141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: June 04, 2019, 07:19:18 AM
I pay for my monthly satellite TV subscription with a bank transfer and for some obscure reason I forgot to pay it this month. I was still watching the World cup Cricket tournament, when a message popped up, saying that my account was in the arrears and they blocked my viewing.

I immediately logged into my internet Banking and checked my payment history and realized that I skipped that payment for some reason, so I made the payment and thought I would wait for a hour or two and then resume viewing. Noooot!

8 HOURS passed, I phoned the company and they informed me that the payment is not reflected on their system yet, so I waited another 4 hours and phoned them again. <still Nothing>

A whole 21 hours later the payment went through and I could continue viewing, but the match I wanted to see was finished.  Angry

If I paid with Bitcoin, this same payment would have taken less than 20 minutes at most, but unfortunately this Satelite provider does not accept Bitcoin payment for this service.  Angry

Well, to be honest I also hate bank because of its centralization system, they have a lot of requirements request to their client before withdrawing the balance of the users. Then once you didn't comply it, you can't able to get it. Where in Bitcoin was reversible since were the one who manage our own coin to convert it into fiat, the transaction was not slow or delay instead its fast rather than bank anyway.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold and USD? on: June 04, 2019, 07:11:40 AM
I do not think Bitcoin is better than Gold and USD. Yes, Bitcoin is the most expensive and influential cryptocurrency of this period. Bitcoin preference is more than all the other crypto currency. Bitcoin acceptability is very high and it is increasing day by day. But it is better not to compare gold or USD with bitcoin. I saw many posts where Bitcoin is better than gold and USD. My point is that Bitcoin is the crypto currency, on the other hand, gold is one of the natural resources and USD is the real currency. So how is Bitcoin compared with gold or USD and is called Bitcoin gold and better than USD? Where Bitcoin Gold and USD are used in various different things and in different fields. Give your opinion.

Well, literally to be honest it is indeed better than gold and USD$. Probably, because of volatility of Bitcoin, though the reference value of Bitcoin was based on USD, but Bitcoin for me is not competing it anyway any form of business in online too. Although, if you are going to look at it literally, it has a similarity of ponzi scheme but the truth was not really actually.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Is Not? on: June 04, 2019, 07:01:07 AM
As Bitcoin is once again at the $8,000+ level, there is a raging excitement and a big buzz in the marketplace on the King of Crypto. People are asking if this can be the start of the big bull run -- the big one to push Bitcoin beyond the $20,000 zone almost achieved in 2017.

With all the hypes and speculations surrounding Bitcoin, here are some bitcoin FACTS and why bitcoin enthusiast like myself love it, trust it, and just could not wait of what can be...

1. Bitcoin is money
2. Bitcoin is an asset
3. Bitcoin is a commodity
4. Bitcoin is a utility
5. Bitcoin is more valuable than gold and USD.
6. Bitcoin is the cheapest way to transfer money
7. Bitcoin is on it's way to being the world currency
8. Bitcoin provides solutions for people worldwide without bank accounts, who can't get bank accounts, or don't have access to banks in their region.
9. Bitcoin can be traded.
10. Bitcoin has IRA's, Futures, Mutual Funds, Credit, Loans
11. Bitcoin has a limited supply of only 21 million giving it serious value whereas 17,674,400 has already been mined.
12. Bitcoin has to be mined, the source of all bitcoin, and will go on for the next 120 years to 2140.
13. Bitcoin is the FIRST and leader of all the 2116 cryptocurrencies on the market as of 4/30/19 dominating at 54.6% of the market cap of $172.6 billion!
14. Bitcoin is accepted worldwide at hundreds of thousands of retailers to pay for goods and services from coffee and pizza to paying taxes, luxury vacations, cars, homes, boats, and more!
15. Bitcoin is predicted to be worth $100,000 per coin within the next 3 years and $250,000 within the next 5 years.

Now, among this list, which do you think is not true or will not come true?

