1401  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tsu, the facebook alternative to add Bitcoin ? on: October 15, 2015, 03:49:08 PM
Well fb still has the most users, even between 18-24.

I think that tsu will be never able to reach not the activity of Facebook but even 1/1000 of its activity, revenue and users. And this figure is overestimated. Facebook is out and to away of every kind of concurrence in its field of work.
1402  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: October 15, 2015, 03:32:06 PM
bitcoin need to be very safe and comforatbly for user ,just see paypal , its safe and have so many protection but they still can't stop the fuckin hacker  from stealing

Bitcoin in itself is safest than everything else in internet. To many people has tried to crack its code but no one has arrived to realize this. The problem is only the storage of it (if it is a problem because I had never such kind of problem in three years with it) and  some problems with transactions. Everything will be resolved and is being resolved day by day. But these problems exist even with the fiat money. Even the banks can be stolen or even the credit and debit card. Even more easy than bitcoin. So the situation is the same.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN the PORN and GAMBLING future? on: October 15, 2015, 03:20:50 PM
i think it will have a clear future
because porn and gambling have become the daily for many people  Grin

If true the many people we are at the end. Must be definition for that word because many are risky for our little world when we live. If the many are addicted by such things (this can be deducted by all the sentence) my children will suffer and will not have future. They are in danger. Must go away from such place. My mind cannot accept this word for such things.
1404  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Exchange Gemini Approved for Launch in New York on: October 15, 2015, 03:10:58 PM
BTC being regulated (that means I have to provide my documents to "someone" in order to get verified), why would I use BTC while I already have a bank account, credit cards, debit cards and other traditional financial instruments?

I can do whatever I want by using a credit/debit card already and instantly with zero fees on my side. Smiley

It will the best thing you will (can) do. Do not use it and use all the others tool you mention in your post. Leave your bitcoin in your wallet. Theoretically the price of bitcoin can go very high. Only if regulated (otherwise with to much probability will be banned) and accepted legally as a normal currency in your country. That day you remember that you have bitcoin and again don't use those. Only do a change in your desired fiat money. You will have, using this way of action, much more profits than the actual use of it.

This is a dream that it is impossible in this world. The banks will never allow what you say here. Smiley
The people follows the banks and not an utopia.

The banks want their own currency(they want control) not Bitcoin. The banks may only use some of the tech of BTC and nothing more. The banks already have the debit cards and also the mobile payments which will be a BOOM soon. They don't need any BTC with its +15 min processing transaction and with +80% black market.

You have to understand that BTC is a niche market and this is how it will remain. BTC regulated = Paypal or any other similar payment processor. Why would the people using it? Yes, it's ok for speculation for now but don't have dreams regarding to Bitcoin.

When MTGox went down, the price drooped with 50% in 48 hours; same with Silk Road....BTC has around of 3 mil users and much less are owning funds in BTC. BTC has a BIG buzz in media and the results are modest.  What are we talking about? Smiley

Lets wait and lets see.

For the moment I can tell that the banks are only a common business like thousand others. If the economy of the country, the Central Banks, the Government and the other Authorities of one country will hear what every kind of business tell that country will not have more an economy but only anarchy. Every business want things that fit with it interest. If this will be heard by the various authorities never can be arrived in one decision. Because the needs of various businesses sometimes might be opposites between those. So the bakery want low price of the flour while the merchant who sell flour want high price this product. All the businesses want low or at all taxes but the Government don't fulfill their requests. For the simple reason that without or low taxes will be less or at all resources for the development or the existence of the state and the economy of that country.

I can bring here to many examples like above but I think that those are enough to got the idea. Repeat: banks are only an commune business. Like every other business. Their voice have the same power of the other businesses. No more and no less. They cannot be able never and will not be able never to decide the destiny of bitcoin. Are other "powers" those which make decisions.
1405  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Everything Bullish Thread on: October 15, 2015, 02:50:00 PM

The next economy is next the door. It is enough to open it, to go out, to soak the fresh air and everyone who want can see and even use or touch it. Who will try? The most braves for sure.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Mark Karpeles in jail now? on: October 15, 2015, 02:32:42 PM
so Mark Karpeles which claiming he holds no bitcoins anymore it is a lie?

well he is in jail, i'm sure that in remote case he hide some coins in a paper wallet, somewhere in the world, he can use those anyway

i forgot if he was sentenced for life prison or just a few years

Maybe even few (much few). According to Wikipedia the first time was arrested this year and then released. Then arrested again. So must be at maximum months.

According to the above source: "Karpelès was arrested on 1 August 2015 by Japanese police on suspicion of having accessed the exchange's computer system to falsify data on its outstanding balance, he was later released then re-arrested and allegedly charged with embezzlement."

1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Death of Money on: October 15, 2015, 02:16:45 PM
Money will eventually become obsolete in the full sense of it

Gee, I hope we don't go back to bartering.

I understand that this is a mot but someone could fear this situation. So for those I have the below explanation.

