141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Homeless use Bitcoin on: March 18, 2018, 03:46:02 PM
Guys what do you think about Homeless people who use cryptocurrency on the street is that an evolution or something else ?

I don't see him as a homeless person, from that picture you can tell that he ran away from home like that. Youre homeless yet you have a QR code for BTC, how can he even acces that of he dont have a device. It's not that I'm judging him, yeah i Know that sharing your blessings is the right thing to do, give them the proper way of help, not by giving them something that makes them dependent.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a criminal tool? on: March 18, 2018, 03:35:52 PM
In bitcoin's pyramid scheme, criminals have exploited the greed of people's ignorance and dreams of the currency. The essence of pyramid selling is a ponzi scheme, where a bitcoin is not fundamentally different from a tulip or a box of cosmetics.

In the event of an hacker blackmail, criminals use the anonymity of the currency, trying to escape legal sanction, COINS and cash here, there is no essential difference between just more convenient, lower cost.

In money laundering, drug trafficking, and terrorist crimes, criminals use the anonymity and high mobility of bitcoin to hide the flow of funds, which is the same as the effect of using cash.

It's the person who holds/uses Bitcoin make him a criminal, it depends on how you use it. We all have the decisions if we'll going to use it on bad things, or to use it for good. Proper usage and handlinh of bitcoin is what we need to stay in good track.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency kills people on: March 18, 2018, 02:56:23 PM
Ive read an article about Bill Gates saying that cryptocurrencies kills people. He explained that crypto provokes people to hide thier financial transactions from the government, and revolutionizing terrorism, financial crime etc. Some people use crypto to buy drugs, bombs, guns that are use for drug dealing and terrorism that kills people 'in a fairly direct way'

I think Gates is somehow right about this. But i think it depends on the people who are using cryptocurrency, if they will use it in a good way or in a bad way. What do you think?

It's not the Bitcoin kills people, it's the person who kill himself because of the improper use of bitcoin. Even with the real currency, it can kill you, using it the ways it's not supposed to be.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2018, 02:31:37 AM
Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/why-arent-there-more-women-in-bitcoin/?utm_source=Why

I think the reason why there's a lot of men involved in BTC and less women, it's because men are most likely sitting on their pc all day playing online games while making money using BTC. Of we can say that some women also do that kind of thing but there's only a few of them, most of them are wasting their time in social media.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: March 17, 2018, 11:59:21 AM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that

I've got nothing to say, I think this one is a crazy post, Ate you sure that you'll gonna do that? Sell your house to have enough money to invest in bitcoin? Well it's not bad to invest in bitcoin as long as you can afford to lose money if ever. But that is not a good idea. Not a goof advise for the other members in this forum.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining vs Buying on: March 17, 2018, 03:11:38 AM
Is it better to get BTC via mining or buying now?

It was no longer profitable early this year for mining. However, with the recent price surge, does mining becomes profitable now?

If yes, any suggestion? There are quite many cloud miner in the market.

Thanks.

Mining will cost you a lot, buying hardware, software, electric bill, and also consume your time watching your pc to mine. So I'd prefer buying bitcoin, and wait for the good price before selling it. it's a good idea to buy bitcoin right now while the price is still low, grab the chance.
147  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin required to pay taxes? on: March 16, 2018, 04:11:07 PM
Britain, Japan and so on are tax on Bitcoin, China's behavior such as Bitcoin transactions is not tax, which is why? What will happen?
If Bitcoin needs to pay taxes, what are the taxation links? Which taxes include?

Here in our country (Philippines) tax for bitcoin is not yet implemented, since many of our country men didn't take it seriously when it comes to bitcoin. Many still believes that bitcoin is just a scam, however I think maybe after few years, if they already have a knowledge with it, maybe thatd the time where taxes will enter.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 15, 2018, 02:06:17 AM
the more days the bitcoin price slumps down, how do you think, whether the price will stabilize or it will keep falling down ,, seems like I'm getting scared Angry
probably will fall, bitcoin is unlikely to return to its original place - when the price still pleased the eye

Do you think panicking will make the price of bitcoin goes up? Or the negativity can make the price of bitcoin will increase? That doesn't matter, even though you panick it will not affect the price, Bitcoin even face the worst price for the past few years, and look bitcoin is still there. And the price of bitcoin even went to it's peak last year where 1 bitcoin is worth $19000. So be patient don'tlet negativity eats you, be positive it only March, we still have 9 months to work and wait. Just be positive and patient.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens at your Altcoin Or Bitcoin Investment after Death? on: March 15, 2018, 01:49:19 AM
I want to know how your family or beneficiary receive your payouts after your death

I found this topic a little bit funny, well if you die soon and you haven't even share all those information, passwords, private keys to your family, then all of your hard work will become a piece of trash, no one can even cash that out. So if you want to know how your family can receive all your investment in crypto currency, then give them your passwords, username, and private keys.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Agrees with Me? on: March 11, 2018, 04:12:36 PM
Yes i agree, it always happen, just like last year when the price of bitcoin goes up to $19000, then as of this year it is only $9900, but it still depends on the people how they transfer their profir from Bitcoin to altcoin.

