1401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 09, 2023, 02:40:18 PM
Real Madrid will undoubtedly be favorites against Chelsea. Not only is Real Madrid in good form, but their squad is also very experienced. At the same time, coach Ancelotti is very experienced. Ancelotti knows very well how to perform in a competitive league like the Champions League. He can spot the opponent's weaknesses, and tailor his match strategy accordingly. Since Madrid's chances of winning the La Liga title are almost non-existent, their only target now should be the Champions League title.

Chelsea's performances have been erratic but this team is strong. And so Madrid must play carefully. Try to dominate from the beginning of the match. Chelsea's players will not get a chance to score in this match if Madrid starts to dominate. Even so, Chelsea's attacking performance is very poor.

Chelsea has a strong team with a clueless manager. They swapped one average coach for another. I have always been clamoring for Chelsea to sack Potter, when they finally did, they hired Lampard as an interim coach, who does that? Lampard was awful for Chelsea in his second season although he was better than Potter.  With Lampard as Chelsea's coach, they will get ripped apart by Real Madrid. I'm not saying this because of how Chelsea is but also because of how much experience Ancelotti and Madrid have in this competition, especially at this stage. It will take a miracle for Chelsea to knock out Madrid.
You are correct. If Chelsea add a good coach to the team this time, hopefully the team will become even stronger. Currently, the team has some serious problems, which can be attributed to the weakness of the coach.

Chelsea has had three competent coaches in the last several months; do you think the problem is with the coaches or with the players? I was shocked Lampard didn't bring in Kante yesterday; what was he thinking? Chelsea has brought in new players since Potter was appointed manager of the club, and I think it is the players who need more time to practice exclusively and get their selves together because right now, I can't say whether it is the coach or the players who are at fault, and now that Real Madrid has lost to Villareal, I hope they don't bring the aggression to Chelsea when they meet.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 09, 2023, 02:08:08 PM
I don't think anyone expected Real Madrid to lose this game. They must have been surprised by this result. I would say that the match was actually in the middle. Both teams played as if they wanted to win, but of course there has to be one winner. The first half ended in a draw with mutual goals. In the second half, real madrid was the team that started fast and scored within 3 minutes. But they couldn't stop the goals they conceded and had to be defeated.

Every good player has its days of shine, Chukwueze is a good winger for Villareal and plays the same position as Vinicius and that is why we saw those goals, he has had his first career in Villareal and he has been maintaining that, and that is why they have refused to sell him and again, Real Madrid and Villareal play the same formation of 433 in yesterday ball, and in fact, this is not the first time Real Madrid has lost to them.

The only surprise and shock in the outcome of the match were that Real Madrid was leading 2-1 after Vinicius scored the second goal, but they couldn't hold Villareal and even when they equalized, Real Madrid should have ended the match as a draw, but I guess they lack consistency because they have nothing to lose, and they have also given Villareal the opportunity to climb to the top.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 09, 2023, 01:36:45 PM
You should be able to know more about what Manchester City is targeting in the match and it is very clear that they need 3 full points to continue to stick to Arsenal in the standings. But indeed sometimes this is also uncertain, but if Manchester City is playing whoever the opponent is, try to always bet on the win because this is very different from Manchester United, which was previously held to a draw by Southampton. But I'm sorry about your loss at the bet this time, next time try to predict carefully enough, especially betting with confidence on the team that is catching up on points.
Manchester city added to their winning streak record in the last 5 matches Manchester city always won as well as Arsenal, there are still a few matches left this season so don't underestimate the top clubs that are currently competing, today arsenal will meet liverpool if arsenal loses or is held to a draw by Liverpool, of course, Manchester City has the opportunity to overtake them at the top of the standings.  Wink

Arsenal and Manchester City are both waiting for an opportunity for the first team that will fail to win their match and none of them has had bad luck, and while Arsenal has had hiccups in some of their games outside the Premier League, Manchester City has continued to win every match that comes their way, it shows how hungry they are to lift the trophy, no wonder when an interviewer asked Guardiola that despite they have been sacking coaches, why is he no afraid of been sack and he said, he his not in any way different from others, the little thing he is better is that they win in every game and that is why he job is not at stake, and no doubt, Manchester City is having great season even when they are not at the first in standing.
1404  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be greedy – a short goose story on: April 07, 2023, 11:25:42 AM
Many people don't understand how the crypto market works, there is a time to take profit and a time to invest, if you don't understand this you will easily go into panic mode.

