Tottenham was a bit off form. But against Newcastle, they would be beaten so badly that it was a completely unexpected result. I wouldn't say that Tottenham's defense is too weak. However, they conceded 6 goals in this match. Newcastle moved ahead of Tottenham by 6 points with a win in this match. And now it has become almost impossible for Tottenham to qualify for the Champions League.

Since Manchester United have been relegated from the Europa League, their only aim now is to perform well in the Premier League. Manchester United team is expected to be able to stay in the top four of the points table. Ten Hag has been able to strengthen this team.
This will be a tough match for Tottenham and Man United. Even though Tottenham will be playing at home, that doesn't mean they will be able to get good results because their performance has regressed. 2 consecutive defeats against Newcastle and Bournemouth will at least affect their confidence. While Man United, though they have a better performance than Tottenham, the tight schedule they have been through certainly drains their stamina. So most likely they won't be in their best shape, especially since Varane and Martinez still haven't played.
The problem of the previous big defeat to Newcaste more or less made their mentality drop I think but on the other hand this is also an important match, especially now they have to think about if they lose points again then the competition for them will end especially next week after Manchestr United there is Liverpool who are ready to meet with Tottenham.

On the other hand, there is currently news that Tottenham also sacked Cristian Stellini who was their interim coach and was replaced with another interim coach due to their worsening performance.

This is really good for Marseille because there isn't much time left for a Lens v Marseille match in the league. This is going to be a really important match for both sides considering their chance of qualifying for the Champions League group stage. Lens defeated them in their previous rendezvous away by 1-0 hence Marseille had better prepare in a stronger way this time.
An important victory for Marseille in this match, apart from them finally being able to win again, this also made their position which had previously been stolen by Lens now return to their hands.
The match was quite exciting indeed the two clubs showed in the match this time but Lyon's concentration was interrupted when there was a failed sweep which actually made them have to be willing to lose points at home.

Villarreal had a much bigger xG in this match honestly but still Sevilla defeated them by 2-1 at the end. I was like that was it and the final score was going to be 1-1. But En Nesyri literally saved his team in the final moments of the stoppage time by scoring the winner. That was a really dramatic moment for Sevilla of course and they won against a much better team this season at the same time.

Sevilla weren't even close to balancing ball possession rates in any half. But they still had many goal attempts. It was like they changed the goal attempt statistics in the second half as there were big similarities. Anyway this win carried Sevilla to a safer position in the standings and they must be relieved more now.

Their performance in the Europa League new must have been very influential about this improvement too.
They were a little troubled by Sevilla's quick counterattack which made them even control the game and the midfield in possession, but this didn't get them any points.
Goals in the last minute hurt in this game and they have lost 1 point in this game.

Haaland is a player who can make a difference for City, who play great football. Real Madrid may play a little less attractive football, but is very fast and good from the counter. As Benzema has decided games for Real Madrid last season, Haaland could very well do the same for City in this edition. But maybe City is so good at the moment that they just get a round further with normal goals. After all, the sadness of the lost final against Chelsea must be put away.
Doing quick counter-attacks with some really fast young players like Valverde and Vini who are currently in good condition I think that's very good for Madrid because surely Manchester City will try to contain it with KDB-driven passes in their midfield.
At the moment, apart from Benzema, Rodrygo and Asensio, you also have to watch out if Manchester City really wants something more in the first leg later.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 23, 2023, 09:19:56 AM
I can't find a coherent reason why you say Manchester City don't deserve to win the Champions League title they have wanted for so long? If you're just saying Real Madrid deserved it because they missed a title chance in La Liga, then that's nonsense that doesn't matter much to say. Look how favorite Napoli are to reach the final this season after they almost certainly secured the Serie A title, but Napoli had to accept their failure.

I just can't understand why someone could say something so easily without putting in some effort to come up with a good reason. It's always good to come up with plausible reasons when you want one to be appropriate and one not.
Even Manchester City was one of the favorites to win the title from the start, plus their excellent performances from season to season. So by looking at it like that, I would say Manchester City deserved to get the title and be champions for the first time. Saying that Manchester City deserves to be champions does not mean that Real Madrid's position is not worth it, even with the 14-time title that Real Madrid has won, it is enough to say about their quality. A very interesting competition is still going on in the Champions League, I can't wait for the semi-finals.
It is true that Real Madrid is the most dominating team in the Champions League, especially in terms of the title race. But I don't think that makes people underestimate Manchester City without proper analysis and reasons. Manchester City has proven its performance and statistics in the Champions League, the same has been proven by Real Madrid this season.

