141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: January 26, 2020, 03:16:10 AM
Bitcoin do really shows an active example of how volatile it is, 2020 is speculated to be a good start for cryptocurrency as we started the year with a bullish trend from most of the cryptocurrency on the CMC. But this doesn't have any strong basis for the entire market to show bullish trend, but with bitcoin alone, it could drive altcoin's market price to soar way up high with the news concerning bitcoin halving that for me, is enough to say that market could be bullish this year.
The way January 2020 enters is really a relieved from what we experienced in December 2019 for we experienced really dump prices but now bitcoin has been stable in the $8000 range for weeks and i hope this will continue. The bitcoin halving may take effect after a few weeks so we may see the effect of halving to bitcoin and other altcoins in the last months of this year so i think we may still see bear trend but i am assured that we will experienced morr bullish trend this year.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What is your opinion? on: January 25, 2020, 02:00:08 PM
in terms of usage, I think it can. because digital currency from banks is likely to be equalized by fiat, so the price will adjust to the fiat exchange rate. and for real use cases, maybe digital currency banks will be more widely used. but in terms of investment, I think bitcoin will still be number one.
The usage of digitalized fiat currency and the cryptocurrency can be different so it will be hard to compare both of them but i agree that in terms of using it in your daily life digital currency in banks can be more convenient than crypto for we don't know if the stores we go will accept cryptocurrency so in terms of usage fiat still dominates crypto but like what you have said when you want to invest then go for bitcoin. So my conclusion is it's still Digitalized fiat/ Digital currency from banks will still sits at the top for some time until most of people can habe their own devices
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the price of Altcoin be good by the end of 2020? on: January 25, 2020, 10:34:14 AM
Yes there is no doubt about altcoins having a good looking price if a lot more people will use it for the demands will increase but i think we'll not see it soon for there is still lots of issues that concern others to be involved in cryptpcurrency but lot of people are expecting bitcoin and other altcoins to have higher price later this year because of the halving, bitcoin affect altcoins price so if bitcoin pump this year then so do altcoins.
144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: January 25, 2020, 04:30:24 AM

You are right, through an experience we can understand which strategy we have to follow because basic knowledge will help to know basic knowledge about the trading. The strategy will be implemented only when we have good experience of trading, even an experienced person will face difficulty during their trading.

Experience will always be our best teacher, it is not enough that everyday we are looking and studying for more strategies if we can't even have the time to do trading for us to have experience, let's apply some basic strategies first by starting to trade at small amount, then when you have your own strategy and learning trading then you can start to add your capital.
Yes. Start trading will a small capital first and when you are already skilled in trading, you can start trading with a bigger capital already. Trading will be very profitable especially if we really know what we are doing even if there are so much risks in it.
That is what i am always daying here in the forum that experince is indeed the best teacher that we can have in order to be better in lots of fields specially trading in cryptocurrency and yes even if you have big money to spend on trading it is recommended that you start with small if you're a beginner because that is where you will analyze and assess the market and how trading works and as you go by you will get familiarize to the market and how does it change and by that i can say that you can be called an experienced trader.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Alts instead of Bitcoin for far greater returns (or losses) on: January 24, 2020, 03:40:26 PM
well no one can conclude what you are doing now because we will see the results later, but yes it is a bit risky if putting all your investment in ALT would be better if you put 50-60% in BTC the rest in ALT. anyway goodluck for your investment.

Many people are splitting their investment into more than 10 cryptocurrency because they are never sure with one coin analysis, crypto price could always suprice us even with a great analysis and good news a coin could be dropped because dumped by whales. So if we want to survive in cryptocurrency, never putting so much expectation in one or 2 coins only
It's better to diversify your funds than investing it in two or three altcoins. Invest more on bitcoin and choose the best altcoins you think that would give you the profit you wished you could get during the bull run. Don't trust too much on altcoins because most of them are just following the trend of bitcoin. So always stay in bitcoin no matter what.
Indeed, most altcoins are like shadows of bitcoin's price movement so i am a little bit against the OP's decision to choose altcoins rather than bitcoin to be in his portfolio. Making your money go to multiple cryptocurrency can help you maximize your profit and minimize your loss so i agree that you put large percentage of your total asset in bitcoin maybe 40%-60% range and then choose good looking altcoins like ETH and XRP and others to complete your portfolio.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 24, 2020, 02:40:24 PM
I believe that the time will come, slowly the altcoin starts to crawl up now and my hope is that by the end of the year it will be like this last year. The number of short positions fell to a historic low. This suggests that the bears have exhausted their strength, and perhaps soon we will see the growth! I hope so.
Hoping the same too. After looking at how alts perform earlier this year I went from skeptical to optimist that there would be another bull run this year for alts and Bitcoin.