If you are into altcoin investment you need to study the Bitcoin dominance chart, you will know when money will go into altcoins after Bitcoin is done with pumping, whenever Bitcoin dominance is up altcoins will keep getting crushed and whenever the dominance is going down altcoins will increase in value, many people don't know this.

The reason many people keep holding coins instead of taking profits is that they think the price is going up, they thought they understood a thing but they do not. This is not greed, it is just ignorance.

One of the common mistakes investors make is when they notice that their investments have yielded into something, instead of them to either sell 50% or sell everything and be in stable USD, they rather fall in love with the project, that is when you see these projects bring out different news to capture everyone attention like the PayPal partnership integration and google cloud things we have seen in the past, they think this partnership will be as support for holders and believe no one will sell but crypto will always be crypto, single bad news is enough to tank the market by 50% downward.

You can add not to be swayed by hype and market pump when investing.  This plays a huge role whether you can decide rationally or not.  If you invest because someone hyped you then you may not get the grasp of the true reason why you need to invest on that market.  Aside from that, as investor, we should keep all in rational state.  We should not be affected by emotions.  As much as possible we must stay neutral in order to process things we are researching in a most effective way.

Apart from Bitcoin, the whole crypto ecosystem is full of noise and hype, nothing more. They are just rebranded altcoins to move liquidity from one project to another. Tell me if there is any altcoin in the whole of Coingeko or Coinmarketcap that isn't hype for people to buy, after the hype fades away, they begin to plunge and lose all the momentum it has gathered making some groups while the rest of them hate crypto forever. It is only Bitcoin that doesn't have this characteristic of a group of people that controls it, it grows on its own time frame, I even doubt if all altcoins will really grow without the intervention of Bitcoin Halving.

I have always wanted to ask this question is it that there is no opportunity or they do not want to get rich
Mate please more to this I am confused here.

You that created this topic, are you rich as well?  Grin
Joke apart, all hands are not equal so do human beings, we are not equal financially and that natural force will remain till the end of the last day that earth will continue to revolve around the sun. When people have equal financial standards, they will never unite in this life because who will work for who, who will be the farmer, and who will be the employees? All these things will cease to exist when everyone on earth has an equal financial level. Though some people fell into the wrong side of history and that is why it is always challenging to cut the chain of poverty, there are some people that sometimes find their way out of these poor chains and become a self-made rich person.
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: April 06, 2023, 10:20:16 PM
What is your concern?

All business moguls have their prime, and they will stay there until they make a minor error that might cause the entire structure to collapse. Since Elon Musk bought Twitter, I believe Twitter has become less interesting to me. I can read comments from some businesses complaining about the new revenue model, which is inconvenient for them, and Twitter has also developed into a platform for propaganda under the guise of free speech. The organization has to be reevaluated, especially with regard to the blue tick they use to verify customers and businesses. Otherwise, they risk failing when their rivals start producing something more interesting than theirs.
1408  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: April 06, 2023, 09:56:46 PM
When a business is not profitable, there are factors that need to be rechecked if they are working well and follow the timeline of the business you are doing, if for example you are into sales of wears and shoes and you decided to sell your product online on e-commerce, if after some months and you didn't have enough sales, you can increase the level of outreach to people by doing advertisement on the lowest level that it wouldn't affect your profits or offer digital marketing to companies that offer them, you can also increase your products to social platforms without spamming and also sharing to friends, if they don't work well, you can change the product but if that doesn't work, then call it a quit and take your losses.
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remains value haters on: April 06, 2023, 09:44:43 PM
According Samson Mow; Some people hate Bitcoin with an intensity that doesn’t make sense. You need to ask yourself why, and what exactly Bitcoin threatens for them to behave in this manner.