Manchester City is better team than Liverpool and Chelsea who are actually representatives of the Premier League in the Champions League. The performance of the two teams above is not very good in the Premier League, while Manchester City is a team that is more likely to still be able to win the title this season. So the Real Madrid vs Manchester City match should be very interesting to look forward to. Madrid could potentially fall short in the semi-finals, but if they qualify then Madrid are title winners.
Actually in terms of domination, Manchester City is quite good in terms of domination, especially with how they are very good in the group phase and of course they are still said to be balanced in terms of domination.
In terms of the condition of the actual players, Manchester City can also be said to be balanced and even slightly better in my opinion, but in terms of experience for the Champions League, Madrid is in control.
This could be a revenge match for Manchester City, especially when they had to lose last season, but on the other hand, it could also be their fate, like Chelsea and Liverpool, who always failed when they met Madrid.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 22, 2023, 10:33:15 PM

Lens had a hard game recently against PSG and they were unlucky during that game in which they could decrease the gap between themselves and PSG and increase their chance to be the first team in the table while they are going to have another hard game in a few minutes and in they lose this game against Monaco they may even lose their place on the third position of the table.
Their condition by losing players in the first 20 minutes slightly affected the result for Lens against PSG. But in today's match against Monaco with a complete set of players they really showed their true selves.

The score was quite striking in this match and of course this made them take back the position where Marseille, who currently haven't played.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 22, 2023, 09:32:00 PM
Sampdoria vs Spezia, first half Sampdoria managed to win 1-0 from Amione's goal. the match was quite balanced even though Sampdoria still lost in possession. Spezia is better in possession but they don't have a good strategy to set up an attack.
Sampdoria who are at the bottom of the standings put on a good game in the first half. if the final result does not change, it will not affect the standings. but the situation will leave Spezia vulnerable enough to fall into the relegation zone.
The match ended in a draw in this match.
Spezia's second half completely reversed the conditions where they were in control to get points in this match.
The two teams actually have the same condition where they are lacking in finishing but by sharing 1 point in this match, this is clearly something good for Spezia even though her position is currently threatened.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 21, 2023, 11:42:27 PM
Lazio are still an unstoppable team in the league with a long-running impressive form. They are still unbeaten for so many weeks and I think they are about to add another victory to their winning streak of four games as well. They have a home game against Torino and they are highly favoured of course. But Lazio's odd is still higher than my expectation which is interesting on one hand.

Immobile's absence is bad for them maybe but still they are way stronger than Torino now. I think their current odd is just a good opportunity to take advantage of now.
Lazio's performance for Serie A is really very good and with the current conditions the Champions League zone is definitely in their hands, especially with the difference in points which is quite large at the moment.
Win after win they continue to record for Serie A even if we look back at their statistics, Lazio lost last time in February against Atalanta and since then, they still haven't conceded a defeat yet.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 21, 2023, 10:44:48 PM
I think PSG were only desperate to win the Champions league which they got knocked out the group stages but coming to their league in France they have dominated for a long time and they are Strong favourite too even after dropping few points due to some poor performance they had in some matches. Two goals and a comfortable win in the first half isn't a surprise considering the team they are playing against which is already in the relegation after this season so it's a good result for PSG and a more way to extend their gap to almost 15poibts. For the Angers team, them relegation is 100% sure cause they can't escape it again, good goals for Mbappe and a wonderful assist by Messi.
Ignore PSG's chances in the Champions League as long as they don't have the squad depth that few other teams have won the title. This season they have been sorely lacking in squad depth despite having Messi, Mbappe and Neymar in their squad. But their defense and midfield are too weak to play well.

Regarding today's match, PSG is the absolute winner over the opponent Angers. PSG have been 2 goals up since the first half, but it is still possible for them to score another 1-2 goals during the second half. Mbappe scored 2 goals, I hope Real Madrid still wants to bring him to the Bernabeu next season.

On the other hand, I still feel that they are too comfortable when talking about Ligue 1 with their current squad so that when talking about bigger competition, they become very difficult and this is no longer a public secret even now.
As you say, they don't lack big players for their squad but still that doesn't make them any better for now in the big competition.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 21, 2023, 08:57:19 PM
Oh damn it's very intense!
3-3 now.
What is this Cheesy Arsenal are late to get up but there is still a chance in extra time but this clearly still does not secure their position if it is still a draw because of course Manchester City can still overtake with 2 remaining matches.
But Arsenal still do not want to give up as it seems that there is little time left now.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 20, 2023, 10:42:12 PM
There is another important match for the Champions League tickets on this match week: Lens - Monaco.