To think which is not the function of Bitcoin was this " Bitcoin is the cheapest way to transfer money "
It is because bitcoin actually here in my country every time I made a transaction it cost high deduction on my withdrawal amount.
I just don't know to other country if they have the same situation of mine.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Investment Strategy - Bitcoin, Tronx, Kin on: June 03, 2019, 10:27:18 PM
If you want to earn 10x or more of your capital I suggest you to buy now XBX on Idax because it dumped its price in the market or you could also try to buy UTK too on Kucoin, or ATF in IDEx, these are the coins on which I think is good and could give a huge profit in the future, though I respect your choice.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: June 03, 2019, 10:18:15 PM
That's the first thing We must do always, this most of the time were bounty hunters or investors never do this methods.
And in every business that We like to invest research is the best tools for this matter anyway. Then, if the explanation in new project
is very innovative and has a unique style of the project, that's sounds may seems good and interesting especially if the usages of the utility token
is also realistic and attainable.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: June 03, 2019, 10:09:24 PM
Do many people around you claim that bitcoin is bad? yes this happened around my place.
I don't care what they say, even though I haven't been here long, but I'm sure bitcoin isn't as bad as they think, this is a future technology where when the future comes, we are ahead and they are still behind  Cool. I am sure of that!

They are lot of them actually saying that bitcoin is not good, it is scam according to them mate. We cannot handle or control what their thinking. Maybe this is the nature of a human being. But as a normal person, we shouldn't be like this, isn't right? They've been thinking a lot of negative feedback about in bitcoin but the truth is not, it is only begun with the mind of individuals.
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: June 03, 2019, 10:01:08 PM
It is easy to get stucked in this trap when you read a particular economic news and tell yourself that it seems likely to make the market go in a certain direction. Once you convinced yourself that what you expect to happen is basically you digging for your account. In the early years of trading, many traders were stuck in the trap of trading in news and focused too much on fundamental analysis.
Trying to find out what the market is going to act next after the major economic reports are published appears to be obvious and useful to a trader at the time. However, you may be surprised to learn that the trader focuses too much on news that is losing money as prices tend to move in the opposite direction from what the news reflects.

News about in crypto was just a guidelines, but don't get believe too much in it. Perhaps, average is belief 50% only not 100% because not all news are purely 100% true of course before they publish it, they will edit first before their scoop be expose. Your priority belief in trading must always be base in your actual trading platform.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: June 03, 2019, 09:53:49 PM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?

Day trading is really profitable, and it is very effective whether you are using it for Forex and Bitcoin/crypto trading.
But you should full of knowledge and well verse on this things anyway. Because it maybe profitable but can also put your
capital in danger if you will be neglectful were it can lead you into a situation to be wreck as well.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money in this bear market? on: June 03, 2019, 09:46:09 PM
Most of us that come into cryptocurrencies trading have this in mind that when bitcoin is in bearish trend we are loosing money and that is why we are seeing thread of loses in this bearish market.  Few know that you can trade usd/bitcoin and make money in this bearish trend all you just need to do is change your analysis from what you are used to to what is happening now and you will make money.

Bear market was almost done actually now dude. And what I knew about what happened into bear season was that many of the community investors loss their coins and didn't recover their loss, but no worries due to bull run is now happening at the moment and its more kicking its price value in the market.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be safe on: May 30, 2019, 11:36:27 AM
Hello,
Lately, bitcoin is bumping hugely. It has increase huge before last couple of weeks. With the rise of BTC, many more scam projects will be arisen. Be aware before investing your precious money. Don't fall in any kind of hacking trap. Think twice before clicking any link.
Most of the altcoin project will be pumped seriously by a group of people. Don't buy any coin without any proper investigation.

Be safe.
Happy trading.

Well in this form of business, scammer is everywhere, because there is an investors were for them they have a prospect victim target.
However, as an investors let us be wise and be careful in buying coins in this business industry in crypto. So that in the end, our capital
won't turn into nothing.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Right Now: Will Do A Bull Run Too? on: May 30, 2019, 11:17:16 AM
Ethereum so far in the market was also giving a good performance in the market, it is actually 284$ so far according to coinmarketcap.
Ethereum ever since didn't disappoint their community who believed to them. Just like what I always read here that ETH will always next into bitcoin, well it is always happened.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not money on: May 29, 2019, 04:02:16 AM
Bitcoin is not money.

