1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Telegram messaging wants to launch its own cryptocurrency on: January 10, 2018, 07:51:31 AM
Encrypted messaging wants to raise at least 3.5 billion dollars through an ICO, these crypto-currency fundraising, to create its own blockchain platform.
The application Telegram intends to hit a big blow, launching its own cryptocurrency, called "gram", according to the specialized site TechCrunch. The encrypted messaging account and offer its 180 million active users the opportunity to exchange money via its chat application in a secure and low cost.

"Telegram Open Network" (TON), blockchain technology behind the "gram", could achieve 1 million transactions per second. A huge number when we know that only 7 transactions are possible today on bitcoin and 1500 on the ripple (the third cryptocurrency in terms of capitalization). In addition to providing a payment service, TON will support smart-contracts and identity verification.

The biggest ICO in history?
To finance this operation, the company plans to raise, initially, through a Pre-Initial Coin Offering (ICO), 500 million dollars with an entry ticket of about 20 million dollars. Then, in a second time, $ 3 to $ 5 billion from the general public. An operation that, if it were realized, would be the largest ICO in history, largely ahead of Tezos and its 230 million dollars.

Trading can be fun or a Mess even if you are new the luck may be in your favour but don't do anything when everyone see it as an opportunity to gain quick profits out of now where

Well this goes according to the bitcoin dominance in the market right now its 40% so this will not affect the alt coin that much but if the btc dominance goes higher you could expect the sudden red scenario so always Remember HODL

Just keep seeing and never sell in less from which rate you have buy !

P.S: if you are in Ripple Then start selling your alts as this may go up too but you might end up losing too take out your profit and then enjoy its all bankers game Wink

1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: December 29, 2017, 07:22:00 AM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

That's a amusing idea. At 2012 Bitcoin price was $300 now after 6 years its price going to $14000. If I buy some of  my children after 15 or 20 years hope its amusing price. I will try to apply this idea at my own life. Thank you so much for thinking this type of brilliant  idea.

1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ripple still standing firm with few others on: December 29, 2017, 02:43:31 AM
I noticed, as most of the cryptocurrency went down today, Ripple still stand firm and is even moving higher. The south Korean government contributed to this fall in price of BTC as at this morning, however, I thank God that, that have corrected. Ripple is $1.47 and from all indication it might reach $1.50 and beyond before dropping again.