Lens are the favourite when we look at the odds given to the match. But their odd continues to increase while Monaco's is going the opposite way. Actually Monaco are lacking Embolo for this match who scored 12 goals in the Ligue 1 so far. This should be making things more difficult for Monaco in the attacking side as he is their biggest scoring power. Besides I remember how their latest match against each other finished also. Lens completely destroyed them by 4-1 away. I don't think Lens would lose here too.
This will be interesting indeed. Lens are definitely favorites but they are missing a midfielder who received a red card in the previous match. On the other hand, currently Monaco is still in a pretty good condition.
But the condition of them playing as home is clearly another consideration in this competition because of course with them playing at home this will make them more comfortable.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 20, 2023, 10:27:01 PM
Well that can't be done anymore now for Napoli because they can only do something very good for Serie A only, as for the Champions League even though their performance is actually still very worthy but obviously they are eliminated quite painfully now, even so they also played very well this season for the Champions League, it's just that luck is not always on their side.
In general, Napoli have also tried to look better in the UCL this season, even though luck has not been on Napoli's side this season in the UCL, but Napoli still has one trophy that they are likely to get this season, namely the Serie A trophy. And now Napoli is only need to focus more on Serie A for the rest of the season because Napoli's appearance this season has been extraordinary even though they had to be eliminated in the UCL
Now that only Serie A is left, that is good for them this season because this also shows that their quality has improved this season.

Anyway, now Juventus is moving to 3rd position because they got the 15 points they lost before.
This is becoming interesting and I am quite worried about our 2 semi-finalists this time in the Champions League because with Juventus now, indirectly their level has shifted and now they are in a less favorable condition.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 20, 2023, 09:22:25 PM
It looks like Manchester City will claim the Premier League title this season as they are currently the top favorites. This is because of their experience and having exceptional squad quality, their impressive head-to-head record against their closest rivals. From the start of the season Arsenal has maintained it's top position at the Premier League. But, their upcoming match against City will be their most challenging one. And the outcome of this match may ultimately determine who lift up the league title. So far this Premier League season has been a thrilling one, and everything hanging until the very end.
Now their condition is still possible for that especially with their condition which always puts strong pressure on Arsenal, this is obviously a little troublesome for Arsenal and Manchester City have a chance to be champions again if Arsenal cannot accept too much pressure.
The condition will probably be seen when they will play in the 33rd round later because if Arsenal lose they will obviously have to give up the trophy and on the other hand if Manchester City lose then their chances will definitely decrease.
Arsenal's failure to gain full points in the match against West Ham has indeed provided a great opportunity for Man City to win the title again this season. And yes, the Man City vs Arsenal match will be the initial determination of who deserves to win the title this season. Currently Arsenal's point difference with Man City is 4 points. but because Man City has 1 match postponed, we can say that the difference is only 1 point. so that if Arsenal lose the match against Man City then in an instant Man City will replace them at the top of the standings.

Dnn that's very unfortunate. because Arsenal have stood at the top since the start of the season but they have to give up the top ranking at the end of the season. and it must be very painful when it happens.
When this happens, there is indeed a mentality that is still a little shaky for Arsenal because of their performance indirectly when they gave up their position towards the end of the season just as they failed mentally when Manchester City put a lot of pressure on them throughout the season, especially at the end of the season .
Even if the second position for Arsenal is an improvement but still giving up the title to Manchester City would be painful for them.

I am struggling to agree with you. The performance was superb up until a certain point and that was the break for the national teams. After that Osimhen was injured for three weeks I believe and they had problems to find back their former strength. I would say it was a very good season, but in the end it is the Serie A title despite bigger dreams that were definitely justified. When you are in a shape like Napoli and you are up against AC Milan and you can advance to the champions league semifinal, I think then it would have been a superb season. They wouldn't necessarily have to win the title, but the semifinal was so well deserved that I think there is now also a lot of disappointment.
Well that can't be done anymore now for Napoli because they can only do something very good for Serie A only, as for the Champions League even though their performance is actually still very worthy but obviously they are eliminated quite painfully now, even so they also played very well this season for the Champions League, it's just that luck is not always on their side.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 19, 2023, 02:32:43 PM