I think some people needs to understand that bitcoin is no man's business concerns. After all nobody is using another man's money to invest. Bitcoin could be greater with time, let's leave the hates about bitcoin.

People who do dislike Bitcoin are either those who missed out on the opportunity to purchase it when it was cheap or those who have financial stakes in the things that Bitcoin is trying to destroy. Have you noticed that over the years, powerful financial figures like Warren Buffet have criticized Bitcoin more than they do banks with daylight rubbery? This is because they have money in banks, control the banks, and because when they first heard about Bitcoin, it had already taken off in price, making them fear that the new generation of millionaires would force them into retirement. But the more negative things they say or spread about Bitcoin, the more vulnerable it is to the public.
1410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage in crime activity. on: April 06, 2023, 09:33:06 PM
Hello crypto bros.
Today I want to discuss a pretty big problem that bitcoin adoption is facing.
Bitcoin is great in means of anonymous transactions and getting away from the banks and government control, but the problem is, it's the exact problem why criminals are using it. And it's a pretty big one. I'm not saying that criminals use bitcoin more than fiat, but we all can see that illegal services are widely accepting bitcoin.

The problem here is that the system should have some way to fight these criminals because we don't want bitcoin to be associated with drugs and sex trafficking,  but the problem is, by solving these problems we should get rid of anonymity which is a pillar for the bitcoin technology, so it can't be done. And this problem might be a big obstacle in mass bitcoin adoption and regulations that are coming.

So I want to hear your opinion: how to make bitcoin technology "safer" so we could fight a crime committed with crypto and help with bitcoin adoption without taking away the main features of bitcoin like decentralization and anonymity?

The fiat has been fully backed and controlled by the government and yet some elites were able to use it for fraud and crime, what do you think of Bitcoin that doesn't have any control and it is censorship resistance? Bitcoin, of course, is primarily designed without any middleman where there is a center of authority, and seeing these features is a green flag for the bad guys who are into kidnapping, money laundry, and other forms of illicit activities, there is nothing governments and authority can do to stop these guys even with the implementation of KYC on exchanges, they still make use of decentralized exchanges without anyone stopping them.

1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy bought more bitcoin on: April 06, 2023, 07:54:54 PM
I think this is a good news as we have this crypto enthusiast organization that continue to buy more bitcoin. Microstrategy bought more bitcoin. Its total holding is now 140000 BTC.

https://twitter.com/saylor/status/1643586872839471105?t=L7IzW6T8ltWlRp-9pB3Oow&s=19

Quote
MicroStrategy has acquired an additional 1,045 #bitcoin for ~ $29.3M at an average price of $28,016 per bitcoin. As of 4/4/2023 @MicroStrategy holds 140,000 bitcoin acquired for ~$4.17 billion at an average price of $29,803 per bitcoin. $MSTR

There is something seen about bitcoin, the future is bright.

The more I see this group of people buy more Bitcoin, the more confidence in the future price increase I have in Bitcoin. If MicroStrategy were able to invest money in this large amount to buy Bitcoin, how much is my money worth that is making to be afraid? I know some people will say invest in what you can afford to lose but this gives me some inner confidence to buy more Bitcoin at all costs.