It is absolutely impossible. It was like someone which have discovered the richness or the good life and would want the poorness and the difficulties of the hard life. There may be someone who can love this change (and even apply it) but only one or two cannot have the power to impose their choice to the rest of the peoples. They will be seen as a strange by some and as a fools by some others. But no one will follow their choice.
1408  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: October 15, 2015, 01:58:54 PM
just imagine, someday bitcoin will have $1000 price!  Grin

this isn't something to be exciting about, because it has alreayd happened, not only that but it was 1200+ the peak

i won't be satisfied until we hits a real new ath like 10k

Yes, 10k is my target as well. I don't understand people who would satisfy only with $1,000 again. I mean, of course that $1,000 is better than current $250, but I think that Bitcoin's potential is much much higher then only $1,000.

I hope that I am thinking sane here though!

You have at least one friend who think like and hope like you. And even more. The price 10k is the target for me too. But a minimum target. Hoping always for more. The problem is only to resist if the price arrive 10K. It will be true? I will be able to resist if that price will arrive? To tell the truth I don't know. My hopes and reasoning make me to believe in one price higher than that but 10K is a dangerous one. I probably will sell... Or not... Who knows...
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: October 15, 2015, 01:50:48 PM
It's a good sign...

just look at the internet early days, remember when if you used the internet in the mid 80's you were a criminal, outcast, geek, weirdo.. whatever?
When you are something that is against the current train of thought and you can see potential behind it, you are on the winning team.

This reasoning is not always right. You may not be able to understand or see well. In that case you are from the part of the losers. This is an overvaluation of the proper capacities.

But even when your reasoning could be right and you are alone the others will see you as a different (the best of cases) will leave leave you always alone. And being alone you can't do nothing. So the bad reputation cannot not always can be a good sign.

The bad reputation take away from bitcoin all the good things and this is wrong. Bitcoin need for those. Alone cannot be made nothing.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 15, 2015, 01:39:49 PM
What do you think about a strategy that is simple like this:
I play 10 (or any number, but have to stick to it every day as a max.) times with the dice every day, maximum. If I win, I'll quit for that day.
If I don't win, I don't care, I won't play more than 10.
Does this help to minimize risk in the way that I can't get into a loosing loop, only fot the maximum 10/day?
Or it doesn't matter on the long run?

That is a great gambling strategy, I mean I guess it always depends how much you are betting on those 10 bets.  It is the best thing to do, set rules, follow them strictly and have some fun with it.  Don't try and push too hard to win

I dont think that is a strategy, because that is only make your loss bigger but slowly, I never did that because it will just wasting time, better if you set your on goal like 0.1 per day or something like that so you will try win at least half of them
You mean that I set my own goal like 0.1 and I play as long as it is not reached? E.g. if I'm in a loosing loop, I should not stop until I reach the target? In this case I can lose a lot. Is there any way to minimize risk in this case?
This is what I wanted to avoid, to set a goal, and to force myself to push harder to achive it.
Is it true that the longer I play, the more the I can lose because of the house edge?

Yes is absolutely true. All the gamble games are as a setup the wining from the casino or the online gamble site. Otherwise their business would have not sense to exist.
1411  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Satoshi Nakamoto WON'T win a Nobel Prize on: October 15, 2015, 01:20:39 PM
Isn't it known as "The Nobel Peace Prize"?
Or is there one now, as mentioned earlier, for economics? If so then yes. Why not?
But don't expect him or her to show up and accept it.  Tongue

Nobel Prize for Econonics is an award created by the Swedish bank and is completely not related to Alfred Noble's award.

Repeat of my previous post:

It is true but is true even the fact that is treated and awarded in the same way like the other Nobel prizes. From the Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobel_Memorial_Prize_in_Economic_Sciences

"The Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences (officially Swedish: Sveriges riksbanks pris i ekonomisk vetenskap till Alfred Nobels minne, or the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel), commonly referred to as the Nobel Prize in Economics, and as a "category of the Nobel Prize" by the Nobel Foundation itself, which owns the name Nobel Prize, is an award for outstanding contributions to the field of economics, and generally regarded as the most prestigious award for that field. It is not one of the prizes that Alfred Nobel established in his will in 1895, but instead was established 73 years later by a donation to the foundation from Sweden's central bank, the Sveriges Riksbank, on the bank's 300th anniversary. Winners are announced with the Nobel Prize winners, and receive the award at the same ceremony."
1412  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: October 15, 2015, 12:30:21 PM
So what is halving supposed to do with the bitcoin price? I read some articles about that and still confusing. Anyone has a short explanation of this? Thanks.

Halving will mean less production of bitcoins every ten minutes. So if before were produced 25 bitcoins every ten minutes after halving this amount will be 12,5 bitcoin. This mean less supply in the market with bitcoin (half of those). While the demand for it it will be supposed that it will be same. Less supply and the same demand for something mean theoretically (and without introduction of other factors which can change it) increase of price for the product (bitcoin in our case). Because are few in the market and less than the need for those. It is a simple application of the low of supply/demand.

If the market want something and are only few of this thing (less than the people who want it) the price for that product will increased. The same for the bitcoin after halving.