This recent correction gives a nice opportunity to buy some Bitcoin and alts. I'm especially interested in ETH and LINK. Would start placing buy orders from here and lower to get a nice averaged-down price. Hope it'll pay off later this year.
Well yes i am also looking forward for the performance of altcoins this year but i am not much expecting it to happen early this 2020, it might happen this mid year but i expect it to happen in the last quarter after the bitcoin halving. The usage of altcoins and the popularity needs to increase so that it will have higher demands in the market which results to a good price movement, but of course not all altcoins will rise, only those good altcoins in the market and the others altcoins may be left out.
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You CANNOT trade successfully without RISK-MANAGEMENT on: January 22, 2020, 03:49:08 PM
Diversification is a part of risk and management, we cannot just put our fund in one investment. Having risk and management will help us to diversify our funds. Those investors who do not diversify their funds are the one who keep losing in the market because of their good. The win that we can get if we will all in out funds in one investment is high but the lose that we can get is also high and that is why we should have proper risk and management to minimize our losses.
Indeed having our money go into multiple things will help us maximize profit and at the same time minimize the loss that we can possibly get because of the diversification that we make but of course this thing is the OP's strategy or risk management and people can have different ways to lessen our risk we only need to do is to research about our way of trading on how we will make it less risky so that we can have more profit. Experience will help us identify our own way of trading and our own way of risk management
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 22, 2020, 02:37:41 PM
full time trading feels bad when we dont make money sit in front of pc all day for nothing , this is a part of full time trading we have balance it and continue everything as cons make think is as part of what you are doing wait for good markets to make money and enjoy
A real trader must know that in what we are doing , we will not get what we are wanted in an instant, we need to wait patiently for our coin to pump, it will be tiring yes, especially when full time trading but we need to accept this fact and take the risk and enjoy it. It will soon make sense and it will not be boring after all.
You are right people get stress and worry about trading when they lose money and they lose only because of their mistakes so avoid mistakes and earn profit happily it will be interesting. When you feel trading is getting stressful for you so you will not feel easy and in trading needs wise and calm decisions so that you will be good at trading we should remain careful and never panic, control your emotions.
Having a time for you to enjoy yourself like doing your hobbies or anything will help you to relax and reset your mind for a bit so that when you dive again in your full time trading you will not have bad decisions and also for people who are planning to do full time trading expect that you will experienced boring times but make sure to have a goal or vision on why are you doing full time trade so that you will not be minding those boring hours that will come. Most important of all is to take care of your mind, don't stress for your greatest asset in trading is your mind for it will be the one making decision in your trades and daily check on the market.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To be a successful trader need help of a successful trader! on: January 22, 2020, 01:26:09 AM
Worthy suggestion even i learn many things from the content,I want to share that the susses come with knowledge, commitment and consistency. There is no hard and fast rule fr the traders but learning from he past experience and market awareness bring more confidence in trade.