With this amount of Bitcoin, only MicroStrategy knows when they plan to sell and the price they wish to sell because if anytime Bitcoin price appreciates in value, they will decide to sell some of half of their bag and that is going to be a big concern, it will cause a big fear among the investors.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 05, 2023, 09:44:58 AM
The beautiful game of football is really full of surprises. Just few days ago Bayern Munich won the game against their arch rival Borussia Dortmund in the bundesliga when I never thought they would, today they are beaten by Freiburg at Alianz Arena. Although, Freiburg has been having a fantastic campaign this season but I never saw the defeat coming. Their last outing, they were beaten by Leverkusen on penalties as Leverkusen were crown winner of the trophy. Maybe luck is smiling on them again with another chance. Kudos to Freiburg.
Freiburg is not a bad team, they really know how to fight.
We can say that Bayern was a little unlucky in the match. They wouldn't have lost this game if it wasn't for the last minute penalty, the defense made a mistake. Of course, however, it is a bit interesting that they did not score a goal, when I looked at the quality of attack in the previous match, I thought that they would score 3-4 goals in this match as well.
Now everyone on the internet says that Nagelsmann is laughing Smiley

Bayern Munich's home match against Freiburg was a completely unexpected result. As Munich's performance in the previous match against Dortmund was very good. So in this match, everyone expected Bayern Munich to get an easy win in this match but Munich was a bit unlucky so they lost. Freiburg went on to win the match after 90 minutes of extra time with a goal from the penalty spot. But I am worried about how Bayern Munich will perform in the Champions League match. A win against Manchester City is likely to become more difficult for Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich can win all five of their recent games and still end up losing the next match to a team that is fighting the relegation zone. Freiburg isn't a minority team in Germany, they are good and also in form, which was why they were able to equalize the goal the moment Bayern Munich score the first goal, but the second goal they scored was when things became tense in the 90+ and Bayern Became helpless, these goals are very rare to equalize but they are lucky it is not Bundesliga. I hope they can take advantage of the chance to collect the three points necessary to maintain their lead over Dortmund in their upcoming match against Freiburg.
1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 05, 2023, 09:16:11 AM
The final result is a draw because the two games are also balanced. For me it's a fair result for their condition this season.

Chelsea and Liverpool from the start showed their aggressive game. But it was Chelsea who most seemed to want to win with several statistics throughout the game. Expected goal is a bigger percentage of Chelsea. Then the number of shoots Chelsea also more than Liverpool.

Bruno Saltor completed his first stint as coach well.
Chelsea had a very good chances to score liverpool like 3:0. What chelsea needs most now is a good finisher. I never believed that the game will end with no goals from chelsea.
Kovacic would have assisted in a goal if he had passed the ball but he wanted to be the scorer and he missed out.
Well, i wish them well in their next match with wolves. Am believing they win so they can face real madrid and defend there position.

What happens to Jaoh Felix and Havertz? Kante and Enzo are in a good position to assist them yesterday, just that Liverpool was not having it either, Liverpool's attack was a bit out of shape but their defensive organization was great, Konate played his part and that was why Chelsea's chances to score were killed by Liverpool; the overall performance of both teams was not too bad in my opinion.

Wolves should be one of the teams Chelsea can win to flip place with Fulham but are there too much difference between them and Chelsea itself, Chelsea's last 5 games aren't too different than Wolves even when they sit ahead of them in the standing.

Napoli needs to learn from the last match against ac milan. Ac milan knew so well about which was the weakness of napoli.

Imagine Napoli losing to Milan in Champions League that would be a big disaster for them. They already got destroyed one time in Serie A. That would be huge disappointment.

About Osimhen I hope he'll recover and bounce back from this. Napoli needs him. Without him it's hard to win games for Napoli.

I feel sorry for Osimhen for trying to impress the Super Eagles and yet he couldn't score any goals in the two appearances, and the injury I fear for in the first place later happen to him, I hope he recovered from the injury quickly after seeing what Napoli played in Seria A 2 days ago. I fear that Napoli might not make it through the quarter-final, they conceded 4 goals with a clean sheet from Milan, which is something of concern for the club, they have not won a single match hosted both home and away against Milan, I am even having doubt that even if Osimhen is present, they will still end up losing that match.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 05, 2023, 07:28:04 AM
Atletico Madrid played a really impressive game against Betis to tell the truth. They dominated the whole match and deserved this win for sure. They just scored the winning goal quite late though. They could have won this match with a bigger goal difference than this actually. Because Betis were quite weak with their defending as they were making simple mistakes and giving big spaces to their opponent. Correa's goal was pretty impressive as well. He got skills like Messi before the goal.  Grin

Thanks to this win we can comfortably say that Atletico Madrid have strengthened their position in top four. The fight for the last place in this area would go among Real Sociedad, Betis and Villarreal.