152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: March 11, 2018, 03:29:01 PM
Maybe it will kill the income tax as of now, since bitcoin is not common to public, and some other countries still haven't legalized bitcoin, that's the reason there still no tax for bitcoin, but if the government already take bitcoin as one of the currency or source of income, then that will be the time where tax will be implemented to us, to the people who uses Bitcoin.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: March 10, 2018, 03:36:08 PM
Well if KFC is already accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment, I will not be surprised if other food chains will also going to accept bitcoin. But that is not a practical for us, using bitcoin to buy foods? That's a big no for me. Why would I use Bitcoin to buy foods if I have a real money? The price of bitcoin can increase any time, so I still prefer to use a real money rather than bitcoin.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: March 10, 2018, 03:01:08 PM
Bitcoin is already a form of payment system however there are only fe businesses or establishments that accepts Bitcoin as a mode of payment. Since most of us See's Bitcoin as an investment or a source of income. And it is not a bubble like that will just disappear someday, Bitcoin already prove that it can survive no matter what crisis it take.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After 3 months, what do you have? on: March 09, 2018, 06:21:02 PM
Since I joined the crypto market. My gain is zero. I only have experiences and lessons. Does that have been called successful? Huh  Undecided

I joined this community last January and I used to post on different topics for me to be able to rank up, and as of now I'm currently joining a signature campaign Casper API. And I'm hoping this project will become successful. I'm hoping that I will earn a good income at the end of this project.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2018, 05:54:13 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

Barclays broke new ground this week by becoming the first bank to accept bitcoin. But don’t get too excited, the UK bank is only taking baby steps.Under a pilot scheme, people will only be allowed to use the crypto currency to make donations. The Wall Street Journal reports that Barclays is teaming up with bitcoin startup Safello to build a program that allows charities to accept bitcoin.

Barclays is keeping the details close to its chest for now, but this move is a big boon to bitcoin’s legitimacy. It also galvanizes Barclay's reputation as a fintech pioneer.

157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: March 07, 2018, 07:33:05 AM
I think that will happen, or the probability for that to happen is very very low, since bitcoin nowadays is fast growing industry in crypto world. Why would  people stop buying Bitcoin if they can earn money? Right? Bitcoin is a good source of income, you don't need to sweat to earn it. And also there are a lot of country and businesses that accepts Bitcoin as a payment, so what you're saying "if people stop buying Bitcoin" is very impossible to happen.  Smiley
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: March 06, 2018, 11:48:41 PM
It is a good idea to save Bitcoin for your children, it is for their future, since bitcoin nowadays is getting popular to each and everyone, its price will surely increase and investors will become more aggressive. Thinking that kind of plan is a good move for your children. The future of your children will surely had an assurance. Smiley
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as money on: March 05, 2018, 01:34:59 PM
Well actually that is the reason why bitcoin is created, it is created to become a virtual currency, to be used for daily purposes, however what happened right now is not what it is supposed to be. It became an investment for the wealthy people, for them to earn big profit. But maybe in the near future it'll be used as a currency for everyday use. Since there are a lot of projects that are coming up today, and technology is taking it's charge, technology is being part of our daily lives nowadays, so there is a high probability that our kids and grandkids will be one who will benefit it.  Smiley

Do you know that in the early years of Bitcoin more than 9 out of 10 financial experts in the world recognized it as an absolutely hopeless means of payment? However, for almost 10 years this cryptocurrency continues not only to improve constantly, but also to beat new records for its value. But if to think about it, what interesting things do we know about Bitcoin?

Bitcoin appeared in 2008 and its creator is Satoshi Nakamoto. Interestingly that it is still unknown who is this person, or a group of mysterious experts. The most likely version is that the creator of this cryptocurrency is an American of Japanese origin whose name is Dorian Nakamoto, but actually this option has not received reliable evidence.

As you know, the maximum number of Bitcoins is limited to 21 million coins. For today more than half of this number has been produced - the algorithm for the extraction is becoming more and more complex and reduces the total number of created coins every few years. It is believed that the last Bitcoin will be mined only in 2140.

....
And maybe you can add to these facts something interesting? Waiting for your stories in the comments!