Successful traders spend more time on technical analysis and they put money on trade which afford to lose. They believe in their research and dont believe in rumors. Successful traders learn from loses and move one rather stop to do nothing but they only focus on goals.
For this I prefer the old-fashioned way, namely by asking directly to people who are already experienced, not merely eating raw what I see in the content, or if indeed we cannot meet with experienced people, at least we have further chat about good trading procedures, I see a lot of people who have just learned a little of the content that he just saw, but have acted like a professional and this is also rife, after seeing what you say it seems I agree and we also must have the best way to trade here. Don't just copy what people do.
Indeed we don't really need to copy one's strategy just to become successful like them for we all have our unique skills and ways of doing things but those ideas that you can get from an experienced trader must only be a guide and do not take it as a "must do" things, remember that the best teacher for ourselves is our own experience, we can't learn it from someone but ourselves so it's okay to ask for help but also invest time and effort in your own studying about trading.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: January 21, 2020, 02:38:18 PM
if you have benefited from crypto by trading or other. in my opinion better is part of your BTC for real investment. buy land, apartments, house, gold, or company shares. (Apple, Samsung, etc.) so you have some great investments. besides, if you have more advantages. make a real business for you ... to support the future in real life.
Those thing will really be a good idea to spend some of your profit from bitcoin but if i will have enough money, i will buy a land and build apartments in it, having that kind of business will really help you for it is a secure profit every month, its like you have a side job with a good amount profit. I would like to see the fruit if my works in cryptocurrency in a real business here in the world like what you have said but of course i will not only spend it in investment for i will like to have something for me like a new gadget or something that will make me happy and at the same time help me with my cryptocurrency.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: January 19, 2020, 04:13:27 PM
I think we just cannot find out how famous and how strongest the currency is just by it's value , it also depends on how it can be put into practical use all around the world , we cannot just weigh them in like this , I don't think they will die , I don't think they ever will become less important or dominant.
I personally think the Fiat system is an amazing thing but  interference of it with the governmental corrupt plans makes it amazingly full of loopholes .
You really don't depend it on how popular or strong it is, it was a decision of world's developed countries that dollar becomes a global currency and they also depend it on the countries economy and even though euro priced at a higher value still dollar is stronger so i think fiat will be still around in the future because it is like the representation of each country, fiat and crypto may join in the future to create much more better currency system.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why its easy for a new comer to get scam on: January 19, 2020, 03:32:49 PM
Quote
Why mostly the victims of scam, are newbies?
The answer to this question is simple because they are "newbie" to a certain things. Stuff that they dont know like you said lack of ideas or knowledge. Some persons might abuse this weakness. The only thing we need to remember is when the offer involves money, we need to be careful review it many times, find feedbacks from other users before trying anything.
Indeed there is no better answer than that but that reason are slowly dying because we are in a world where information is just a few clicks away so better to research about something you want to get into before really getting into it so that you won't look like an easy target for scammers. Money isn't that only thing you need to invest here in crypto, time and effort as well.
153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things needed for people getting started with crypto on: January 19, 2020, 02:37:23 PM
When we started crypto we are looking for things we need for crypto to get started
for me here are only things you need.

  • Small amount of bitcoin to get started
  • Crypto wallet
I would shorten this list to this.
Its because when they see how and how easy is to "send transfer" of btc, they will want to know more after.
They will want it on their own which is invaluable. Its hard to "force" someone to learn bitcoin.
Indeed, you dont need much in order to start doing things in crypto, you can start by those two things, having a wallet with cryptocurrency in it but it is much better to have bitcoin and then you can explore everything about crypto as you go through your journey here, experience is an important thing in crypto for it will make you better and also starting isn't the only thing that needs to happen you also should know how to maintain it.
154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start earning crypto? Bitcoin or altcoins? on: January 19, 2020, 09:52:32 AM
Hi members of this forum.

I am just starting in crypto stuff and I am a little confused beacuse the overload of information online. I've read that Bitcoin is not what it was used to be, or that mining is not profitable anymore. Also I've read that to make money it is better to work with altcoins.

What would be your advice for someone who does not own any cryptos but want to get some to enter in the crypto trade world?
Is it better to mine alt coins? If so, do you advice on one in specific?
And what is the  fastest way to earn BTC?  I have read that with signature campaigns but I am a newbie so I can't have a signature yet.
Any advice?
Thank you

Right now is the best way to earn Bitcoin even a small amount of satoshis is great as the price is moving up, I highly recommend this forum Cryptotalk, I have an account here, and I'm earning 1000 satoshis, it's better than bounty campaign from ICO and much better than faucets where you are only earning 10 sats per claim.