At times, I feel ashamed for Real Madrid and their position; they have abandoned the fight for a first place entirely, and as the season draws to a conclusion, they are now battling for points, forgetting that other clubs will continue to compete for the top four, and therefore the chase for points will never stop. Atletico Madrid has received a lot of attention recently until I realized they had won their past 7 matches and drawn two, and they are just five points behind Real Madrid. If Real lose any two games, they would become a class clown who started the league at the top and still finished third.
1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 05, 2023, 07:15:38 AM
I see this fight going quite tight from the start. Both teams need a win after getting minor results in their last match. It's just that, they have to be satisfied with the achievement of one point. Statistically and Chelsea's game developed a little more under the new coach, it's just that they were not overshadowed by luck after scoring twice and having it disallowed. I'm starting to feel optimistic about Chelsea, it's possible that in the next match against Wolverhampton they will be able to reap full points.
The draw in the Chelsea vs Liverpool match is a sign that especially for Liverpool they have finished in the hunt for the European competition zone, not only for the Champions League even for the Europa League it will be very difficult for Liverpool to come by, they are not showing as a team that is ready to win in all the remaining matches, maybe when Liverpool play at home they will have a very big chance to get full points but as a visiting team they are not so good. Klopp fielded quite a different set of players than he is used to but it's a shame the result was still unpleasant as a draw isn't great for those trying to improve position. Chelsea only has a chance in the champions league if they can become a champion but that is much more difficult to achieve, so it seems that the two teams will only compete in local competitions for next season and their positions will be replaced by Newcastle and Brighton who have appeared quite impressive this season.

I hope you are also aware that this is their fourth game this season plus other leagues combined, and they concluded a draw on regular time, and no players were able to score any goal, but some players did not offer leniency in their performance. Like Enzo Fernandez, I don't think that young man deserved to be at Chelsea after his performance yesterday, even though he didn't score a goal for the team, he produced successful passes, touches, and passes received from the backline. What can a midfielder do more than what he is doing for Chelsea? Kante attempted to regain momentum yesterday, but his extended absence is affecting his play, maybe things will get better next season.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 03, 2023, 02:23:41 PM
Chelsea are not so powerful this season, they are inconsistent, in the bottom half of the EPL table and just recently fired their manager, so it is all going wrong for Chelsea at the moment. I think it would be quite easy for Real Madrid to eliminate Chelsea, just as it was easy for them to eliminate Liverpool in the RO16. Chelsea have a good and young squad, but quite a lot of them lack the experience that Real Madrid's players have in the CL. I predict City are going to defeat Bayern, and Real Madrid are going to eliminate Chelsea, thus we are then going to have a repeat of last season's CL SF between City and Real Madrid.

Potter got fired, well it was expected, the only question was how much Boehly had the patience. It would seem that Chelsea is still in the Champions League and perhaps dismissal before the Champions League match with Real is not the best time, but with the replacement of the coach, Boehly pulled as much as he could. Real Madrid will benefit the most in this situation.

I understand that Boehly is a businessman, but he is irrational when it comes to decisions, especially with the players and the manager; I often wonder who slips suggestions in his ears. When it comes to replacing players and coaches, timing is everything. He fired Tuchel in the middle of the season when Chelsea's performance was not as terrible as Potter's. Graham Potter's reckless Chelsea performance this season was something they should have spotted before arriving, but they needed cheap labor; meanwhile, Tuchel is sailing at Bayern. I hope Chelsea does not move from bad to worse because they have already experienced average to bad performances.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: April 03, 2023, 01:58:49 PM
First of all, we are not on official campaign period, so all these talks about who would be the nominee doesn't really make sense yet, nobody even officially declared yet.

