For sure something will happen after 1st of August, but don't think it is going to result in price change immediately. As soon as people realize the hardfork fears were unfounded I think it will go back up pretty fast. In my opinion it will spike up vertically and alts will follow. |

I agree with many of you, hold is the way. I want to add that the BTC split dilemma will be the key: if things go wrong there, the dip will be huge and on the contrary if things go smooth we could see BTC 4k soon.

I think people exaggerates this situation and make it more bad than actually is. Why do people falling on this? Bitcoin won't only correct it will jump to 6k and this is the way for whales to prepare for another rush up. Major analyzes showing us that Bitcoin can go much higher than we expecting, but still people selling like there is no tomorrow.
If they are in profit it's a smart move. If not... it's panic sell! |

If you are a lover, up to 40% of your portfolio. Otherwise 15-10% as a lower bound. For the price, I agree with 100 USD this year. |

Don't do that. Bitcoin should the bulk every serious portfolio. ETH is a solid option, so I would suggest you to open some position anyway.

Why is all the investment going into more blockchains?
We need more consumer focused applications to create the ecosystem. Having so many new blockchains is like having multiple internet / phone lines at home.
In contrast, we need applications like smart tv, netflix, spotify, web browsers...
If we put all the money into infrastructure and not in apps, this will inplode like the fiberoptic investments 20 years ago, that no telco made any money with.

I agree with you, but right now the info-structure is still not solid. Bitcoin has scaling issues and it's not meant to execute smart contracts or carry additional data anyway. Ethereum is the best platform right now, but suffers from many different scaling issues and insufficient developer base. New proposals like IOTA could shift the paradigm and make ETH and other coins obsolete, and this can happen to IOTA itself. An entrepreneur could invest on a tech that is already old six month later, that's why it's so difficult to create actual apps on top of the existing coins. Moreover there is no way to plan how much time coding this stuff will require. Time management is fundamental. While if you start a team project in python you can give an approximate timeline, if you develop in solidity there is no way, since the language and software are continuuosly evolving. |

I feel like some whale is artificially keeping the price low with few BTC, by shaking weak hands, and then buying cheap.
The debut on Bittrex will be tell us the real price, all considered I expect something like 3x Ico price.

Honestly it's not planned, but who knows, maybe in the future... You have done beautifully well, you are one of those people that makes the world go round, please try to include an option where someone can add any altcoin of his/her choice and see it updated.

You can already choose any altcoin from the ALL COINS section, which pulls data from coinmarketcap. You can monitor the price in this way, even though you don't have access to other data like high, low, the charts and so on. In the future we should add more exchanges in order to cover in detail even the smallest coins. |
