1401  Economy / Service Discussion / Localbitcoin trading app on: November 05, 2017, 12:55:07 AM
Hey there!
Can anyone please advice me a legit localbitcoins android trading app? Just need it to make BTC / cash exchange faster and safer. It seems like they don't have any official application and the Play Market is not a trustworthy place. They already had a huge amounts of fake phishing apps (including localbitcoins apps) so I just want to be sure that I'm using a good app. Also I will appreciate if you advice me like 2-3 of such apps because not all of them are available in different regions.
Thanks.
1402  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PLEASE HELP! BTC payment to Neteller declined but money never returned on: November 05, 2017, 12:38:23 AM
I'm just curious. If they need up to 3 days to add funds to neteller acc then on what rates are they doing it? If you are sending 1 BTC to your account then for 3 days the difference between rates can be worth hundreds of USD in usual time and up to thouands of USD during different pumps (like we had some days ago).
P.S. OP, please post here an update when the situation will be resolved.
1403  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are these Bitcoin cards tied to Visa? on: November 04, 2017, 01:23:52 PM
Just notify that there already was a several projects offering their crypo cards. Some of them are having the problems with Visa (or MasterCard, whatever they use) so using such cards might not be that safe as it supposed to be. Also they normaly have some restrictions based on your country and they usualy dont work with local currencies (or they do but the fee is pretty big).
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever reach or surpass Bitcoins market cap? on: November 03, 2017, 07:37:57 AM
If you are just comparing a market cap then it seems like the market cap of all altcoins may reach the BTC market cap in some years, especially if there will be some new usefull altcoins. But bitcoin will still be "the mother of all cryptos" and I don't think that any single alt will ever compete with BTC.

market cap manipulation is just a fun math game, nothing more. that is why every economic expert considers market capitalization a bullshit factor for cryptocurrencies.
Exactly. Right after BCH fork I remember some articles in top magazines saying that global cryptocurrency market cap was increased by a huge amount of money in a single moment despite only a few amount of BCH was even claimed.
1405  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NakamotoX - New Bitcoin exchange on: November 03, 2017, 07:27:10 AM
The platform looks pretty good: everything is clear and simple. What about verification? Will I have to provide any personal data for yousing your platform  (or to get any extra features, whatever)? With the usual customer support respond speed any kind of verifications (or even a common tickets) are becoming a real plague of major exchanges.
1406  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trade paypal to bitcoin on: November 03, 2017, 06:34:40 AM
As it was already mentioned PayPal is reversible so such transactions are a bit more risky and usualy it leads to increased fees. I would recommend you to trade paypal for btc only with other users (for example on this forum or in localbitcoins) and avoid any kinds of automated services. There is a high chance of getting scammed and also PayPal do not support cryptos and usually lock all accounts thatinvolved in that kind of staff with different services.
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Futures- The Bank Attack on the Crypto-Market on: November 03, 2017, 06:22:30 AM
I don't realy think that it will have a strong influence on bitcoin. I see to musch risk in BTC futures trading and I don't belive that it will be popular. I can hardly see traditional investors buying this type of futures just because BTC is too unpredictable for them. In general the bitcoin futures look more like a new type of gambling rather than an investment and I wouldn't expect any large flow of capital.
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Panic selling vs Panic buying on: November 03, 2017, 06:09:06 AM
Hey there!
A question of panic selling was already discussed on this forum a billion times. But whats bad here? If you are sure that the price will grow back then you can just buy some BTC in better rates. The more dangerous will be the situation when someone is buying BTC while being afraid of loosing some profits despite the fact that pump has already happened (I'm calling it a panic buying). Thats seems like a straight way to lose money and make a bubble.
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin storms past $7,200 to set yet another new all-time record on: November 02, 2017, 04:04:02 PM
It is expected to reach 10k$ by the end of this year. So crossing 7k+$ isn't surprising  for me. Hope we get to see btc pass 10K$ by the end of this year.
Naaah, It won't get that high. We have only 2 month till the end of the year and even if you start at 7k it will be a pretty long run to get to 10k. It will need some time with several corrections (ofcourse if one of those corrections won't blow the current bubble). If bitcoin will make a 3k rush in just 2 month then the correction will be painfull AF.
1410  Economy / Speculation / Re: Drug Money and the Rise and Rise of Bitcoin on: November 02, 2017, 03:52:50 PM
The movie is cool but it is pretty far from the current situation. Nowadays every major BTC operation would be notified by the government, you still can't buy anything for bitcoins (ofc you can but if you have a huge amount in BTC then you won't find a good usage for it) and you cant exchange big amounts of BTC. You gona have the same situation as a guy in a movie but you won't have to hide your money.
Also I don't think that cartells are causing this pump simply because they are not that stupid and they should have their own financial specialists. Right now bitcoin in in the bubble and it won't be a smart move to buy big amounts of BTC on the top of the bubble.
1411  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 03:35:31 PM
Well amazon is placing itself on the market as an innovative company. They already invested huge money to drones and they were going to take part in Saudi Arabia desert megacity cunstruction. I think that in a couple years that will seem strange if they won't be accepting cryptocurrencies while performing such policy. But we shouldn't underestimate the power of US esablishement and central banks, they can always make some troubles.
1412  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: DoubleVPN.com - qualitative VPN Service for serious and successful people! on: November 02, 2017, 12:58:48 AM
Sup guys!
Are you offering any money back guarantees? I might need a VPN for specific gaming needs (or just check if I will have any lags with multy double package) and not all services are working properly.
Are you including the dedicated IP to your standart package? The normal price is kinda too high but if dedicated IP is included then it might worth it.
1413  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: American Bitcoin Academy on: November 02, 2017, 12:50:26 AM
So, a friend sent me a video on "The American Bitcoin Academy".