Secondly, Trump is a former president and beating a former president on the reelection nomination is as hard as it gets. Sure dude lost and that is a terrible thing for the party, and they would rather have someone who could win, and last time Trump was in an election, that made democrats vote for their candidate a record amount, so that is a trouble but that doesn't mean that we are going to see the same thing again. Let's see how it will be after 4 years of Trump vs 4 years of Biden faces each other.

The thing is that the United States is a really divided country. Anything can happen, as roughly 50% of the people hate the other half and think they are right and the others are wrong.

Not sure what's going to happen, but it will be close.

Trust me when I say that racism is dividing them politically. The fight for black freedom and police brutality is something I don't see ending anytime soon in the United States, it was a weapon used by Democrats since the appointment of Barack Obama as President of America, they lost against Trumph the republican with Clinton in 2016 and then the Corona period came, they upgraded this time and used NO to police brutality against blacks because Trump didn't say anything about those abuses, the opposition saw the opportunity and Biden used that again to remove incumbent Trump but they are not having this time with his government. Lord knows what will happen next between the Democrat war and the Republican.

When it comes to scoring goals Lewandowski has always been good, he has always known to be a goal scoring machine. Lewandowski is a great player and it is possible that before the season end he will increase the amount of his goals. Lewandowski is one of the reasons of Barcelona victories in their games.

With Injuries ruining the season of Pedri and Dembele we can clearly see that Lewandoski is struggling a bit when it comes to scoring goals. Pedri and Dembele are Barcelonas most creative players, they create a lot of chances for Lewandoski. So its totally possible for Benzema to catch up and even overtake him. Benzema is also a good goal scorer and it seems he begining to get back last season form.
Its going to be fierce battle between Lewandoski and Benzema for the pichichi award this season. If both Pedri and Dembele gets fits and starts playing soon then the chances of Benzeman winning the pichichi reduces even further than it already is now.

Talking about assists, no player comes close to Lewandoski when it comes to assists, he has assisted more players this season than any other player could, and as the number 1 striker forward for the team, its the responsibility of other players to provide assist for him when there is need to score a goal. Though Dembele is a good winger and is the only player that comes second with good assists for Barcelona, not sure of Pedri, even Balde has more assists than Pedri this season because he has zero assists this season.

Real Madrid has rained a spree of goals against Valladolid, this ought to be what they were supposed to do in the middle of the season to overcome Barcelona in the standing and they are only doing that now, maybe they will end up with a golden booth if Benzema multiplies his effort but they are far from lifting that trophy.

The thing that made Man United unable to play well against Newcastle was that they did not have a central anchor who can flow the ball from behind to the front, and I think this crucial role is usually played by Eriksen and Casemiro. Since the two players could not play in the match then their rhythm became chaotic because McTominay and Sabitzer were unable to fill the role.
Actually, on Ten Hag era McTominay played well in the center but as we know he is still one an unstable MU player, so if filling up the empty position, this is not guaranteed to play like Eriksen or Casemiro, and I heard Ten Hag have a new strategy to put him as attacker also which I think this situation will make him so upset in which position he should play in the best performance.

I had no idea Casemiro played such an important role in Manchester United's defensive organization until yesterday when Callum scored their second goal for Newcastle. Manchester United had 5 men defending and couldn't stop Callum from scoring, which was really disappointing. In fact, I never expected to see Newcastle so quickly in that top 4, but I noticed they have crawled there and because they are good, there was the potential to make it back to the top 4, but there is no difference for now at least because the two teams have the same point, only the number of times they lost matches were used to determine their standing, next matches will confirm who will take between 3rd and 4th place.