yes, I also think they decided to handle things this way
after all, Barcelona was too aggressive with La Liga
no use wasting resources
in fact I respect Carlo Ancelotti a lot, he is a very intelligent and pragmatic coach
This is what really happened, Barcelona's current condition is too far that as long as they are in the top 3 positions then that is good enough, of course their focus is still on the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
Now they are still in real performance even if there are conditions that are not good but they are still quite stable so of course in order to take care of the players it is better to focus on the most important things.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 18, 2023, 10:58:31 PM
It was still near impossible for Real Madrid to catch up with Barcelona I think. Because Barcelona just didn't want to make the usual effort in the latest matches as they were already very comfortable in the league. If Real Madrid were even able to benefit from those chances I don't think Barcelona would have continued to play in the same way later on. I mean Barcelona would have sensed the threat and improved their performance to a high level once again. They wouldn't like to lose this title easily.

This weekend there is going to be a match in Camp Nou between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid by the way. Barcelona are obviously favourite but let's see if they will care about the match that much. Because the gap with Real Madrid is still too big now. I wouldn't bet on Barcelona in this situation.
I don't know what is happening with Barcelona but they are clearly not in the good form now. So, it is very possible they continue to miss points, especially in big matches. The point gap is quite far, in theory Real Madrid is almost impossible to catch Barcelona. However, if Barcelona continues to miss points, Real Madrid may have a chance to return to 1st place. It is surely a small chance, but it is not 100% impossible.

The next match is a tight match, they will play against Atletico Madrid. Barcelona is the favorite team to win, but Atletico is in a good form now. They always wins all the last 5 matches. So, it is not impossible if Atletico steals 3 points at Barcelona home (Camp Nou).

Their condition is a little outside of the actual predictions but indeed this is also a bit natural because some of their core players have not been in the squad for the last few matches.
The loss of Raphinha and Dembele clearly bothered me a bit, apart from that the conditions in which the absence of Pedri and De Jong also became a bit of a gap that they had not been able to cover which made it a bit difficult for Lewandowski to score goals.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 18, 2023, 09:54:36 PM
Inter Milan was very disappointed in that game,Inter Milan have played and experience 5 matches with negative results, of which 4 matches were lost and 1 match ended in a draw. Inter Milan have had problems in their line of attack since this season has just started. they are good at making chances but they are problem at finishing it. The worst attack, always struggles in front of goal. Inter Milan struggle or find a to win the but Monza pressure was too much for them to withstand, Monza scored in seventy eight minutes and maintain the one that they see in match, and lead Inter Milan with 1:0
The conditions are not very good for them in the domestic league but it is possible for this week even though they lost quite painfully because their conditions and opportunities were very good but maybe indeed their focus is for tomorrow because remembering some players are also a little bit not too forced here because the second leg of the Champions Legaue is in sight.
But of course that's not an excuse because their current condition is still not comfortable if they really target themselves to be in the top 4.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 18, 2023, 08:37:26 PM
It's nothing new if Liverpool win with a big score, because last season Liverpool also managed to beat Leeds with a score of 6-0 so that Liverpool's victory with a score of 6-1 in last night's match still doesn't change anything. Because in reality Liverpool will still be difficult to finish in the top five.

Also, for me the big win that Liverpool won is still not impressive, because usually Liverpool get bad results for the next match. At least this remains a consideration because previously Liverpool also experienced this. So yeah, hopefully Liverpool won't get too carried away with the big win they got, because if Liverpool get too carried away then they will get bad results in the next match.
This victory should make them a little more confident but returning to Liverpool's current condition, they are indeed very difficult to do that especially with their conditions which are not too predictable and conditions are uncertain so this victory is a little difficult to believe that they were better if Look at the current match statistics.
Not to mention talking about Europa League and Champions League targets it's clear this is getting complicated for them.

lukaku future is uncertain, Inter don't want to make him stay there longer besides that Chelsea also don't want to receive lukaku back, Chelsea emphatically said they prefer to join the hunt for Vlahovic than receive lukaku back
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11980529/Romelu-Lukaku-return-Chelsea-AGAINST-end-season.html
His condition, which is getting worse and worse, makes uncertainty for his future at this time.
Chelsea obviously don't really expect him to come back because indeed Chelsea's hope is the money that will be received by releasing Inter, as well as for Inter at this time.
I think the worst possibility is that if Inter returns Lukaku then it seems he will only go straight to the sales list.