1000 sat per post is very less and you should only work for it if you have no other skills. If you have some skills, then you may earn a lot more through freelancing and even if freelancing doesn't pay you in crypto, you can always convert your earnings in crypto and save it for future.
I think 1000 satoshi per post is not that low, its just a little bit below average but it still worth joining the campaign specially for the newbies because they don't have much knowledge about cryptocurrency trading or other works in crypto that they can earn money but even though you learn about those things the campaign for every post is still good for you can post after you do trading or other stuff. In crypto you should have lots of skills and know lots of things to way to earn money so that you can be successful.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: January 19, 2020, 05:46:55 AM
The best thing to do to protect yourself and all of your assets is to simply guard it off. Don't let anyone knows anykind of personal business you have. Learn to keep it as a top secret if you have this kind of multi or huge kind of accounts. Simply as that.
In what way do we have to protect it ?, To protect ourselves from hacker attacks, which is to save the exchange sites that we often trade, and store your private key on the spreadsheets that you have created to keep you from forgetting, that is one of them, there is still one many ways and it depends on ourselves
storing all private keys in 1 spreadsheet account is indeed good but you also need to know that you have to be able to secure your google account and make sure you do not access other websites or install add-ons by using the existing email spreadsheet data because when you are phishing then You will lose all assets when hacked.

what if you keep the private key assets in printed form and afterwards are covered with protectors so they don't get damaged when exposed to water and are stored in your safe or cupboard.
Well the best way to fight or avoid people who likes to hack an account for money is to not store too much private account information in the internet because internet is a open/public network where you can be hacked anytime so prevention is a priority, let us not make things easy for hackers, what you have said is a very brialliant idea, put your information on a multiple papers and keep them and make sure to use high quality ink and paper so that it won't fade for some time.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 18, 2020, 05:30:55 PM
Well lots of things can happen and one of that is what were thinking about having a slowly but surely mass adoption of cryptocurrency in the world and then after that cryptocurrency will be our future but i also been thinking about the situation of countries having their own fiat currency becomes digitalized because every country has their fiat that represents them as a country so its hard to think of making way to cryptocurrency but i'm hoping that crypto can compete with fiat in terms of usage in the near futre
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: January 18, 2020, 04:58:51 PM
As a simple users we can do is secure all what we have, and learn more and improve your knowledge about crypto or everything around in crypto. for me, it is our first thing to prevent crime in crypto. or if we have friends that want to enter, better to educate them. we need to make a small move too, so that the crime will diminished and the rate of risking our funds will lessen.
Indeed, prevention is better than having someone caught who are responsible for the crypto crimes happened because chaos will be present even if you caught the criminals, the exchange or crypto platform that's been a victim of hacking can lose their sites so investing time and effort about having a safe and secure accounts and getting informed about what's going on inside the blockchain when a transaction is being processed is a must for it will be our assers once we encounter situation like crypto crimes, data is the most valuable thing in the internet so don't hesitate to spend time, money or anything to secure it.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 17, 2020, 02:17:57 PM
High volatility in cryptocurrency makes the use in real life by vendors almost impossible. If I'm a gas vendor, I will most likely not accept payment in cryptocurrency if I don't understand the concept behind it. If I don't also know how to handle my keys I won't accept it if I can't keep up with the market to avoid loss I won't accept it either.
Even if you knew about blockchain and cryptocurrency it will still be a hard thing to accept cryptocurrency as a payment for crypto is very volatile so profit is not guaranteed. It will take us very long road in able to get closer to that kind of world where we can use crypto as a payment for our daily needs. For now i hope that blockchain and cryptocurrency will go towards being mainstream so that we can attain that kind of vision.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 17, 2020, 11:20:24 AM
We have been seeing increases in the market since the new year. And in this case, it has further increased the expectations of investors who are already hopeful from 2020. Like many investors, i hope the increases will continue too. In my opinion, especially if Bitcoin price continue this rapid increase, we can see significant high increases in altcoins this year.
Indeed, i was slightly shock when i see the price movements of altcoins compare to last quarter's price movement because it is increasing as we go through January 2020 and i was expecting this to happen this mid year but it is increasing early this January 2020 and this gives me more confidence that altcoins will reach higher prices as we go through this year so altcoins will be really good this year.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 16, 2020, 12:21:33 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position

New Altcoin needs time to be able to compete with established coins or tokens. As a new project, it takes time to gain investor confidence and also develop its products and I think it is a safe step to sell new project tokens and exchange them for bitcoin
Indeed, when a new coin enters the market it will take lots of struggles and hardships to prove the worth of your coin and that will take years to be done but once your coin gets known it will be worth it because investors will trust it but in this year new altcoins can really be in danger because of the possible massive price pump of bitcoin that can surpass its ATH so if you have quite big money on new coins then it is a wise move to convert them into bitcoin or other worth it cryptocurrency like ETH.
