1401  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a way to earn 50$ in a month from faucets ? on: December 22, 2014, 12:07:27 AM
Just forget about faucets, you won't get much from them. Working at McDonald's should give you easily 10x more than you could get from faucets.
Correct.

And even working less. To get 50$ from faucets you will have to stay 24/7 filling captchas and maybe after 30 days doing this you earn 5$
1402  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to give the gift of Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2014, 12:05:54 AM
Well, actually you could create some paper wallets with any amount and then tell them to scan the QR code to redeem the bitcoins in their phone.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Alibaba going to develop their own cryptocurrency? on: December 21, 2014, 11:59:11 PM
Alibaba should allow payment with bitcoin but if the do, then we will need cargo companies, freight forwarders... to accept it too.

1409  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining using Android ? on: December 20, 2014, 02:32:16 AM
Not Bitcoins, but you can this new alt coin:

http://www.mangocoinz.com/

Works off your phone's accelerometer, so if you run in place, shake it, or move alot, you'll see the coin amount go up.

Not sure if it's tradeable at Cryptsy or an exchange, but there's been a little buying and selling in the Alt section.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time with it.

Mining at home (for profit) is essentially dead.  Mining for hobby is alive and well, just make sure it's cheap and uses very little electricity.  Just don't expect to make anything of significance, and you should be fine.
I have looked for that coin and I haven't found an official thread. It is one? Also I haven't seen any echange or people trading that coin Sad

1411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does anyone keep $10k+ Worth of BTC in Coinbase/Blockchain? on: December 20, 2014, 02:20:15 AM
The issue with paper wallet is i would be sending btc and receiving it.  So you saying keep the paper wallet on me at all times when i do these transactions?  Thing is im not looking to keep btc long term and store it somewhere like imagine i store gold or some document in a safety deposit box that i would go there every once in a while.  I would plan to do probably 10 transactions a month at the max... but definitely close to 1 a week, whether its sending the btc to sites or receiving it and then send to coinbase to sell back to bank account.

Maybe you can use an electrum seed it will be as safer as a paper wallet but easier to save all your wallets in a 12 words password.
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shrem to jail for two years!!! Holy shit! on: December 20, 2014, 02:18:12 AM
if ubricht gets a lesser sentance.. or btcking.. then shrem should appeal his sentancing as it does not fall into line that a lesser crime compared to the other two deserves a bigger punnishment.
Are you kidding?  Ulbricht is going to get no less than 20 years.  He is in a complete different position than Shrem.  Shrem was a little loose with the folks he chose as business partners and didn't care what they were engaged in.

Ulbricht set up one of the biggest drug trading platforms known to man.

Ol' Shremmy was a bit naughty - but not too much more.  Ross is a world class drug lord of epic proportions.  He could go to jail for life.  Size does matter.  Ross sold more drugs that nearly anyone in history.  Many poor suckers caught with a two pound bag of cocaine did 20 years.  Ross does no less than them - I am certain of that.

If that murder for hire stuff sticks - 100% he never sees light of day again.

I think the same sa you, Ulbricht is going to be sentenced to almost all his entire life in prison.

1416  Economy / Speculation / Re: If it goes to $275, are you going to keep faith or just give up save the little. on: December 19, 2014, 11:48:00 PM
Keeping the faith, no doubt.  Price changes alone don't worry me about bitcoin.  What would worry me is if something was wrong with the underlying protocol or something intrinsic to the idea of bitcoin itself.  I think bitcoin is great and the more it drops the more tempted I am to buy more.  Though I admit, I am getting tired of it dropping but not enough to cause me to sell without some clear problem.
I think the same. Only problem we have right now is that in christmas everybody sell their bitcoins for gifts same it happenned the last year what ended in a price drop.

This week we won't see any price spike.
1417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin ticker widget on: December 19, 2014, 11:45:28 PM
I have this installed in my phone and it is the best Bitcoin widget you will find.

You can add 2 widgets with different exchangers. I have mine configured with bitstamp and bitfinex.

1419  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would you do it? on: December 19, 2014, 11:41:57 PM
It is 3000$, just get a job and save the money to buy bitcoin, if you trade/gamble with the money you will end losing everything.
1420  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does anyone keep $10k+ Worth of BTC in Coinbase/Blockchain? on: December 19, 2014, 11:41:13 PM
If you have that amount of money you better hold it yourself in a paperwallet instead of holding it in a 3rd party. Is like if you have 10k$ in an unknown bank.