But is only theory. The practice is another thing. Because there must be other factors which can affect the market and change even the demand. But this is another thing.
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Satoshi Nakamoto WON'T win a Nobel Prize on: October 15, 2015, 12:10:35 PM
why need to win a Nobel Prize? its useless , i would rather winning ton of money than a shitty nobel prize

First of all the Nobel Prize is not a simple prize but a prize which give even money. And not few money. Then this is a moral incentive and an world recognition which will give at bitcoin a very and more good reputation, importance and spreading. So this prize will help bitcoin more than Satoshi Nakamoto. My questions is: are you a lover of bitcoin or only a simple user of it which care only for this price in the market?

The main benefit of Nobel Prize is the public recognition.

First I have answered to the post quoted by me. So my answer was structured to give him an answer.

Then I have added some other benefits. Wink And made some other interpretations. With interest for the lovers of bitcoin. And that might make happy everyone of those. Including (it is supposed) even you (if you are here in bitcointalk mean that you are here because of bitcoin). Sorry for all this I have made but I think that when it is treated something must be treated fully and not partially. I understand that you discover something big and important and this had given to you joy and need to show to all the world this discovery (showing it to them through your above post) but I suggest that you think a little more and to try to discover all the things connected with something and not only one specific characteristic of it. I can assure you that your joy in the last case will be way more big than the previous one.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 15, 2015, 11:45:16 AM
If countries wants to ban paper money, people are smart enough to find a workaround solution for it. They can use small golden rings instead of coins and paper money for example, so they will have something phisically to own and they assign value to them in their minds. Gold won't be banned anytime, currencies may change and can be digitalized later on.

So you are telling that if I want to have money without end it is enough to take a piece of paper and draw something on it (for example a house or a tree) and then, give with my mind value to that piece of paper and that's it? I can give that piece of paper the value that I want (for example 100 000 us dollar) and with it in hand by a house?  Huh

Very good idea. I haven't thought about this. But I will use it firstly to buy my everyday bread. Then step by step will use it for all my expenses. At the end will put some from this money in a bank (no one know its future).  Cheesy
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 15, 2015, 11:36:45 AM
it surely has the bright future i believe that bitcoin community will grow a lot in the future and its price will be really high after a few years

you can't be sure on tomorrow but next year ? Smiley

So, take the opportunity now if you can. Speculate BTC as much as you can and done..."few years" can mean never as well.

It is to hard and very risky to do this. And big amounts of bitcoins or money. But even some others thing. Speculation need patience and a little luck. You need to stay in front of your computer following the price of bitcoin with the other currencies all the day. And maybe will have the chance to make some earnings. This is a little hard for someone which have other things to do and have to do a job to maintain its family.
1416  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tsu, the facebook alternative to add Bitcoin ? on: October 15, 2015, 10:52:10 AM
I am member of tsu and I can tell that is not gold everything which shine. I was active there for a limited period of time an had some activity. I haven't see any cent from those. Maybe I have not made the right activity or maybe my activity was not enough that me earn money; I don't know this. But I know that the time spent there is wasted time for me. At least so was all my time spent there.

If those will paid in bitcoin this can be a good thing. But if they will not give satoshi for being and having activity there (as it is promised) this is not a good thing.

And you OP must remove your referral link from your main post. I had a 10 days ban only for posting a such link.
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: October 15, 2015, 08:32:36 AM
The blockchain technology has led to the development of may bitcoin based applications that can help us in our day-to-day life. Some of the bitcoin applications have the potential to bring unimaginable changes to the current banking, governance, law, intellectual property, finance, and other sectors.
For Detailed Info You can Visit :

Very good post. Agree completely with it. Not to much (not in the same level) the article of the link given on it. There are to many other, much more detailed, and with true examples which prove the words written in the post. I can give another article which show, for example, that 22 from the most important banks of the world are working to implement the blockchain technology on its activity. This is a real example that show the importance that blockchain have as a technology. See here: http://uk.businessinsider.com/13-new-banks-join-r3-blockchain-coalition-2015-9

You are lucky. You can do good things with those even if you use some of those now. Seeing that are to much, giving some of those to various members of this forum (those who made posts that like you) it will not hurt you to much. Think about this.  Cheesy
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting a living from Gmabling alone is possible? on: October 15, 2015, 07:44:37 AM
Can a full time gambler lead a life just from the earning from gambling. I think it's possible when we get some experience over time. But some of friends claim they are all successful from day one itself.
It would be nice if you share your experience whether a modern days internet gambling will provide enough and regular money for getting a living out of it.

The answer is NO. You cannot never live with earnings from gambling. It is the opposite. You will destroy your life if you will begin (or will continue) to gamble. The experience in gambling doesn't exist. Gambling is only luck, winning of the owner (for sure) and maybe 1% of thinking simple things that cannot be called experience and cannot give you more than 1% of chances to win. Gambling, most of the times, can create addiction and in this cases the addicted person need a doctor to be again normal or he will destroy its life and the life of its family.
