocation will be drained or the campaign is over, what will happen to the posters? Will they be receiving nothing anymore? Are the payments given only now because they are promoting it and will stop later on?

The PostCard campaign is meant to increase the platform's database as well as promote it and raise awareness for it. We can't force anybody to post their precious photos on the platform unless of course there's a reward for doing so. As for those who already posted and will post on the bmy.guide platform, yes, they will still earn even if the Postcard campaign is over. They earnings will come from all the collected fees on the bmy.guide platform. 25% of the total profits will be shared amongst the active users of the platform. The number of "flaps" you receive on your posts determines how much you earn from the platform.
I suggest you read the Whitepaper here for more details.  Wink

Thanks for the very fast response, one factor for a rising project to be trusted.

A follow up question, the 25% share will be divided among all users in what form? Is it going to be in BTC? And is it going to be on a monthly basis or annual? I will try browsing your whitepaper and visit your site.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best performing cryptos of 2019,what have you played? on: December 28, 2019, 02:12:42 AM
Since the start of 2019, the crypto market has been on the receiving end of an insane amount of financial volatility.Recently the media listed some cryptocurrencies that have maintained a good financial status throughout the year, but not named Bitcoin.

They are ETH, EOS, BNB, BFT, XTZ, XNX, BCH, ATOM, LTC, BAT.

Do you agree this list or any other additions? Smiley

They should have included Bitcoin. In 2019 alone, Bitcoin has grown more than three times if we consider its all time low and all time high within the year. It did not recover the old price but it has grown and left the $3,000 - $4,000 limit. It has even hit $14,000.

The list is very limited. I am not aware of their basis for the list but there were several more unknown altcoins that had their pumps within the year.

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP repeat last 2017 bull run? on: December 28, 2019, 01:29:42 AM
There is no reason to believe that the 2017 bull run will be the last. In fact, if the 2017 bull was considered huge and unbelievable enough, the potential is much much bigger. The rest of the 95% of the world's population have yet to join the crypto community. When they do, XRP will be one of the leading altcoins to benefit from it.