It is more an artwork with 21,000,000 limited editions. And each limited edition contains 100,000,000 limited pieces. (satoshis)

Honestly, literally and physically Bitcoin is not a real money,  if you are going to compare it into fiat currency.
but in terms of digital currency assets, for me it is money. Why? Do you know how much each bitcoin now? according to
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ it is 8661$ each bitcoin, and it can be up or down in an hour due to its volatility.
Also, if bitcoin is not a money for sure bitcoin won't stand for 1 decade and no value now in the market and it is not exist
anymore. But that's not what happened so far, instead many whale investors and big companies adopted it and embraced the
potentiality and uniqueness of bitcoin.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is simply too difficult to buy to gain acceptance on: May 29, 2019, 03:53:40 AM
KYC is a very delicate issue, a lot of bitcoin enthusiasts are against the idea of revealing their personal identity when this is a decentralized protocol, and also the threat of misuse and sale of data.

Btc is supposed to be anonymous and easy but it is neither.

It's supposed to be a lot of other things as well which it is; it is transparent and borderless. It's also irreversible, preventing double spending.
Global adoption would make it easier to own bitcoins without buying them, if it becomes accepted as a currency and means of exchange.

Yes, majority of the community of bitcoin they really hate KYC. But in the end even most people don't want that rules, they are oblige to submit their KYC just for the sake of profit. Its part of the policy and regulations. Though, bitcoin was based decentralized system. And for the novice it is actually not easy to understand it.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: May 28, 2019, 09:23:29 AM
Hey guys, I'm new to the whole ICO world, and BTCtalk as well. I've been reading about a lot of scammy ICOs that take people's money and run away. I'm looking to invest in a couple of ICOs but have no way of knowing if they are good or not. Can anyone tell me how I can go about doing this without losing any money?

First you need to check the whitepaper they have if it is original then their team behind must also true and not fake. See if the usages of their token is attainable and realistic for the community target of the project, then look at the allocation budget for the bounty, if they have an escrow it is an advantage but not necessary needed, however, having a good reputation of the bounty manager is also a advantage too. And most of all they must trustworthy.

156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRX will pump, and I have reasons on: May 28, 2019, 09:03:57 AM
Here's my reasons:
Justin Sun knows well about marketing, he promotes trx everywhere he can.
He has a good relationship with Binance, when trx launched in Binance ,it went 100x.
And when Binance got 7000 BTC stolen, Justion show strong support.
Now Binance has shown margin on its website, and Justion posted twitter that big event on NO.1 June.
I connect the two things together ,TRX will pump

Your announcement was obviously in favored to all Trx holders, though I can't deny that trx has a strong community who supported this token and most of the exchange Trx was always listed actually. Besides, all crypto/altcoins has a chance to pump their token too, We just don't know when does things would possibly happen, right?
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: May 28, 2019, 08:56:12 AM
I think ico right is getting recovering little by little, this was started a couple of days ago, when I found that bull run was happening in the market, and as you can see the price of Bitcoin at the moment was 8708$. This was I have observed honestly speaking, so the rumors its not true that ico is dead.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts to invest. on: May 28, 2019, 08:45:37 AM
Hey, what do you think of these alts? Would like to get the community's opinions.

In order of most favored:

NEO: (Personal Fav). Huge Chinese Crypto industry. Working with the government. Smart Contracts. Also GAS!
ETH: 2nd Market cap. First at smart contracts. Reliable. But they are falling behind hence second.
XRP: Riding the hype. Big company. Well organized. Centralized

Any other ones you would recommend (Preferably about 20 top market cap) ?

It is good to buy alts that always listed on top 10 in the market, and most of the time those altcoins are Ethereum, Neo, Bch, Xrp, Bnb, Kcs,
Qtum, Xlm, Trx, Eos, and Ltc these are for me are good to invest in and would give us a good profit in the future.