Apparently this is some program advertising that they'll teach you how to trade Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still pretty new and even pro investors usually can't estimate the growth of BTC. I dont think that you will be able to find such experienced trader that could hare his experience. In most cases they just got benefit because of their luck. It is like calling early adopters a pro investors (while they haven't done anything) and asking them to establish an academy.
1414  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price point do you think BTC will become more stable? on: November 02, 2017, 12:36:00 AM
It seems like the question of stability of bitcoin is not about its price. It will be more stable when it will be replace the fiat money in common life. But anyway untill it is competing with fiat i would expect at least 1-2$k annual changes of the BTC rate. To make it more suitable for everyday operations such changes shouldn't take the significant % of BTC price. For example +- 1000$ while 1 BTC is worth 100 000$ will only influence 1% of your money so you will have less risks while using BTC.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missing a massive run on: November 02, 2017, 12:23:07 AM
Imho this run is not that massive. I belive that we should expect a BTC correction pretty soon so the price will come back and we will also see a strong correction after the ICO bubble will dump cryptos in the next year. So you can just try to wait for another run.
Btw I know a  guy that refused to buy BTC for 2100 usd before the august fork so don't blame yourself, there is always someone who lost more opportunities Smiley
1416  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 02, 2017, 12:15:01 AM
Just remember yourself when you have never heared  abou cryptocurrencies and everything like that is new, unknown and definetely sounds like a scam. To become an early investor you had to do one of 2 things:
1. Buy some amount of BTC for your own money. Will you spend (waste) at least 50$ now for nothing?
2. Mine some bitcoins slowly killing your PC. And destroing your computer for nothing even now seems pretty unfair.
The guys who took a risk and did it now got their benefit. Everything seems legit.
1417  Economy / Trading Discussion / A question about Tether on: November 02, 2017, 12:00:27 AM
Hey guys!
Right now I'm looking on USDT (Tether) chart. On their website devs say that it is always 1-to-1 backed to traditional currency (in this case USD) so I should see a straight line on their chart but if you take a look on the graphic you will see that in may it was about 92 cents for 1 USDT. Can anyone tell me what happened on that time? I did not followed it in may.  The changes are not serious but I just want to be sure that there is nothing to warry about.

1419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you agree with Warren Buffett's Thoughts on Bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 07:30:31 PM
The Warren Buffett's investing style is base on buying an underpriced asset and selling it later on the normal price. Like buying a dollar for 80 cents and selling later for 100. It is true that right now bitcoin is overpriced and there is nothing special that such a major investor dodn't find it attractive.
Basicaly BTC now is more about speculation than investments.
1420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Betting on the price falling on: October 31, 2017, 12:25:55 PM
Bitcoin is reaching new heights now and since the fork is near there are no chances now that the price will see a decline.
After the fork there are good chances for a correction in price and I must say that the correction should happen since BTC has raised too high in a very short time which gives it risk to fall harder. If a correction of price takes place then BTC will be more strong and rise with good stability.
Imho there gona be a correction pretty soon and since we already have a huge growth it is reasonable to expect something hard. Also if OP is talking about middle term price (like some month) then we can also count on the ICO bubble that may blow up at the next year when people will see that  most of those projects just took the money and haven't done anything.
